Well I guess I'll have to go back few years into 2nd grade in elementary school. I was always interested in animals and around the time the teacher was trying to get us to improve our writing capabilities, so she assigned us to write a one page story and create a character in a certain situation. Thats when I came up with Kota. He originally started out as a grizzly bear and in the story everyone was an animal of some sort (I assume I was a furry and didn't know it). Kota used to be a grizzly about the sizne of a tall ma 6'2 and about 250 lbs, he was also a captain and he was quite undeveloped at the time. I wrote the story and the teacher said it was odd that used personification so much in the story and that it was a bit different from what the rest of the class wrote. So I came to the concept of walking talking animals and I really liked it, so I wrote more stories of Kota developing him more and more over the years. The in 6th or 7th grade I wanted to change Kota's design up a bit thus sending him from a plain ole grizzly (No offense to you sexy ass grizzly burrs) to a grizzly bear with two paw prints on both sides of his chest, one on his left eye, his eyes went from navy blue to ocean blue, his height also changed from 6'2" to 8'2' and weight went from 250lbs-450lbs. Kota had also gained a last name around this time and ultimately was the time i found out that i was a furry. Throughout highschool I continued to develop Kota more and more until I realized I wasn't satisfied with his design. So I did a complete revamp of him, giving him his current design, more than 5 height variations, significant weight gain, and gave him an age. The biggest change was in his species. I always loved bears but i also wanted to make him a wolf so decided to mix the two together and turned him into a demon bolf composed of a demon cave bear and dire wolf hybrid. Kota now stands proudly at 12'5" and weighs 1,500lbs and is the sexiest bolf alive

I never expected him to be so well liked and thanks you guys for being good friends, fans of Kota and everything else you guys do. Biggest thanks goes to my awesome friend the sexy chocofox  Almasy. He brought Kota to life and was extremely patient throughout the entire process of creating him. He helped Kota make a pretty large intro with my first picture from him. Thank you to all the artist who helped contribute to the ever growing gallery of this sexy bolf. Big thank you to my fans and friends i made over these few months who steadily encouraged me by supporting Kota hehe.

I've been noticing over the years that numerous artists and illustrators draw both bears and wolves with with one less toe. Why is that? Bears have FIVE toes on all four paws not four. Wolves have four toes with the exception of the dew claw making it five technically. Wolves do NOT have three toes. Don't know why I wrote this journal but I guess I can see what my fellow furs think of this

About: Kota was born in Trondheim,Norway to a feral mother who in turn after basic weaning turned him over to his anthro father to raise him. Victor and Riork and all being school aged had no formal learning whatsoever except what their father taught them which was everything he knew. Kota never took interest in much as a kid except his undying love for the ocean and thus he took up after his father and became a ship captain. Later on he went to Uni and graduated with his bachelors in marine studies.

Personality: Kota is quite the serious type hence the stone face and usually the emotionless appearance to most who he does not know. Once you break past that outer shell of his, you'll find that he is a loving, kind and very nice bolf. Kota is is extremely protective over loved ones, close friends, and especially his mate and children, he will fight tooth and claw for them.Besides that Kota is very easy going and is always ready for a good time with friends.
