Yup, as of today, this group of carbonated canines is officially 4 years old! 4 years ago, Blazger and Kobuk started up a Livejournal group dedicated to making canine characters based around brands of pop.

Thank you for all who are a part of this group and we are looking forward to adding to our ranks.

We would love to get a fursuit group picture going and also, for those not suiting as a Soda Pup, a meet-n-greet.

One proposed time was 1-1:30 pm by the gazebo out back. Another mentioned time was right after the fursuit parade on Saturday.

We'd like to hear some feedback for what would be good for everyone. Also, would like to know who all is going.

If you are, leave a shout here! We'd like to gather SodaPups for a group photo there if we have enough interest and enough Pups showing up. Let us know if you'll be there and with your Soda Pup suit!

Even if you don't have a suit, maybe we could do a meet'n'greet.

Also,  jellybeans95 (me) and  shiroelex will be at FWA as well. No idea if an official shoot will happen there as well, but perhaps with enough interest, I could orchestrate something.

Hey everyone how are things shakin? Hopefully not them sodas and then ya open them :P

Wanted to thank a few folks for creating their sodapups and coming up with some interesting concepts that our group has faved. You guys are the awesomeness.

Also wanted to give a shout to our new neighbor's who moved in to FA, the  sodaroos group.

You all seem to be on a roll with all yer many roos out there and the many sodas that have been picked. Hope ya'll have fun with it.

And I sure hope ya'll are having a blast with your soda pups.

I do wanna say though that 2 people of the group right now get special privledges only for their canine selections. One is  reizend with a fennec sodapup and the other is  jacek of her wolf/dragon hybrid. The reason I have ONLY allow'd them to have these pups is cause I was trying to stick with the different breed's of canine's from around the world.

Foxes are indeed canine, however I didn't want to be overrun with tons of soda foxes now. So if there are like only certain breed's of foxes then please let me know what they are and not hybrid breeds k.

As for hybrid's they are a good idea but not what we're going for here. So only Jacek's hybrid will be allow'd.

Another deal is the soda pups that arn't sodas, but I like how they are none the less. This special shout goes to  azurecoyote for her awesome monster energy pup.

Hey everyone Blazger here:

I wanna say welcome to everyone who has been apart of the group and joined here. Also wanna say welcome to the new comers and to those who are watching the group.

I'm really happy you've all been enjoying it to those for years and those for a week.

I know everyone is having lots of fun with this group and I know from what I have seen that many of you would luv to make the fursuits of yer soda pup concept. I can't wait to see how they turn out when everything is all said and done. There is no limit to how many soda's are used again and again but make sure you at least have fun in the creative process of making them.

Some existing soda pups are being redone and I will have some stuff up for it soon. If ya'll are thinking of getting one made or if its almost done please let the group know so we may all look at it and know what to expect at future cons or fur meets.

My suit I hope will be coming out soon in the next month or so, but I can't really be sure on that till I see how the suit is doin. I know however though many wanna see it in action and I promise to have something of it soon :)

Other suits have been finished but I'm waiting on pictures from the ones who will be owning them.

Anywho till then keep them idea's comin and keep enjoying the sodapups =^-^=
