Okay maybe not. I sorta did that in 2013 and didnt even bother in 2014 so i should put the effort in somewhat this year.

The convention was probibly the best i have attended thus far, just topping 2013 due to the company i was in this year along with a few other things. I didn't attend many events to be fair, athough i lost my voice at the first one (That being Two room's and a Boom which was hosted by an excellent chap whom's name i forgot) I am now known as "Glorious Leader" to anyone who was involved in that for reasons, only known to those attendee's xD Safe to say, i greeted the ones i regonised with "Glorious Leader greets you" Because I'm an arsehole. Also discovered what Superfight is, or moreso how much fun it is to play with Groups. We spent a lot of the con just playing that cardgame, including in the Pawpets Show (in which i somehow got on the frount left row. It was great!) so that was excellent too. I didn't suit too much this year, but i did allow three people to get their First fullsuiting experience, with two of them having it as their first suiting exsperience in general. Which was excellent. I also got to preform to a bit of a crowd after the suit walk. I borrowed a head of a bird (go into that soon) And whilst wearing Teeko's body suit, started to randomly talk crap about being a science god and all that crap. A small group of people stayed around and watched me, where iw ould go over and interact with the ones i could see. It was bloody great fun, I'm rather hoping that someone took some video footage of that.

I took a fair bit of video this con as well, athough a lot of it is Superfight. That's going to appear on Youtube eventually. Also manged to run the TeaPot Trophy this year in a totally non bias and fair way which was excellent. We had... about 12 people take part, as to which a gentlemen who joined us halfway through the first round won the full contest in an epic 3 way final! so much fun was had (again, that is all on tape and i will compile it somewhere)

Fursuit cards too. Always fun in the lobby.

I took part in Lucas fursuit video, athough i am unable to comment on that right now as it is a total secret, and i am a bird. But it was good. Got my normal commission or two from the Dealers den and generally birded around. Food did not seem to be so much of an issue this year which was grand. The staff seemed more into the whole thing which was great. In general, i had a most excellent time, and i am surly missing out much much detail as to what crap i got up to. So be it!

Confuzzled 2015 was great! And i look forward to 2016, if just for the theme (which i am digging already!)

It was good. Whee!


Okay, a little more on that. I had a really good time. the first two days didn't feel too *con like* if you know what i mean, i just didn't quite feel it. however, i knew i was in good company when within five mins of arriving in the lobby (and waiting for my roomate to come down) I was runninghugged by Doublestrand, that really set the tone of excitement going.

Over the course of the con, i got really fucking drunk, did Karaoke with puppets, danced in and out of suit to various songs, played with balloons in the lobby, ran around screaming "Combustible Lemons" and met people whom i have been waiting for years to meet. It was a great experience, moreso because of friends then events (In honestly, i went to Pawpets, opening/closing ceremony Frankensuits, dealers den and on the fursuit walk only) Everything else didn't appeal to me too much. I spent some time in the Games room playing and setting bits and pieces up (i brought a load of random shit, which i will re-define next year)

The food in the hotel in the cheaper area reminded me of staff food too much, so i ended up going to Subway twice with various friends to eat the food there and generally cause havoc in the NEC. (Always fun)

Oh, Liftcon. if i hadent been suiting, i would have hung around in that some more. Hell, since the Banner Brawl was canceled, the two canvasses were left outside the dance night for random furs to draw on. and when even *i* have a go at that, you must know I'm having a good time! Hell, i even commissioned someone face to face in the dealers den for some art which is now on my wall. and i commission everything though notes, so that was new!

So yes, all in all despite some things being no cop (the weather/not getting staff discount on food) Other things made up for it madly (Puppet Choir, Fursuit dancing, booze, bad puppet show)

Also, i hurt my knee somehow and had to go home to get a TV. It seems that going home is becoming a running trend with me and conventions.

Anyway, what with taking this whole thing a little seriously, I decided that for the logistics of some fairness I would write up a quick description of the game we will be playing at Confuzzled for the Teapot Trophy this year. Because why not.

This year, we will be playing Sensiable Soccer on the Amiga A600 (floppy disks) Its one of the games in the series I have not familiarized myself with. Its kind of hard to pick a game you think will work, whilst at the same time not actually playing it much, which is why I went with this version of the game. It runs on some mechanics I am not used to, unlike say the one on the SNES which I have gotten too good to be anywhere near fair with it.

Anyway, for the purpose of this quick description, I have written up some basic instructions over game play pictures. Thing is, not being dat smart myself, there is the possibly they may be wrong. HEY HO!

But first, what are we actually playing for? That would be this.

