Writing Commissions Are Open!
Posted 4 years agoHey, just wanted to make the formal announcement here. I've said this on a few Discord servers, but I am in-fact open for Writing Commissions at this point. I'm trying to keep the workload balanced for now, so for my own workload's sake, I'm keeping work divided into 3k word 'slots'. This is entirely a 'me' side visualization of my workload, you just order how many words you want and I figure out how many slots your comm will take up. Once I'm full, I'll announce it.
You can submit your request using this form. I charge $1.50 per 200 words, with a 800 word minimum and a 9000 word maximum. That ends up being roughly $6 per page (800 words is roughly 1 page of 11pt Arial at 1/2" margins with no paragraph spacing). I charge per word, not per page, so that's just a good benchmark. I do up-charge for research and explicit sex scenes, those are explained on my Commissions tab and the form itself. I'm willing to do possession, mind control, transformation, suiting, and corruption as go-tos. Other things, I will evaluate on a case-by-case basis.
You've already seen two of my commissioned writing works, and I have another on the way. I'm very pleased with how these have turned out. I've been hesitant for a long time on actually doing something like this, but I'm glad I made the jump! I do work full-time, so don't expect these to come out at a fast pace, but I do look forward to peoples' ideas!

New Year, New Projects!
Posted 5 years agoBeen a crazy year, hasn't it? I have a full-time job again, but I do still plan on doing a few projects. I'm going to try to be more serious about them. I put this here to kind of make a declaration of intent. These are just minimum items I want to hit, I may post more often than this. And I won't beat myself up if I fail to hit them.
* One new Adopt, Colored Sketch/Ink, or Lined Sketch Art every two weeks
* Being more on top of my commission uploads, posting at least one item in my archive every week until my backlog is done
* Posting new stories. These are all in a part-time basis, but I'd like to post the equivalent of 3 pages every 2 weeks. So if it's been 4 weeks, if I post a story it should be 6 pages long. I have two Victory Vixen Universe stories in the works, and I still have Remy-verse stories in the works. I want to post the first 14 pages of my story sometime soon. I have 7 pages written.
* Posting a primer to the Remy-verse setting and give it a name other than Remy-verse
I'd also like to start making my own sketches to line, but I keep hitting a wall that's more emotional than ability wise. I can't seem to bring myself to practicing it since I've found a comfort zone in coloring. I want to try to overcome this barrier, but I'm not setting a goal for myself other than declaring my intent.
My new works will be branded with my Aether Productions logo, and I may make an account split to separate personal works from commissions (and potentially things people have commissioned me to do if I open up commissions). If I do, I'll drop a journal and an art piece announcing it. Speaking of commissions, I've opened up writing commissions! I'm limiting them to 3000 words to start, but I may go for more over time.
If you made it this far in my journal, thank you so much and I hope your 2021 is better than your 2020.

BLM Charity Stream pic uploads
Posted 5 years agoBack in June, I decided to help
McCrazy with a Black Lives Matter charity stream they were running. McCrazy was giving a sketch to everyone that submitted a reciept for giving to a charity at least $5. I decided to sweeten the deal: $10+ and I'd ink the sketch. $15+ and I'd color it, too. The stream went excellently. All in all, I ended up inking 11 pics and coloring 9 of them, some for people that donated twice over.
I've been holding onto these pics, and I'd like to show them off. So over the next day or two, I'm going to be posting these pics on a schedule so its not just a barrage of pics all at once. All of the pics that will be posted as a result were created by McCrazy for a variety of different people that donated over the stream.
I hope you enjoy :)

Starting Adoptables
Posted 5 years agoSo this is something I've thought about doing for a while. I'm going to start making adopts, and the first one is already out. You can see my list of adoptables that I have and will be making here.
This is something that I've only just started doing, so any suggestions or recommendations for starting this out, feel free to let me know. I don't plan on making this a constant thing that I pump out, but I do plan on making it a semi-regular thing on top of my output of commissioned and collaborative pieces plus my own writing.
Remember if you're in the US, please make sure to stay inside if you can. If you must go out, wear a mask. And regularly wash your hands. And thank you everyone, I'm so glad people seem to be enjoying the ideas I've put out.

