Where I have I been? And current/future plans?
General | Posted 11 years agoSo for the few who watch me or visit my page may notice I haven't done a whole lot in about a month which was not long after I made my FA account in the first place. So to start, where did I go and did I abandon FA? No, I am still new and need time to get around something new to me like FA, meeting new people, artists, ect. I would love to delve into more FA related stuff from here on.
A lot of big life events have just happened to take place in the last month or so, was kept busy with the fun of school finals and whatnot -_- then I went and graduated from high school which was a pretty big deal, and from there alot of time blends together. Finished school, spent much time with friends and family in celebration of my graduating. Started my first real job working 2-4 days a week with every shift being 6 hours long. All of that in addition to piano lessons and church related things. Then just returned from a family vacation lasting over a week. Topping it all off with one of the biggest best things to happen to me, or rather a certain person ^.^
So yah, to some may not seem like much but I am used to doing a whole lot of nothing cx this is a lot of change to deal with at once hence why I just stopped getting on FA for all this time.
So current plans then: A friend Iridiumwolf and I plan to start up our own podcast sometime soon on Soundcloud. I am also planning to start doing much more art both in the interest of passion and improvement. I plan to give myself some time to try improving both my drawing as well as painting on the computer and then host a commission raffle to try and get an idea of what its like to commission as well as gain some watchers for the next goal: which is to host a long fundraiser for my special someone so she may look into schools for her future. The funds would be done through commissions of course, and would primarily be done for the purpose to help fund her as well as give me some rep and the chance to better myself in something I love doing :)
So that is all, but I would encourage and ask people to please give me a chance and a watch as while right now I may seem like a dead page I do have plans to try and change that as much as possible. Any watches ect. would be very appreciated and beneficial in the interest of the future raffle and fundraiser I plan to hold, or even the podcast for anyone interested in that. Spreading the word to anyone interested in these idea is also very much appreciated.
Thats all for now, no times are set in stone yet and some may not for awhile but the ideas themselves I am very serious about pursuing and as time goes on I will be posting updates on everything and probably more. -Solverien

Art tools
General | Posted 11 years agoAlright so this is my first journal and a very simple one, art tools.
So I am used to drawing on paper but with my last picture Solverien for my profile I used Deviant Art Muro.
Now I really like DAMuro, its a nice free easy to use program and I will probly use it for a little while so I can get used to painting with a mouse on the computer (I don't own a tablet) but if there are better programs I would to love to hear about them. Now I have been given the suggestion to use Paint tool SIA I believe is what it was which is not free but can be ummm acquired so thats not an issue x) However if anyone has other suggestions or links to places where I could get SIA or other paint tools that would be greatly appreciated.
Also while I am on the subject any tips on Muro or painting on the computer in general are very welcome, I am kind of a noob but I enjoy drawing immensely and would love nothing more than to improve. :P
