I'm enjoying having the week off from work and catching up with rest and some doodles.
Not only am I able to draw for myself for a bit, but also some ko-fi donations that came my recently! Thank you!

Hope you all are resting during winter break! I'm trying to myself. Honestly, I've been super stressed working so hard, I'm hoping that this break will give me some breathing room.

So a month into the school year and I'm freaking tired! All is good for the most part, but exhausting: both physically and mentally. Which seems just par for the course ^^;;

My class is great and they are bright! Still learning the school routine though. Taking night certification classes is tough! I'm so exhausted and praying my brain absorbs all that info!

I miss doodling. (Like more than what I do on my notes.) And migraines are a bit more frequent thanks to exhaustion/stress.

I know despite these hurdles, I'm gonna push through and make it. June looks far, but it's around the corner.

Summer certification classes are over and soon I'll be in the classroom co teaching 3rd grade later this month! I'm both nervous and excited. I'm still in the process of moving on top of it all. So all the good and bad stress are adding up to more migraine attacks to recover from. It's really put a dent on my art output. I've managed a few stray doodles, but nothing major yet. Hi! So the past couple months have been a whirlwind of both good and bad stress.

The good: got vouchers for my Praxis tests and I got 2 more to take before starting my Teacher Residency Program. And I got selected for my town's district. So easier transportation to worm.

The stress: still looking for a new place to live. I got an extension, but no idea for how long.

Anything helps with moving costs and bills. As migraines have been increasing due to all this stress. I have at least 1 or 2 commissions slots open too.

Rent has been scraping my expenses more than ever lately. I definitely need to fund my certification classes to be able to get a better teaching job and to do more than stay afloat all the time. For example, I might have to pay close to $200 for a Praxis test! That's close to what I pay in rent. And I haven't found any vouchers for the test.

I'm so happy! I was able to get my first dose of my Covid19 vaccine! My doctor went over the updates and ingredients again and he said it was safe. It went through without a hitch, thank God! Just had to carry my benadryl and EpiPen with me as usual. That was a great birthday present lol. So I'll be fully vaccinated soon! Hopefully this will make getting a job a bit easier. But I still have to take extra precautions. Work from home would be the best choice.

Hi there folks!

Hope you all have been doing more thriving and less than just surviving!

I've been doing better with chronic migraines, thanks to the seasons changing to a more stable temperature. It's made making art easier and more fun!

Still looking for a regular job. It's been hard to find anything, except endless rejection letters and temporary contract work. It can be pretty taxing at times. Food allergies really don't make groceries any cheaper. T-T

So in the spirit of optimism and good health- commissions are still open! I don't have a slot limit: they get done, they get done! The only ones on hold are traditional watercolor, until I find better shipping methods.

I'm pretty flexible on what I will draw! Humans, anthro, traditional animals, cartoon, etc... Some gore is ok, so is artistic nudity.

What I WON'T draw is: abuse and NSFW. If you're unsure, just ask me!I'm super approachable! I don't shame folks, I just don't draw some stuff for personal and professional reasons. (Listen I am an art teacher for kids most times)

Like a lot of folks, thanks to the dreaded Rona, I'm dealing with being furloughed/unemployed. As an art teacher, I can't be face to face with my students any more since many are now at their group homes staying safe. My unemployment benefits are about to run out and I don't qualify for an extension. As I'm trying to get work as a virtual teacher/tutor, I do need to get by.

I had a ton of fun doing free sketches for kids! Despite having a migraine the whole time, their smiles were worth it! I am super grateful to all the kids, parents, and fans that came by to request a sketch and buy art.