That would be the Teapot Trophy itself, Assembled from PURE NATURE AND BOB MAGIC :I Don’t underestimate it. I will quickly run over how the trophy itself will work

I hope to use this trophy itself once a year for a similar type thing between friends for shits and giggles. The winner of each year will have a plack placed on the trophy with their name, year and game won. The same person cannot win it twice in a row, so if player A won it in 1788 and 1789, then player B who came second would have their name on the trophy in 1789. This stops it being covered by just the one name. The winner of the Teapot Trophy will also choose the game for the next year (Depending on its playability) So its not always me picking games. It adds a bit of variety and all that crap.

The Trophy will always come home with Me, just because I like shiny shit. :U Sorry!


Moving on, Sensiable Soccer. Its a football game from the 90's, top down view. We will be running a league setup playing each other either once, or twice based on how many of us show up. The same goes for points, 1 for a draw, 0 for a loss, 2 or 3 for a win, depending on players. It may be kept at 2 so that the whole thing is far more competitive and leaves the door open to anyone to win.

Both controllers are the same, although due to age, one is slightly softer in its joystick then the other. That one will be used for player two, to simulate an “away game” performance. However, the differences are negligible at best.

One button shoots and passed (based on how long you hold the button) and tackles when pressed. To tackle normally, simply run into the player whom has the ball. To slide tackle, press the button.
Players can move with the ball in all 8 directions on the pitch.

When shooting, keep your finger on the button for longer for more power. Turning the joystick left or right will also add curve to the ball which may be required to beat the goalkeeper in some situations. Passing is always in a straight line.

The player you control will have a number above its head. The two players numbers should (herp) be the same color, but the players themselves should be wearing different kits, so a difference can be seen.


Before a game starts, You are introduced to your team layout and formation.

Here you can change the formation and which players you have where. All players on your teams will be called after your Bob Name, par one whom will be named after your furname

(Example. BobBob for 10 players, Doublestrand for the 11th)

Ball control is a little tricky to grasp in this game. The first match of players who have not played before will be rather messy I fear. When you turn sharply, the ball will not turn with your player, especially if you are running at speed. This means that bolting forward and wriggling left and right to beat the opponent will simply cause you to loose the ball. This is the most difficult thing to get used to in the game, and one of the mechanics that once grasped gives you a large advantage over opponents. I have done my best to show here in the drawings how the ball physics work on the ground.

And no, that isn’t the game, but damn. All the internet screen shots are of set pieces or shots! No dribbling or naff, so work with it.

Corners and free kicks work like passing and shooting. Press in the direction and either tap your button or press it.


It is possible to have players sent off. Although uncommon, its even more uncommon to be given a Penalty. But they exist!

Rather self explanatory, this is the only period of time that the goalkeeper is now automatic, so paying attention is important on this bit.


It is also possible to substitute players in the game. However, I am not 100% sure how to active this menu. (I know how it works mind)

When the ball if out of play, press button two or right/left on your controller (One of the two) and your pitch side menu comes up. Here you can change your formation, tactics and substitute players. This can be important if your 1-0 up and just need to hold on for TWO WHOLE FREAKING POINTS OF PURE AND UTTER VICTORY... unless its three. Then its three points of Eh.

So yes. That’s about it. That’s how the game works. If your still a bit confused, its going to be in the games room from the Friday onwards. Go and have a poke. That or look at youtube at some game footage. Just recall, Amiga A600 version of the game, Season 92/93 methinks (I would double check, but EEEHHHH)

And of course this is for fun. Its a game. We can do the whole go to a room and play games until 6am blind drunk again another time!

So i go back to work today. I'm not that fussed or anything, in a secret way i'm kinda happy. I like working, its what i live to do in a way, no matter how much i may end up bitching about it sooner or later. Going to have to explain the convention to a few people as well, but that's fine (i cannot help but think one of my workmates drove by whilst we were waving at traffic. Should be fun)

I know i said i would write a con report. so here it is

The whole weekend was Fucking awesome.

That's about it. I don't feel right writing one, it feels a bit odd x3 Their are so many photo's knocking around that can tell a much better story then i ever could. I made so many friends and hung around with new people, as well as old friends. It was a kind of surreal almost experience, i aint never pulled anything like it before. Although off the back of it, i want to resolve to start getting out more, going to the local meets. seeing new people, you know. Having a social life? Its something i need and want to do off the back of this convention.

I didn't end up with Con Crud or PCD either, which is good. (Well minor cold, but nothing I'm fussed about) AS some of you know i have a rather odd way of managing my emotions and depression. Odd as it may be, it works pretty well and has done wonders here!

As for Finger Dance and the KanKan in the nightclub... yea, i enjoyed setting those off x3 because. Why the hell not!

