Hi everyone, after that whole lmfao drama with FA about a year ago I couldn't log into my account anymore.

At that point in time I figured it was time to finally kiss this account goodbye for once and for all (I HATE the username) and I'm not going to revive it this time. Today I was all 'lol, wonder if the password reset works now' and lo and behold it did. .

Regardless of all that: THIS ACCOUNT IS DEAD NOW.

It's been a good time on FA, met lovely people, but it's no secret that I have no respect for the way the site is managed. The latest drama in which the staff has behaved extremely unprofessional and unapologetic has made me decide I'm really done with this community.

It's a shame, I do have the most watchers here by far but in the end, I think it's time to pack my bags and leave.

Don't worry, I won't be deleting my gallery - and will still log in every once in a while to check on everyone and finish those commissions, but I just don't feel comfortable putting any news works on this burning train wreck. Maybe it will be better in the future but for now I remain unimpressed.

I hate this username anyway :D

Okay so I bought my Cintiq, that's great.

Unfortunately it seemed to have dust stuck under the screen after a month. Okay, I figured I'd contact Amazon to ask if this was under the warranty. They email me to let me know they're sending a new one.

Except that it managed to get lost in transit.

So I contact amazon again.

Alright they'll send me a new one.

It arrives today... and much to my horror I check the screen when opening it, only to find a ding on the bloody display!

So after ages of talking to customer support amazon wants to send me both tablets back so they can refund me.

Great and all but that process takes 2 weeks or so and until then I cannot order a new tablet :'D

So... no art for a while it seems. Joy of joys.

... on a less depressing note I find myself playing a lot of HotS lately and gosh, Dehaka is such a precious cinnamon roll. I love playing him. I normally main Rehgar or Lunara so it's a nice change.

Anyone else here who plays HotS and wants to play together at some point?

I have people inquiring me about commissions and I'm sad to say that I will have to close my commissions - I do now know for how long.

I have a backlog and my depression is really awful at the moment, as a result I find myself unable to create artwork that is acceptable for commissions. Perhaps it is good enough but I find myself unhappy with it and stressing out a lot.

One of my Intuos 4 ports has given up the ghost and while it still works wonderfully, it does not make it reliable enough for me to keep it as my main tablet. As a result I have pulled my savings and bought a Cintiq 13HD. I wasn't going to do that until I'd earned enough through commissions alone it but I can't stand the idea of not having a reliable tablet.

To earn some of that money back I am looking to 'rehome' my Intuos 4. Rather than listing it on ebay, I'd rather see it go to someone here.

Age: Bought in mid 2010
Tablet condition: Good. Minor scuffs on the replaceable surface. The 'left hand' usb port does no longer work, the 'right hand' one still does. If you know how to solder it's easy enough to fix (sadly, I lack the equipment).
Pen condition: Good. The top material of the pen grip has aged and has scuff on it but the actual grip of the pen is still in perfect condition. It still works just as well as it did when it came out of the box. If you would like pictures just ask.
Extras: Comes with the pen stand, the tool to replace nibs with and various unused nibs (such as the spring ones).

Asking price: $115/£80 - free shipping if you're from the UK, anywhere else I'll have to discuss with you. Willing to discuss the price

Over the year I've had people approach me, asking why I no longer do artwork with neat line art.

Truth to be told, because I don't have the mental power to do it anymore. Over the last year my health has taken some pretty nasty blows here and there, both mentally and physically. I'm still not quite out of the water and besides the outstanding commissions I have I will no longer be offering this type of art. These commissions take many months to finish because of this very reason.

This may change in the future of course but for now, enjoy the messy coloured sketch style. I know I am so it's a case of sorry not sorry!

I can't believe how long I've been unable to work on commissions due to my arm, along with forgetting how to draw and time just slipping through my fingers.

Really am not improving artwise lately, I need to gg.

