Posted 6 years agoalright, after thinking it over a bit. I'm reopening commissions but only taking 3 commissions, and fair warning, this will be a raffle style selection.
what do i mean by this? well to keep thing simple as this is a first time, just comment your name below, after a day or when i will stop accepting commissions i'll get a RNG application to pick out the winners and they will be messaged about details for their commission.
I had thought about first come first serve, but with the amount of times I've heard people tell me "I'll be first in line to get a comm from you" or "i'll be waiting for you to open for comms" has gotten into the dozens and more. I'm only taking 3 as prior i burned myself out too much on top of other things in life, i still hold the same rules and guidelines as before.

Posted 6 years agoi still owe 1 last thing from my last commisison batch, but in the hindsight of everything and still getting it done at a snail's pace i wanna reopen but in a smaller batch instead of taking on 5 comms at a time, just 3 at most again and to set myself to get it done before a month's time, after that well i guess means i gotta figure out why i am not doing things right.
but yeah, thinking about that again but it wouldn't be first come first serve since i learned a lotta people have been waiting, it'll likely be a raffle system where you put your name in the comments of a journal, after the end of the day people get picked and if you are picked to be ready to receive a note about it and exactly what you want in return.

Posted 6 years agoalright, it's been a while since i uploaded, but i'm going to upload in small bursts, not 1 mass dump. it'll be over the next few days, so no worries, still working on things, but also need to upload something even in my off times.
Life Update: Moved into a new home now, All Set up
Posted 7 years agoas the title explains, we found a new home near last minute, we moved everything as much as we couldin a day or two, and as of now we're still unpacking, but we did it. a week later we're settled in at the least, but now it does't leave me much else to say but to apologize for everything as of late going on and me going quiet. life isn't easy but my behaviors are not excusable neither. Sorry for everything.
Life Update: So we lost the case (?)
Posted 7 years agoat the moment it seems in mid november things happened, first response basically we got was we lost the case against the landlord, since the situation i mentioned 3 months ago was just that. we hadn't found a home yet neither, which was to my dismay, on top of that we missed the court date because of a miscommunication. parents have gone back to appeal it, but as of now we lost and i am not the most hopeful for moments when it comes to this. We are fined as well, just know it's plenty.
So as of now finshing up a very weak school semester and then getting back to art some more, despite all the slow progress and moments i wanted to draw for myself, ic an't do that always because i do have responsibilities with art.
As said, people are welcomed to refunds since i failed to meet quotas. Apologizes

Life Update: Likely Move Soon, Things are Fine
Posted 7 years agoalright, so the last 2 weeks has been stress with the end of the 60 days coming up, though parents after consulting advisors and a lawyer, seems if we are to sue we are in the right. Needless to say i can calm down a bit though the streams will likely continue once things settle down.
To those that still are waiting on their pics from stream I'm sorry though you can still receive a refund if the wait isn't worth it anymore, I am trying to get it done while not falling behind on school but also packing up things to get moving and the like. It's a lot of ups and downs and I apologize.

Upcoming Doodle Stream: Oct 6th at 9 AM PST
Posted 7 years agowith the doodle stream from from last Saturday being rather well received..abet with a slow start in the beginning, it went over rather well and I want to do it again for the same situation of fund raising a bit in case worst comes to worst with the moving situation.
There will be a change in the initial pricing though, it will be bumped from $8 a doodle to $10 a doodle, just to round off the fact there is a paypal fee to take care of overall. Extra characters still are $4 extra, but with a Max. of 2 character per doodle.
Down the line I might open up the option for Sketch level quality (example here https://www.furaffinity.net/view/25383076 ) down the road if i find there to be success with producing art while in stream.
"In order to be entered into the raffles, you must note me with commission information on FA. Once I am ready, I will randomly select X amount of people and send them invoices if they are present at name call.

Posted 7 years agoalright..the weekend has passed and some of my worry went away a bit, but it did ruined my peace of mind over the weekend. Things mixed up and more so trying to just inform my professors of this and see what is manageable int he time being, or worse that i get behind a lot on schoolwork.
Regardless, Since parents are going to get a lawyer to uphold the original 60-day eviction notice, we are gonna stay in here a while longer, but it doesn't mean we'll stop packing up until then. Life be strange for sure.
Now as for the Doodle Stream, it's still as a test run, i might get cold feet so to speak, but I am gonna try and make ti work, same rules and guidelines as before are upheld here. Picarto link for the stream will be provided below.

