Oh my god if I have one more person telling me that it's fine that the demon hunter class is limited to two races only because those were the original races the class belonged to in Warcraft/WoW I'm going to have a fit.

Asking this because of a project I'm planning. I'm doing some character design and well... I'm also just curious because I enjoy talking to you lot rather than just throwing some drawings out and hiding!

My personal ones are gryphons (who'd have thunk it), dragons (western and eastern), foo dogs/komainu and the kirin <3

I tend to get these migraine like headaches when there's a pressure change in the weather and no painkillers can fix it.

No I don't take requests unless I specifically state so. No I will not draw your new OC unless you pay me. You can discuss all your ideas with me, I enjoy listening to them but don't think this means I will draw them as a gift.

I know that this is a common issue for artists but people approaching me while sounding like they'd like to pay me for my art, me listening to them then them getting wet feet the moment they are presented with an estimate bill because they thought I'd do it for free is really getting my back up. Hell it's discouraging as heck.

If you don't think my art is good enough to pay for, don't talk to me about drawing for you. Stick to the freebies you get uploaded here.

People give me enough shit for me charging $20-25 per drawing. Gah.

I always used to feel like I wasn't allowed to do sketches until I'd done ALL my commission work. Later I found out that this is detrimental to me actually getting any commission work done. I apologise for taking very long to get some of yours done but god, it's the only way I'll ever improve.

UPDATE: Bless the Naarden City Council, they actually called me up after closing time. They'd managed to get their system working again so I could apply for my passport today. Fingers crossed, but it should in theory be there by tomorrow!

So I'm in the Netherlands to get my passport sorted and I arrive at the city council to be told that they're having computer problems.

An hour and a half and various bullshit 'Oh it's fine, they'll have it back up and running in 15 minutes' llater, I'm sent back home with the following explanation:

After a system update over the weekend the entire database (nation wide) has gotten corrupted. There's no chance I can get my passport sorted out in time before I head back to England.

I have no words for this. Absolutely speechless. I mean, I actually burst out in tears when my mother just made light of this issue as well. 'Oh it'll be just fine' she said at first, then had the fucking audacity to say 'Oh now I'm starting to get worried' when I got sent home.

She doesn't understand what actual money and losing your job over this bullshit worries are like.

Aaah my baby is back with me. I leave for the Netherlands tomorrow evening, but I'll try to get back to everybody here now it doesn't take me forever to write a single sentence!
