Ever since i changed to Hawker a few weeks ago (what, three or four now?) an *awful* lot of people have started to watch me, out of the blue. as in, within the past what, five days i garnered about 14 watchers? thats kinda insane by my standards (And very much appreciated of course!) It just surprises me.
A lot more people have decided to get to know me though IM systems too then when i was Estoni. Does this mean people like burds more then eastie dragons? Curious!
Either way, people still want me to be a toy most of the time. I think i might have to do something along those lines!

Recently I was told that I was not living "In the real world" which got me thinking. Well that was a fast two weeks
General | Posted 13 years agoOr maybe not... but. Really, just going from the past few days of being Hawker, i have done more and enjoyed more in general than in almost four years of being Estoni. I can tell you, simple and such now... I aint goin back to being Estoni. I'm going to end up being Hawker on a permiment basis.
So yea. Please do consider the changes completly permiment from this point on, unless i suffer memory loss and need to Eee to myself.

A Fursona experiment.
General | Posted 13 years agoSo, FA is back. That's excellent. We like that as all websites need some downtime, be it for a Hardware failure or anything else. Its acceptable and anyone who bemoans FA because of it should grow up and consider the fact that FA is free for all.
Anyway. Moving onto the main point of the journal.
As some of you know, I have been split between two charters as a main fursona recently. Estoni Scaralii and Hawker-Blue. I have been Estoni for about four years now which is a relatively substantial amount of time to be someone and hence because of this I have become quite well known AS Estoni. Which makes it a little harder to do this. However, I feel very little connection towards him. I aint really got much connection to him, don’t feel like him all the time. Sometimes yes, I still Eeee. I couldnt deny that. But I feel a lot more like Hawker these days. I'm a bit more... serious that way, hell I even make sure to drink the same bloody stuff. So I have decided to have an experiment.
For the next two weeks I will be labeled up as Hawker. Icon, personality and the rest of those bits and pieces. To be blunt, for the next fortnight I will be Hawker. Not Estoni. After that two weeks (give or take some time) I will decide on how people have reacted to the whole thing and decide if I’m still going to go between the two toons, or settle on one or the other.
So yea. From now on, I'm Hawker, at least for two weeks. Estoni still exists, he just is not me.

I ave signed up for Confuzzled and paid for next year. Which is good. A freind may be crashing with me in the period before and after CF, depending on if he wants to go in the long run. If not, i will be looking for a roomie. Of course, with that in general (as long as i somewhat know you) comes an offer to crash at my place for a week or so. before or after. Because I'm a nice guy :3 Ill even pick you up from EMA if its nessiserry.
Thinking too far ahead? Of course i am! plenty of time to sort this out.

I want to go this year. and this time around i really mean it. i know i said that last year, but had no joy due to circumstances. This year I'm in a much better posistion to do it. I'm planning to hand my holiday form in for next may's dates and look into having the week before and after off (yay holiday)
So really, waiting for registration to start. not that i will be queing from the word go. Need to save a little money first, that and want to see how things pan out. General | Posted 13 years agoGoodness, this week has been busy for me in regards to emails and such. in fact, more journals have come out in August then most of the last two or three months. kind of sad isnt it? Anyway. I was not doing much really, ahtough i have moved into my new home. All my stuff (par a few little things i need to move) are across and one of the rooms is liviable! I need to start unpacking things, but until the back bedroom is painted and decorated, their isnt that uch i can do in general as that will be my bedroom. Their's even a nice cupboard where i can stick me toys. aint a lucky eastie? This house is lovley, athough you will exscuse me not posting photo's of it in my current state. Heh. My hampster and budgie are doing just fine, they have not exploded and the move does not seem to have bothered them much. Went out to a furniture recovery center today and got a computer desk, lovley table n 4 chairs and a freezer for 70 pounds. the freezer alone would probibly cost that in most other places, so that was excellent. And right now, I'm just sitting here typing away on my PC, which (after a little concern about the HDD and booting, which it did in the end) is now in the frount bedroom where i will be living with all me inflatables (bagged away) and a lot of other random shit until i can move stuff around. But yea, two bedrooms, one bathroom, one huge room, utility room kitchen and a shed... I HAVE A GARDEN SHED! oh and i have a garden too :P i even have a washing line! After two years of hanging shit up in my bathroom, a washing line is a GODSEND! no proper parking, but so be it. for 76 thousand, i shall not complain. i need to have it damp proofed at some point which is fair enougha and it needs to be repointed. i have plenty of work to do in this house which i will set about doing over the coming months and years. but yes, despite onr or two things, all here now. cheers all you who wished me well, i apprecaite it.

Actually adding to this journal quickly, what's the best way to move a large collection of inflatable toys? i have to number over 100 flat and folded toys right now, and athough i am only moving around ten miniuts up the street, its the thing i'm most worried about moving. I assume a large box and some patience are the best option (as i did when i moved out of my parents house, into this flat) but still. If thair be an easier way, do let Estoni know

So all doing well, i should be at a new adress by mid september at the latest i would hope. Completion forms being signed off later.
Waiting for some commisions to be finished, but not planning to have any done this month due to effects of moving around. (around 4 seperate ones in the works)

General | Posted 13 years agoWell it has been some time since Stompychar left. Life has gone back to this strange i guess we shall call normal and i have Rum in a silver (plated) Goblet. If you call that normal... well good you on! I'm working again (oh yay, people) England are still in Euro 2012, but on the basis that no one has been knocked out yet. Few commisions going in and out, the normal.
Oh yea. I'm buying a house too... interesting that isnt it. I'm not going to go into major detail, but its looking good at this moment in time :3 That and... Eee! I plan to go to Confuzzled next year as well, as by current caculations it will be within my budget, and is hosted only around 15 miles from me (Hinkly is close by which is awesome) So assuming all goes well yes.
I even got a radio working in my main room. its an 80/90's peice of tat and barly works, but a radio is a radio! and so i can listen to me eveing shows whilst typing journals no one will rea... oh right
Oh debating changing Fursona too. Probibly wont since i like Estoni, but who knows (commisioned ref sheet of the other chap toon thing involved)

General | Posted 13 years agoSo... a few days have passed since Stompy left. I like to think I'm doing alright for myself. I mean. I have re-arranged the bedroom so that's somewhat clean now. the flat has not exploded and i even manged to get my hands on a hampster cage and get it all set up today (since after having my car looked at for its failing Handbrake, i want to go and get a Gerbil)
I still miss him mind. Dont think that i dont, its very very different to be living on your own completly when you ahve in all fairness, just lived with your parents, then with someone else. its a strange expereience and probibly one that's going to go on for quite a long time. However in time, I'm sure that may well change, for both him and me.
Being alone does however make me appreicate how Skype works, and just being able to see other people and talk to them in an (almost) face to face manor. okay, its not the same as actually having Stompy sitting eight feet from me talking about, say a fail compliation, but its better then a kick in the teeth.
Talking about Kick's in the teeth, I'm back on WoW. Great.
On the almost Ironic side, i went to the CarBoot yesterday looking for bargins. didnt buy much. some USB speakers for 3 pounds (i really needed since my jack port is dieing a horrid painful death. nice speakers they are too!) and two large bags of balloons for a fiver... how come i get such things after the person who likes them the most leaves? Sods law innit

Edit: Great. Mechanic didnt come to look at my car, and apparntly Gerbils are impossible to find. four shops, none. how irritating. got one more to look in tommorow (before metal detecting) before i give up and get a Hampster.