Jen Foxworth needs some help
Posted 5 years agoJen goes over this in her journal here, but basically she needs to get a large amount of money together to be able to put a lawyer on retainer in order to prove her ex is lying about her situation with her children. He's currently claimed custody over them under false pretenses. Her GoFundMe is here. Please do what you can to help if at all possible.
Thank you
Thank you
Let's Try Something: Ask My Characters Anything
Posted 5 years agoI wanna try doing this. I have a whole bunch of unnamed characters, but if you look, I have a bunch of folders in my gallery for a variety of different OCs, some of which I haven't done anything with in a while, some I'm still developing. If they have a name, go for it!
For clarity, there are like... Three major versions of Dusk and two versions of Doctor Justine Vulpine. Distinguish them by appending their setting to their name. The 'generic' version would just be their name. As an example, you could list their name like:
VV-Verse Dusk
Remy-Verse Dusk / Remy-Verse Dr. Vulpine
Dusk Penumbra / Dr. Vulpine
Please no RP questions.

Upload Deficit
Posted 5 years agoWell, things have been... Rather crazy lately, huh?
Well, don't you worry, I've still been doing stuff. Maybe not as much writing as I'd like, but I have been busy commissioning artists and practicing my inking and coloring skills. Over the next few days, I'm going to be uploading a bit of my backlog. That includes things I've written that I haven't posted, things I've had commissioned that artists haven't posted, as well as things I've inked and/or colored from sketches and line art I've commissioned. I'll make it clear in the title by putting the following in the title:
[COMM] if its just a re-post of a commissioned work
[ADOPTED] if it is an adoptable that I purchased
[INK] if I've lined a sketch
[INK+COLOR] if I lined and colored a sketch
[COLOR] if it was given to me as line art and I colored it in
I may post adoptables in the future, not sure. I have been practicing my skills for coloring and shading. Its something I'm looking into. If I do, they will be labeled [ADOPTABLE]
Thanks, and stay safe. Remember:
Wash your hands
Don't touch your face
Don't go out unless you absolutely must
If you do, make sure you wear a cloth mask

A Lesson in Networking: DDoS Attacks
Posted 11 years agoI've seen a couple comments in the aftermath of the massive DDOS attack that went down a few days ago, and I figured... Hey. I've got degrees in this. Maybe I should inform some people about this in case they don't know. So, here's a few comments on what a DDOS is, what it does and what can be done about it:
1.) I'm so pissed off! The site went down again, and for days! I don't know what a DDoS is, but it has to be FA's fault!
Hold your horses, there, bucko. A DDoS, Distributed Denial of Service, has nothing to do with the website. It is an attack. Basically, there's thousands and thousands of computers out there that have been infected with a program. This program does nothing but sit there until it receives a command. And then, once it gets that command, it sends out an endless stream of pings to that server. What is a ping? It is a simple command that anybody with access to a command prompt can do. Its purpose is to determine if an address is there and how long it took to get there. Here's the thing, though: You can put a large amount of empty data in these ping requests... And that takes up bandwidth. Sure enough, if you have thousands and thousands of people sending pings with large amounts of empty data, you eat up all their available bandwidth. And that, while not shutting down the server, makes it so people cannot access the website!
2.) Pings? Can't those things be blocked? Just block those things!
Yeah, that does sound reasonable at first. But think of it like a popular club, and that firewall doing the blocking is a bouncer. It lets everyone who wants to ping the server or access the webpage into the club and denies most other guests... But all those guests still have to get in line before the bouncer throws them out. And if you suddenly have a lot of people that represent ping requests in the line, it doesn't matter if the bouncer throws them out of the club, they're still taking up space in the line!
3.) Wow... So what can be done about it?
Not much by the person who runs the server, unfortunately. At most, they can contact their ISP and tell them what's going on. And then the ISP has to deny those PING requests to that server before those pings even get a CHANCE to get in line. And that takes time. Especially if the person running the attack is smart and they switch up where the pings come from at random intervals.
4.) DDoS is OP! Can just ANYBODY do this?
Yes. Yes it is. And yes you can. It is very illegal, but also very hard to trace, especially since the people who run these bot farms that run the DDoS attacks are often overseas.
So, all a DDoS is... Is a crap ton of pings, all going at your server all at once, enough to eat up all of your available bandwidth. Hard to trace, easy to execute. Crap like this happens all the time as a result. Do not blame FA for this outage, there was very little they could do about it.

Jen Trade Response
Posted 14 years agoApparently my trade with
Jen-Foxworth has gotten me a little attention, and now people are wanting to either commission or trade with me. I'm gonna come out and say this now: I'm not going to do commissions unless things are 100% custom, and if I do that, it'd be a HUGE time and effort commitment on my part. I'm not sure I'm quite ready for that yet. But, I am willing to do trades. That's what I did for Jen, and that's what I'm offering other people if you really, really want something like I did for her. If you want something, give me a note. I will try to give you a response if I have time, and not all trade offers will be accepted. This is going to be on a case-by-case basis while I figure out how comfortable I am with this.
Thanks for your time.