But all in all yes. i had a fantastic time, above and beyond what i had expected. i spent most of the con suiting and the rest of the time socializing like i was a normal person x3 I have already started saving for next year's convention which will be a slow and lengthy process, but i recons i can get their x3

That's about it. back to work today. Will be back and active on Twitter again henceforth! I also have a few bits and pieces to post but no real commission idea's at the moment x3 I have to budget my money for the rest of the month (and next month, onwards. ect)

And if you decide to smoke in the bedroom, or the hotel, i will be reporting you to the Con staff as well as the hotel staff (I work in a hotel, i KNOW how bloody annoying people smoking in the hotel is)

Just gonna be cutting down on commissions for a little bit until i pay back some things. Those that are already paid for mind, or agreed to aint affected. =>

Well... its been a little while since i posted one of these. (okay three months or so, does it matter?) so i guess i had better type something relivent... whatever that may be.


I'm still alive! that's relivent! i'm damp now (showerburd) i have been on a lot of nights these past three months, i have two more nightshirts tonight and tomorrow, then i will be off until around the 27thish (17th-27thish off) which is nice. March if no one knows, is the end of the holiday year where i work, so everyone has to take their time. as for me, i turn 25 on the 21st of this month, so i decided to have some time. And THEN to go further,  smraedis and his partner  SDF_of_BC : are coming down to spend a few days which is lovely like. Hence i might not be online too much around that time.

My car is having more work done, circa 25th march now. then that should all be good, its passed its MOT and insurance is due at the end of the month.

CF2013 is coming up in a few months time. I'm still hoping my suit is completed and within my hands by that time (i have few doubts personally, but my brain is niffy about that) so i guess i will have to find the Meme for that later on and do it as well, right?

Been playing a lot of games with people recently, most notably Red Alert 1 and 2, as their the ones we (finally) got working x3 i have been streaming some of these games, which i would announce on my twitter feed (@Hawker_blue) but nothing recently. I been playing these games since 98-2000ish respectively, sooo... yea, its great to be able to play them online again xD.

I'm also starting to think that their may be strands of A-sexuality within me. I mean for instance, i have no interest in the idea of sex in general. it don't interest me. sure, furry porn does the trick, but... that's not the same thing if you catch my drift. So i dunno whats going on their ovo

My budgies Hawker and Orzel are doing fine. All chittering and chattering in their cages, being all happy like. So thats good! hawker is still overtly aggressive to Orzel, so their still separate and by the looks of it, will be for their entire lives which is a shame. Even so. Nice and simple i guess... not much been going on recently. playing a few games with a few people, surviving in general. being a shiny burd and such sorts. nightshifts. No valentine (oh well) working tonight x3

Both birds have lost hteir Scaly Face which is great, and both seem healthy. dancing around doing the chirpy noisy burd song!

So i figure its been a wee while since i wrote anything that... yeam blah blah blah. i dont do these journals that often but i really should do, hehe :3

First off, We all know Hawker, me budgie hawker that is. nice blue burd, sits, chirps tweets and generally makes noise. now i always thought he was a boy. Brought him as such, cere was blue, boy budgie. Nope! Christmas eve, the cere went a convincing brown with white rings around the nostrils. mah burd is a gurl. Great, not that i mind this of cours.e just worth saying.

Had a really nice christmas and new years. was working new years mind, but shit happens right?

Been ill these past few days. getting over it, but real sore neck and oddly sore finger right now too as ai type.

I aint not good at writing these things, Specially when i have match of the day on! YAY!

anyway, been a bit meh as people who talk to me on IM systems know, on the basis that today was my 7th shift on. and i still have one to go, although that will be 8 on, 2 off then 4 on, 2 off again so i guess its alright. but yes, 8 shifts on is why I’m so meh.

Also, bit of an art exodus of posting and such, I'm sure you noticed. i been a bit meh, but picking them back up and such, posting in due time. I think at the moment i have one or two more things to post, which i will in due time. due time. heh.

Got Tuesday and Wednesday off, which will be nice. I'm out Tuesday evening to see my folks, have food (Liver and Onions at the moment methinks) which will be nice. Come Wednesday I'm out with work to do a *hotel name* in the community thing, were going to go and paint a scout's hut which will be nice. I tried getting in Scouts. i got thrown out of Cubs, so at least i can return the favor for them putting up with me :3

turned my Xbox360 on for the first time in like 18 months the other day, but only because i learnt Sensible world of Soccer was available on DLC, and of course me being me, i *needed* to own it. so now i do. Its pretty good, the original arrived this week but i have not tested the disks just yet. I'm lazy x3 I should start playing some more Xbox games and games online, if people want to play with me... Just say?

Hawker is fine, he had a sore on his beak which is clearing up some and he seems more perky then before. got him eating Broccoli and Parsley, as well as a vit/min supplement for his water and to mix with his seed some which is excellent. so he's doing well. He's moulting all over mind, so my house is now covered in feathers.

been in minimal contact with my ex. Got to post him a few bits and pieces, which i will probably do sometime next week or the week after, then done methinks.

So yes, all is well enough in the Hawker Household, Well, Back to Match of the day 2.
