I'm addicted to textural sensory input... Like bad lol. And all I want right now is something soft and fluffy that I can wrap myself in and run my fingers through... I definitely joined the right fandom lol.

So, I'm getting to the point where I'm pretty ready to start having things drawn up. Since this is a brand new character I'm assuming commissioning someone is a bit different. So any suggestions, our guidance on how to go about it from more experienced people would be awesome!

That you made an ass out of yourself when drinking but don't quite recollect what all happened? Or am I the only uber paranoid person? I had a great time meeting new furries, and getting to know the ones I've met better at  marblesbravetail's party. Can't wait to spend more time with you guys! And I promise I'm not usually that schwasted face.

Kinda hope my party goes well, so cross your fingers.

So it was down to 2 choices... A chinchilla, or a Pomeranian... While I realize I can have both, I think I'll start with the Pom. The biggest pro for going with the Pom first is what  marblesbravetail

It's going to be way easier for an artist to commission.

When I eventually go with the chinchilla I want it to have the snow leopard markings like  kaothewolf (yeah, I'm sappy like that, I thought it'd be adorable).

With the Pom it needs to really embody me. My first love is the 50s, so she needs to be a redhead (like me) and do the pinup hair and stuff... And since this can be anything I want, she is also going to have way bigger boobs than I do (wink).

Now I just need to think what to name her...

Anywho... This is my first time doing this so any input any of you have would be awesome!

Also, off subject, Trainwreck Thursday was a bust. I had one margarita and went to bed lol.

In honor of my birthday Friday, I'm getting the party started early with Trainwreck Thursday! I'm getting drunk at 5 am, and for the next 48 hours I'm answering any questions you have honestly, and to the best of my ability. Viva la tequila!

So like the whole 3 of you I've met in person (yes I know it's more), might have noticed I do the pinup thing. Like, the 50s pinup thing, as I understand that also has a different definition on here...
Anyway, an acquaintance of mine who is a photographer has been after me for some time to do a photo shoot and I've finally decided to do it. I'm pretty excited, I figure it'll give me something to focus on during my down time. It's still a bit weird to me, like my face has been used for a tattoo, but still, it's a pretty big boost to what had been a flagging ego, so cross your fingers I don't look like an idiot lol.

So I got a new album of Ellie Goulding's, and this one song I can't stop listening to... It seriously speaks to me... Anyway, thought I'd share. I was going to just post up my favorite bits, but frankly there are too many lol. So I just made bold the particularly stand out portions.

So... Uh... ~insert awkward silence~

I hope anyone reading this can bear with me (does that count as a furry joke? Ok, that was the actual joke), I'm incredibly new, and thus fantastically awkward. I'm not usually so, and once I figure this whole thing out I'm sure I'll be as socially fluid as I normally am.

I owe 2 people in particular, and one group as a whole for bringing me here.  kaothewolf, my amazing hubby, and  marblesbravetail, who I had the pleasure of meeting recently, and the aforementioned group being  trianglefurs, whose State Fair meetup allowed me to meet several members of the group.

The group was incredibly warm and welcoming, even when I just stood somewhat shyly behind Kao and blinked with silent curiosity at them all. I suppose it helped when I noticed I was getting much of that back. However once the ice was broken everyone proved to be open, generous, and friendly. I spent much of my night talking to Marbles (who graciously opened her home to us) about the fandom and asking her questions. She fulfilled a lot of my curiosity, as I was bursting with questions I'd always wanted to ask.

It was a great experience that made me some new friends, opened my eyes a bit more to a new world, and allowed me to bond with my new hubby on a whole new level...

The only foreseeable roadblock at this time is my obsession with texture sensory input... I stole one of those furry hat things from Kao and spent most of the time wearing it by petting myself.... This might prove problematic with fursuiting

Anyway, I suppose that will do for an opener...

As a post script: I enjoy intellectual conversations, walks on the beach, and a finely aged wine... And beerpong... I forgot about the beerpong... Wait, or are those details you add on a dating site profile? I always get confused.
