So yeah, I gotta wipe everything clean & start fresh; probably have the hubby install XP on here instead. Registry is fucked up beyond repair and I hate Vista with a fiery passion anyway.

Made backups of (almost) everything I wanna keep. Not looking forward to having to re-download all my Be-Pachi & Stepmania stuff but... <:/ *shrug*

I'd rather have my lappy fully functioning again and be missing a few programs than deal with this crap any longer. Feh.

I don't think you can have two families who are related to each other living separately under the same roof. It just doesn't work.

You don't give someone an ultimatum to choose between them or everyone else. It's not about siding with one or the other-it's about being a big enough person to be able to say that things got out of hand and resolving any personal problems without any additional conflict.

I'm just sick of being caught in the middle of everything. I hear both sides and they each want to exonerate themselves of any blame. I wish I had a more logical head for this kind of thing. All I know is that things just got out of control at the time. If we could all sit & talk together we might be able to pick up the pieces, but at this point it just feels like we're at an impasse.

I know it's for better or for worse but it feels like it's going to become the latter more than the former from now on.

It's 4:31 on Tuesday morning. I just got back from an 8-hour round trip drive from Shawnee to Waconda Lake and back again from rescuing the husband from a disaster of a trip. Long story short-no one actually *wanted* him there (even his own father); they just needed him for the deer tags.
Plus, he was really sick when managed to call us to get him (staph infection) & no one there would believe him or they'd just make fun of him & call him a pussy & stuff. (*especially* his own father)

I'm very happy to have him back in one piece but I'll be damned if he ever has to see that "father" or anybody else of his lot again. Wes did not deserve any of the bullshit they all put him through.

But yeah, needless to say-the whole trade thing is put on hold indefinitely for the time being.

Wanna try to finally do a stream but want an excuse to do so (i.e. "I'm art-blocked/uninspired/lazy/etc.).

So I will take two random fullbody cel-shaded requests from the list below and attempt to stream them here in a bit. :>

Only stipulations are:

-G to PG-13 only (non-detailed nudes/mild pinups are fine, NO detailed genitalia/porn)
-No mountains of details that will take forever and a day to get correct

Didn't quite know what to think going into it, but I actually enjoyed it quite a bit.

Yeah, I finally got around to watching the new Pony show. Not that I ever really remember watching the old show. XD

Not all that good, but not all that bad either. *shrug* At least it gives the girls something else to watch instead of that insipid Fresh Beats band. >3<;

I just moved a couch, computer desk, entertainment center, and bigass BAUHAUS armchair out BY MYSELF.

And now I'm gonna shower & die before I go to work @ 4:15. *OTL*

-Gotta totally get moved out by the 15th

-Get furniture moved (gonna use the van & arrange the house accordingly)
-Get appliances moved (gonna rent a truck for a day and get a pallet setup going under the deck
-Get all trash dumped (not sure for this one yet; talk to the trash guys about paying a flat fee or something, maybe :/)
-Get all of the house cleaned (weigh the cost of doing it ourselves vs. hiring someone to do it)

We also owe for roommates' part of the rent too, along with utilities, which is probably around $5k altogether. So tired of getting dumped on for this shit, I swear to god. *RAGE*

-Get kids ready for school

-Get $5k raised by the beginning of next year to pay off back debts

-Maybe try to see if I'm ready to try commissions again. Nothing emergency related or anything like that; I know I screwed up last time. I'm going to post up a permanent ToS and a list of what I will/won't draw and keep a separate list (not on here) for ongoing orders (that way nothing gets accidentally deleted).

-Would streaming sessions work better for quick commissions like sketchwork/chibis/flat color? I've been wanting to try streaming like on Ustream/Livestream/Watchtail but I just can't seem to get a good setup working for me.

For those who do this sort of thing on a regular basis, is there a certain configuration or one particular site that you tend to stick with? I'd really like to try doing this on a regular basis for quickie commissions and it seems to be a good way to provide live feedback and opinions/critiques on whatever you're working on.

Anyway, I'm glad I sort of have a schedule to stick to. Let's just hope nothing else decides to go wrong for a while.

Still so much left to do. I just feel stretched thin...like used plastic wrap.
I wanna try & draw, sketch, doodle, ANYTHING, but there's so much other stuff taking priority right now. I feel guilty just THINKING about doing anything else but moving or cleaning or working or kid-rearing.

I should be painting right now (freelance job) but I just want to rest and veg, even for a night.
