YCH and Alan are out, currently shopping with the boy wanting to come along. He spots a large bag of candycorn and rushes over to YCH with it.

If you dare ever "provoke" him when he feels touch-starved or cuddly, such as motioning him over or yelling excitedly for him, he'll react.. In an interesting way.
What's that response, you say? Well, it involves gripping your shoulders tightly and eagerly, lifting you up, and scarfing you down whole in a gluttonous manner (cooing and pleased owl noises included <3)

So yeah! Be careful of him.. He'll be gentle, of course. But will be very hesitant to let you go, responding with "Coo.. Coo.. No..! Mine.. For.. Five more hours" before proceeding to lovingly cradle his current cargo within his jiggling paunch. That Walter, I tell you.. He's one loving owl. I'll know.. -w-"

What if I randomly gave Alan godlike abilities?
Basically, what happens if you give someone naive and young the abilities only mortals could dream of achieving?

It would be him mostly acting the same, but probably screaming once or twice a day after something random explodes after a silly phrase he chanted.

I guess he would have the classic godly invincibility, ability to float, etc! Just.. Would not understand the abilities themselves. Or maybe use them to just have childish fun!

Alan: "Donut?"

Reader/YCH: "No thanks, do you have any fruit?"

Proceeds to bite the donut, splattering jelly everywhere in front of him and crying afterwards.

Random outbursts of short crying or yelling are normal. He's either very surprised or actually terrified.

Alan LOVES silly straws. If you give him one, he'll probably think you're basically offering to be his best friend. Because he will be a very happy boy

Alan does indeed have asthma. It often will kick in randomly, making him breathe in an odd manner often. But it definitely kicks in when he runs or is very active. Thankfully, asthma attacks do not occur often.

(If you haven't caught on, Alan has the symptoms and things I am diagnosed with. He is basically me but.. Not me after all)

Alan thinks that "Rotisserie chicken" is a funny word/sentence

Planning on maybe giving Alan a possible twin sister or brother.. I wonder. Does that sound like a good idea?

They both will have counter opposite personalities, Alan being the quiet and meek one. While the twin will be energetic and always wanting to drag Alan around with them. The two will be inseparable and always spend their days exploring space and many places within a strange space ship.. One that has the ability to provide for their safety and give them food somehow.. But hey! At least it takes care of the cute little twins..

He's not exactly the best at walking. Often walking in the way a toddler would or someone learning to walk.

He CAN walk and stand technically, it's just really common for him to trip while running or simply tripping over something.

He.. Experiences a lot of little bruises on him >.<

Alan was wandering around in a small patch of flowers on top of what looked like the highest hill amongst many others surrounding him. It looked like he was in the middle of a never-ending outstretched grassy plains.. He looked happy though, leaning down to smell the flowers

"Ahh.. They look pretty AND smell nice.. These really are amazing.."

He isn't exactly smart and is often a boy who struggles to understand basic topics or ideas.
In short

Alan is dyslexic and doesn't have fun when it comes to learning since he struggles to often do so. Though he only was born with it. (according to a origin story for him I am writing)

So if he often confuses you, just understand that he is indeed dyslexic.
Or you're the buffoon here, and he's just speaking gibberish in a way you may not understand.

Alan finds it extremely difficult to open up anything packaged, like a bag of chips for example.

He'll go at it for a few minutes, until..
He gives up entirely and might begin to cry. Either that, or he'll go up to someone and ask for them to open it for him.

He's.. Not the smartest >~<

He often fears one thing most of the time, as it is a greater fear than most other things he is afraid of.

The thing he is scared of? The thought of people who love him and who he loves suddenly going violent or out of control against him, or just out of control in general. He feels so safe around them, but what if they begin to try hurting him or act unusually?

That will definitely leave him shocked and crying..

One major fear of Alan's is the darkness. His eyes aren't the best when it comes to vision as is, but not able to even see what is in the dark scares him a lot.

Another list of fears is the deep water.
The fear of immense and huge heights.
And especially the fear of being alone.

Exposure to one of these few fears will cause him to cry for sure. qwq

A habit of Alan's can be biting his own hair, specially the tips of his bangs.

This happens due to the fact its more of a stress reason, or when he is anxious. Often times when he bites his hair, the tips are actually bitten off.

This doesn't help with the fact that he does often shed a few hairs qwq

Keeping warm is a priority for the boy! If he's cold, he's uncomfortable. But if he's warm, he's a harlmess little giggly baby boy.. He just wants comfort and warmth. So if you see him trembling.. Wrap him up like a good little blanket burrito and snuggle him.. Hehe, or gobble him up and give tummy cuddles! X3

When Alan gets excited or happy, he may make spastic and sudden movements, his legs tapping the floor, his hands twitching a bit, or excessively giggling.

He often does this due to the fact he deals with ADHD, so he'll be often unable to sit still in general.

(The leg twitching is actually a tic from it too)