Well I have been qqing about the arm for ages now but it's finally recovering - I just need to slow down and remind myself that it's STILL healing and not overdo it.

The burn wraps around my entire arm but all that beautiful pink skin used to be completely raw (they had to take the top skin layer off and while it was fasincating to see, it hurt like a bitch).

I have two wounds on this side that are healing iffy - in particular the one on the bottom, it had some bandage irritation and got nearly infected - but HEY WE ARE ALMOST THERE.

It's not even funny at this point anymore.

Yesterday I was taking pasta off the hob, got my sleeve stuck while carrying it and poured boiling water over my right arm. Around 20 by 15 cm of my arm was affected.

Don't read this unless you're interested in gross injuries.

I didn't think it was too bad so kept my arm under cold water for ages, then put a non stick bandage and clingfilm on it. Yeah I've had second degree burns before I didn't think it'd be too bad. This morning it all looked fine. Then, at work, I noticed more blisters and by the end of the day they had expanded so much...The small blisters had all expanded in 3 mega blisters with so much liquid. Bleh. So today I had to get all the liquid drained and the affected skin removed.

So yeah. My arm is out of commission for a bit. I need to visit the doctor on Monday and Tuesday to check my bandages - I can't wear shirts they're so thick - and uuuuugh.

Tl;dr Do not burn your skin off. It's 0/10.

I'm not one to talk a lot about my health because it's a very personal thing, however recently my health has become so bad on a seemingly permanent level that I feel I owe it to you guys to be open about it because I've suddenly fallen off the earth.

For the last couple of months my muscle pains have been getting increasingly worse. What I mean by muscle pains is the feeling one normally gets when working out and the muscle stiffness the next day. For me it's not in one place but all over and in particular my legs. It's so bad in my feet in the morning that I can barely walk, I kind of stumble. On top of that I have joint pain, a fever and literally all my lymph nodes in my body are swollen and hurt like a bitch.

I've had all these issues in the past but never have I experienced a flare up so bad and for as long as this one. I got various tests done on me around four years ago because the doctors didn't know what it was. Something about my auto immune system and the possibility of it being lymphoma. Of course you never want to hear it may be cancer and you need to keep an eye on the symptoms. Of course before all this stuff triggered I found some unusual growth that I require to get checked.

I've moved country so I can't go to the specialists I've seen then, instead I'm waiting for the option to even see a doctor to help me out.

On top of it all it couldn't have started at a worse time because this is my last week at my old job, starting my new one next week and essentially I'm so exhausted and in pain all the time that I can't get myself to draw. My apologies for that...

Tl;dr I'm really fucking sick and it may be more serious than I originally thought. Sorry for the lack of updates.

My new PC is a precious darling, the builders call the model Hades so I've lovingly renamed it Cerberus. You know, to stay with the theme and because it glows an evil red.

Just need to find a moment to install all my software then it's time to cracking on long overdue work.

Sorry for dying this week, my health is rather suffering at the moment and I've been barely able to drag myself to work. BUT I got the job :D!

It's a fixed term 10 month contract which is perfectly fine for me. I'll be working as a European Banking Coordinator and yeah... that is something completely different from my usual stuff which is great, I'm moving up. I have no experience so they'll be training me for it.

I'm terrified though, being put in charge of handling millions and millions of euros but very excited too :D

I got a job interview this Thursday. It's a banking job which is only temporary but it comes with full training (they know I have 0 experience and would still like to invite me)... and I'd be making double of what I earn now and I just-

I need this job so badly ;___;

I am not taking any more sketch commissions until I'm done with everything in my current batch.

I've noticed you awesome people keep following me but I feel like I owe it to tell you that unless I get commissioned for inflatable pool toys I do not draw this subject.

Like I happily draw it when people commission me for it, it's hella cute stuff but when that doesn't happen there won't be updates. Hope that won't be disappointing :(

Having said that, I do have a pool toy commissions coming up of which I'll share.
