General | Posted 9 years agoSo, I have an idea of what my fursona is going to look like; and her species...somewhat. Thing is, it's like the will to draw things has been sapped from me, ever since the incident where my computer crashed hard and everything got wiped; I had been working on a drawing that I was extremely happy with, at the time. :/ I was thinking that maybe I should just find some line art and color it? At least before commissioning someone to draw my reference sheet. Cause that's more than likely what's going to happen. Like writing, I just have lost interest in drawing as well. When I try, I just get all depressed and quit not even halfway through.

General | Posted 9 years ago So, I've started a new job recently. A job at a location that's so convenient for me and pays well too; along with $1 pay bonuses on Sundays and Holidays. It wasn't a position that I was hoping for; cause I was looking to branch out from the food area, but I managed to get a position in the grocery store's bakery dept. Said store is called Brookshires. I live about 5 minutes away from it. All I have to do; no joke, is just walk a little bit, turn a corner and there's the grocery store. I love it! But, yeah, I'm finally out of that hellhole aka Subway and somewhere where I can easily walk to work and can work quietly without much interruption. It's great! Despite me being lazy and not wanting to go to work cause I wanna stay home and be in my den all day, I've been getting some good hours starting off and the department's hours are perfect for my scheduling. So, yeah, that turned up in my life and I'm not going to leave anytime soon! (Unless something even better comes up!)
In other news, I've been debating a species change in my fursona; in which I am still in the process of revamping...still! Well, I'm thinking of retiring the malamute/bear concept and going for a different sort of hybrid. I still want to use a canine species and may go full mutt/something else, or something along the lines of a GSD/something else. I've kinda re-fallen in love with the GSD breed; after my roommates took in a GSD and a pitbull/lab to pet sit for a friend, and it made me think of how badly I used to love All Dogs Go To Heaven. I've always wanted to get a GSD and name him Charlie; just like Charlie from the movie. Yes, I know he was a GSD/Collie mix canonically. But, ever since I was little; before falling in love with malamutes, the GSD has been one of my most favorite dog breeds. So, I'm thinking about giving it a shot. Maybe! I'm still a little torn, to be honest.
But, yeah, let me know what you think or if you have any suggestions in mind when it comes to my fursona. Anything is appreciated.

I'm just curious, cause I try to find poses that other artists use; and I don't want to rip off said artists, and I can't find 'em anywhere. But...yeah. Suggestions and where to looks would be so darn nice. Spank you!

General | Posted 9 years agoSo sorry that I've been very inactive. I have no motivation to do anything at all, whatsoever. It's no one's fault. So, just chill.
Artwork from me is more than likely going to be nonexistant at this point. I've haven't had the slightest inspiration to draw and I probably won't for a while. Sorry.
I'm such a Debbie Downer and I still work at Subway, hang me the noose bruh. Oh and, Harambe still lives on. #DicksOutForHarambe

I've been very inactive
General | Posted 9 years agoSo everyone knows, I've been mostly inactive for a few reasons...
- I've been working my butt off at Subway. I'm mostly a weekend opener these days, but there are days where I do work the day shift during most week days. But, for the most part I'm an opener on the weekends.
- I haven't really been in the mood to draw as I am to play videogames. :/ Sorry. But after an incident that deleted all of my artwork including some WIPS I wanted to post on here, I've been completely thrown off of digital art for a while now. I will do what I can to start drawing again, but it'll take a while.
- On the 3rd, my estranged biological father had died and I had to deal with some arrangement making with my family back in PA, about the release of his body and funeral plans and etc. Then about a day or 2 later, one of my uncles on my father's side of the family had a heart attack with a 99% blockage and was in the ICU. I'm not sure if he's been released, but the last I know of, he's stable.
- Around the same time as my father dying, uncle being hospitalized, I get what I believed was a sinus infection at the time. Welp. It turns out it was a dental abscess. So I had to deal with nausea, pain, swelling, faint feeling, fever, chills, and all that jazz until yesterday. It really affected my performance at work and almost got me chewed out on Friday cause I wanted to call off for the next day cause I wanted to go see a doctor. Manager wasn't having that and essentially threatened me to work the next day. So, I did and things got worse and it was then I learned it wasn't a sinus infection, but a dental abscess.
- Oh, it gets better. I finally got to a dentist yesterday and was put on a course of antibiotics. But, here's the kicker...it's not 1 but 2 dental abscesses! And both teeth are beside each other in the upper back left part of my mouth. Yay! The antibiotics will buy me some time but I want to keep taking them until I can get my teeth extracted...and the office wants to do that in September. :/ Apparently my dentist will be booked and it fucking sucks. But the receptionist told me that if anyone cancels she will get me in asap. In the meantime, I have to pop penicillin like candy!
But yeah, it's been complete fucking hell week for me. That's why I haven't been so active as of late. Oh and Pokemon Go is fun!
So, please understand and forgive my inactivity. c:

