Posted 13 years agoFirst of all, there have been a few weeks at work that I've not had a day off, alongside a lot of drama with scheduling, management, coworkers, and the owner of our business. In that time span, we've been in danger of being evicted from our home, lost our internet twice (until I could cough up the money to get it back on), and I've fallen into a pretty hard depression. Needless to say, I haven't been around for these reasons and while I am dreadfully sorry, I am also hoping that those who have been waiting so damn patiently (I love you!) will continue to understand.
I'm working on getting a different (read: better paying) job with the hopes of either leaving my current one or working two, and after three weeks, my arm has healed from a fiasco with donating plasma, so I can start doing that again for some extra income. The math says that we're going to make it out of this, but I'm afraid of getting my hopes up until we are actually clear of it and finally breaking even instead of spiraling downwards further into poverty.
I really try not to go into too much detail here or through private communication, but even though I've either not had the energy, the internet connection, or even the heart to, I've failed horribly on the communication front and that was terrible of me to do. Expect some scattered updates here and there in the near future via private messages if you've been waiting. I want to guarantee times and dates but right now the only date I have for certain is when rent is due and that if I don't get it and all the extra fees to my landlord, we will be tossed to the curb. It's making my throat and stomach tie up in knots just thinking about it, but I know that if I don't focus on this, we're not going to make it.
It's only July and I want this year to be over and forget that it ever happened. Nothing is fine and everything hurts.

Posted 13 years agoI figure I could keep this account more active by posting personal works, but I did create it with the sole intention of commissions. Any preference? I'd like to avoid having more than one account, and I really don't do enough personal work to justify making another one.

Little update for those curious or waiting:
Posted 13 years agoI finally managed to get a job! I'm still looking for a supplementary job (2-3 hours on weekdays just isn't going to cut it alone), but at least now I can relax a little and bring my focus back on finishing commissions so that I can open them again and be much more punctual with finishing the products seeing as I would no longer be constantly worrying/making sure that life doesn't eat me alive.
Also a little heads-up: I will be doing a massive revamp when I open commissions again. These changes are VERY important, so it will be necessary for you to read them carefully. These changes will affect pricing, quality, services offered, and my terms of service.
As of this moment however, all commissions are still closed.

Posted 13 years agoAlright. I've had to make some tough decisions recently, and this is one of them: Any outstanding commissions that are UNPAID are canceled.
I feel really, REALLY, shitty having you folks wait and then needing to bail, I really do. >_< Having just lost my job with no notice and with the possibility that I may no longer have utilities or a home in the very near future, I'm sinking practically all of my time into saving this household and finding another job (or two...or three).
This DOES NOT affect any commissions that were pre-paid in any way. Those who are affected will see their names stricken out from the list and sent a personal note of apology. If you have pre-paid for a commission and would like a refund, please send me a private message or an email and I will get back to you ASAP.
This also means that ALL commissions are currently closed.

Posted 14 years agoUPDATE 10/5/2011: I received my new power supply and surge protector last night, so my desktop computer is back up and I can start working on commissions again. Again, I'm very sorry for the delay this caused! Also, a friendly reminder that Iron Artist is now open!
EDIT 9/25/2011: Last night, my power supply shorted out, so my desktop computer is out of service until I get it replaced. The good news is that I have a replacement on the way already, but this will of course cause a delay with working on commissions until I can get the replacement in my computer. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
Currently, there's a lot of dramatastic and general business at the house here. I am attempting to work as fast as I can between people moving in and out, family drama, handling big expenses, and some moderate health concerns. I've also got my site set up with information for Iron Artist (I've still got to make some examples and get more busy on the current list), but I am NOT accepting submissions until OCTOBER 1st.

Posted 14 years agoIn light of wanting to improve myself, I'm closing the currently offered services until I have completed the current list (save for SR500 and seribaba, I will contact the both of you about future plans that have already been discussed). Once this is complete, or until I am almost done with it, I will be opening Iron Artist commissions. I'm thinking monochrome creature sketches for $5 a piece. My goal is to improve my skills in non-human or semi-human anatomy. :)
I will post another journal (and modify my ToS) once Iron Artist slots are available, and there will be 25 slots to start.

Low-Cost Commissions!
Posted 14 years agoI've created this account with the intention of getting it out in the furry community that another person offering commissions is in town! This is not a strictly business account, but all submissions made here will be completed works or WIPs of current projects.
While I'm admittedly not part of the fandom, I have no qualms with offering my services to anyone who's willing to pay. I offer different types of commissions in certain circumstances: at the moment, I offer a variety of sketch commissions for $10 or less. This is subject to change any time, but not without notice! I've been known to offer full color commissions for $20, grayscale for $15, and clean line art for $10.
Any changes to the services offered will be represented in my profile information or on my website listed below. :) Keep an eye on those two places, that's where the info is at!
