Already getting fed up with this new laptop after just a month lol. It just can't handle the stuff I need it too and the storage is so garbage that it causes errors, crashing and me having to restart it multiple times a day :'D So I'm hoping to somehow get my old one fixed. I messed it up by spilling tea on the keyboard and now the keyboard is shot completely which has made it unusable. The keys do not work if I press them, yet if I press one down too hard the key gets stuck and causes other issues in the process. I'm hoping it's just the keyboard that needs fixing and not something that's gone wrong internally. I've tried plugging in a usb keyboard and it seemed to work fine until the actual laptop keyboard decided to bug out xD I really want to get a replacement keyboard to at least give it a try. If not I also really need to get a hard drive adaptor lead thingy so I can at least rescue my files from it ;u;
I just need something better then this crappy little HP stream... Do not recommend anyone getting this piece of crap ¬_¬'

I'm so annoyed right now >.< I was working on a commission and the stupid SAI trial ran out and now I can't save the progress I made T^T

I had a full version before... hehe... but my tablet stopped working with it so I had to get the trial version in the meantime. I haven't been able to buy the licence like I wanted because all my stupid money goes on our stupid debts.

Right I think it's about time I post this and try to sort this situation of ours a bit.
For those who haven't seen my previous journals about this or are new to watching me, me and my family are currently in debt by over £4000 spread across different bills (rent, poll tax and water being the main three). The biggest one is the rent which is the one we need to get paid off asap, the others can wait. We are in arrears with our rent by £1600 of that total and have been taken to court for it twice now, we've been lucky enough to be given extra chances but we're now on our last chance before we get kicked out for good.
We've been trying everything we can to sort it out, from getting out loans to seeking help from debt management companies but it's just not enough and we're getting more and more behind with the bills because we just can't afford to pay what they want from us every week.

Not gonna lie 2018 has been utter shite for us so far. It's just been one terrible thing after the other., especially this last week and I know I probably sound like a broken record now and some probably don't believe me, but I couldn't make this shiz up if I wanted too. We're just that unlucky =.=

First up at the end of last week the version of SAI I had suddenly decided to stop allowing my drawing tablet to be used with it, so now I'm stuck with the trial version that's going to expire in less then a month. This is the reason why WIP updates have been later then usual for any of my commissioners who were wondering.

Secondly our little dog who was just coming up to 3 years old, just randomly got ill Sunday night and died a few hours later. We don't know what happened. One day she was completely fine, her usual weirdo, scatty self and the next day POOF! My younger sisters were devastated. My sis sm0shy made a tribute drawing which she posted here. Thirdly I was carrying a large bucket of white paint upstairs for my youngest sister because she wanted to paint her wall after a little accident which stained it and as I got to the top of the stairs the lid came off and white paint got all over our dark brown hallway carpet, the wall, my trousers and my socks. Luckily the wall is already white so it didn't make too much of a difference but my socks and trousers were f'd. We also managed to get the majority of the paint out of the carpet but it still has a white tint to it :'D

and lastly after months of me complaining about it (sorry btw), the people we rent our house from have sent an application or whatever to court to get us evicted. No joke, we're gonna get kicked out of our house if we do not pay that £1,600 off we owe on our rent or if we miss one single payment. We're trying so hard to fix things but it's just so freaking hard on our own. We literally have no family or friends who can help us which sucks if we do get kicked out.

So yeah.. I'm really not doing so good at the moment. I'm definitely going to have to post a journal soon to try to raise some funds towards our debts. Sorry for the ranty journal but I am just so stressed, depressed and pissed off at the moment, my head is just super confused x.x

Sorry for the inactivity this week. As you know from previous journals, my laptop broke last Saturday which was the only thing I had to do my digital art on so I haven't actually been able to work on any new digital drawings or my commissions ;u; I have however been drawing traditionally again in the meantime but of course since my old laptop is out, my scanner is too since I have no where to plug it in at the mo so I have to wait til I'm actually able to use it again :'D

Butttt.. I can now get back to drawing digitally again WOO-! I now have a little HP stream laptop which I'm hoping will do me until I am able to get something better but it doesn't have a lot of storage space either so I'm going to have to try to make it work somehow ^^; I should be able to work on stuff again starting on Monday hopefully. In the meantime I'm going to try to set up my art programs again. Wish me luck lol xD

My files are still stuck on my old one though so until I'm able to get something to rescue them, I am unable to access them at all. So update on laptop... it's fucked. Now it wont even turn back on properly now. It turns on and comes up with a fix screen but as soon as I click enter it lets out this high pitch beep and then crashes. Now I cant use it at all ;u;
All my files. My programs. All my recent art SAI files, animation frames, photos and linearts from last year and this year are stuck on there and I dont know if Im going to be able to get them back. Im so pissed off right now >.<

So long story short, I went and spilt tea on my Laptop and it majorly fucked my keyboard up.. None of the keys are working now and it keeps trying to click things and other weird shit. Like it was already quite old and on its way out but this just pushed it over the edge :s
So now I am screwed cus my laptop is what I use to draw my digital stuff, without it I cant earn money ;u;

So now I need to earn about £400 for a new one and I cant even draw for it because if I cant use my keyboard I cant save shit orz

Hope you all had an awesome new year so far! I started 2018 in pain lol. Not a great start to the new year for me, of course that's just my luck though so I'm used to it at this point xD My wisdom teeth decided new years eve would be a great time to start growing through some more and the left side of my mouth has been sore since :D So I'm probs going to have to have one of them out at some point in the near future. Could be worse though so I'm not complaining too much but my mouth is so sore right now :'D

I wanted to go over some things in the journal besides that though. First things first I will be raising my prices this year. There are a lot of things that factored into why but I'm not going to go into that here since I already said why on dA. Secondly I am going to try to improve as much as possible this year. I'm the type of person to draw something, think it looks good at the time, then go back to it and hate it with a passion (the rare exception being my Joltik drawing which I still adore) and right now I just really don't like my art xD So I want to improve a shiz tonne :D I'm going to start by changing the way I do some things, like shading, fur and adjust the way I do eyes. My anatomy is getting there finally but my backgrounds could use a bit of work too x3 I've started by making it a thing to draw and practice stuff in a sketchbook at least one page a day all this year in hopes it will help a bit.

Thirdly, I'm thinking about moving accounts sometime, just so I can keep my user the same everywhere under my actual business name and so it's less confusing. I'm still unsure of this yet though, I've been on this account for a while so it's gonna be hard to leave it P:

and lastly, YouTubes~! As I mentioned in the last journal I will be posting weekly vids there from now on. Just speedpaints, animations, tutorials, drawing challenges and maybe some amvs with me singing at first until I get a camcorder. Then I will start recording my traditional stuff too ^^

Just wanted to say sorry if I'm a bit slow with working on art at the moment, especially sorry to those I owe art to. I'm currently dealing with a few minor health issues at the moment. One is that weird thing I get with my hands every year where my fingers/knuckles swell and get lumpy from the cold and become stiff and sore which makes it hard to draw for long periods at a time x.x
I've also got some kind of infection in my right eye which I've had for the past two days as well which is getting pretty irritating. I have no clue what caused it but my eye is also very sore at the moment :'D

I'm sure they'll both get better in a few days, but if I take a bit longer to finish something then usual for the next few days, that's probably why x.x