General | Posted 9 years agoThat's right, this boofer has found herself a job! It's not much, but it's easy and part time. I didn't even really get an interview, I was pretty much hired on the spot. Although the scheduling and all that is clusterfucked and the place is a bit disorganized, I've got myself a job at a Subway inside of the local Walmart. I make $7.25/per hour and get roughly 28 hours a week. I'm actually very grateful for this opportunity and am very glad I finally managed to get SOMETHING after a search that went on for more than a month and stressed me out to the point where I could barely sleep and my depression got very very bad and just ruined me. But, here I am, just finished day two of my job and I was already asked to not quit by someone today, as I was asked by the same person as well as another, yesterday; my first day. So long as I got some hours per week and make a decent pay, weekly or bi-weekly, then I'm good. I need the work and I could use some money; which may as well be disposable income between the butt and I. c: Nonetheless, I figured I ought to let you guys know. I'm super excited to be working again!
Also, so you guys know, due to this recent employment as well as some computer mishap a little while ago; nothing extreme, don't worry. I will be putting commissions and all art progress on hold. I will try to work on some art here and there, but for right now I need to focus on some other stuff and getting back into art after my computer being a butthole, is gonna take a little bit of time. Please be patient, and don't be afraid to ask any questions or what have you.

So, I recently got time on my World of Warcraft account and can officially say I'm back into the game. Oh, how I've missed it so, so much! :v Oh and, the butt and I; aka
kovax_votu, got Overwatch tonight and will probably start playing it late tomorrow night and probably for the majority of Wednesday and Thursday. You should probably play with us too; if you have a Battlenet account. On that note, I think I can trust some of you guys enough. Feel free to add me and play some WoW and/or Overwatch with me. c: My BattleTag is: Solux#11233 :p
In other news, I've been putting in job applications left and right and have gotten some more to fill out. I walked about a greater portion of a mile today, trying to grab applications wherever I could. I'll begin filling those out when I have a moment and go online for the others. I really hope Taco Bell calls me back for a second interview; I had my first interview last Monday and have called to see about getting my second. I really need/want a job. My art is coming along slow, but I will have examples up in due time. But, commissions will probably be very slow and I won't be able to rely on them for income. Not yet anyways. Anywho, wish me luck on the job hunt! :p Any tips, advice, and recommendations are appreciated!

When I will close them is up to me, so they will be opened until said otherwise. Feel free to ask any questions in this journal; or pop me a note if you want to ask me something prefered not seen in comments.
I will be uploading some examples of my artwork here soon, once I start getting some stuff drawn. I haven't been too productive with my art and haven't really shown anyone what I've been up to. I may post a sketch or two, but delete or throw it in my scraps later.

I have the right to refund you for your commission at any time.
I will give you an estimated deadline for commissions. If I don't, a typical rough estimate is 1-2 weeks.
You have the right to request a deadline for commissions, but it must be approved by me.
You may email/note me regarding commissions at any given time. I will respond ASAP.
I hold the right to request payment up front or after a commission.
Payment is only accepted in USD via PayPal. If there are any transaction fees, you must pay them.
You may post your commission on any website, only as long as you give credit to me.
I will always provide commissioners a W.I.P. state of their commission, any time they ask for a progress report.
I have the right to charge extra for any part of a commission. Check my Commissions Tab for what I do charge for.
You must acknowledge and agree to these terms before commissioning me.