Postponing Doodle Stream..
Posted 7 years agoLife has a way of being funny. Last night it swwms my parents received a 3 day eviction notice. It says pay rent or leave basically and we are in a bind The notice was marked The 19th of September and furthermore we know this was given to us ahead of thw original 60 day notice. Near a month ago I made a journal about us having to move in 2 months, now it is pushed up to now. So my parents are likely going to try and fight it with a lawyer but if worst comes to worst we have to move out immediately. We dont have another home at the moment and timing has been very bad.
So sorry guys, right now with the uncertainty of having internet or a roof over mt head I need to postpone the stream until later. California isn't cheap to renr a home iven our income and more so on such short notice.

I want to try a Doodle Comm Stream

Classwork and Commissions have been getting harder and harder to find time to do both for, but the weight of knowing we are moving in less than a month is getting to me. I want to have a bit saved up before then incase the worst happens. So I want to test run a Doodle Stream this weekend. What’s a Doodle? Well for most artists, doodles for me are essentially the rough sketches, examples are the following:

I am going to do 3 spots, possibly 4 if I have time. You can not reserve spots before the stream, you have to be present.

Update: Return to College and 2 Months to Move
Posted 7 years agowell to make it simple, the title of the journal is what is going on in ym life currently, just on monday the 20th i started college again, finally after 4 years of college i got animation classes i wanted for so long, no Gen Ed classes keeping me from getting there...and on the opposite end of things, sadly, i learned my family is being told we have 2 months to move out of our home.
Things went from good, to bad to complicated, things are going off everywhere and I want to re-open commissions soon or do some sort of event,a growth drive, just something honesty. I can't stand idle and let things happen without helping. I tried as well looking for a summer job and I had no success sadly, 3 months and only a handful of interviews and nothing past that.
So, stay tuned folks.

Update: Just another Art Rut
Posted 7 years agoat this point it seems getting out of college for the summer wasn't a push in the right direction with art, now it's the opposite. i felt less with art as well as i have been job hunting for the situation at home, I don't like making excuses i wanna be on top of things but forcing it isn't something i can mentally do now as much as i tried.
Before in college, i had no time but all the focus just to draw and practice, now that I'm out, i have all the time, but no focus. it's gone, like something that tells me i been wanting to draw for so long is gone. My mind has been overthinking, feeling too many things and worse been self-guilting myself. I need to find ways to relax or to keep myself busy, i need to take care of me but i don't wanna give up art, i don't wanna fall behind.
I think i may issue refunds if commissioners are accepting or willing to wait some more. I hate it when things like this happen in a dire situation, i just wish i did better before and now.

Still on top of all that, I am going to be looking for work for the summer and so forth, It's not really an easy task that's for sure, but if something can come along that can at least put a bit less stress on the household but i know ultimately it'll leave a lot to be desired.

[Feedback] What if I did a Growth Drive?
Posted 7 years agosummer is coming up..things at home haven't been any easier, I can tell you that much, college is almost over and I need to find work, but the issue is that things at home are issues that need immediate solutions more or less, job hunting will take a bit longer until I can finally find a job, doesn't matter what I need the experience.
So i guess one thing I can suggest or been suggested doing is a growth drive as well as donations. In the past i made a joke about growth drives that a lot of the people that run it do it with no reason but in recent times i've accept if people want to see growth, then growth shall be made.
So i suppose i should ask my viewers if I do one, then would you support it? As well, who would be the one or ones to grow? I already have an idea, but I also wanna ask my watchers as well.

Posted 8 years agothe title says all really, im back in college, classes resumed, it does mean that commisison will slow a bit but i do not want it to be as bad as last time to where it was 4 months delay...i really do not want to repeat that, i will continue work on them for sure inbetween classes and when im not doing classwork. If any of my commissions do wanna discuss it or get an update on progress, you all are welcomed to do so.

Heads Up: thinking of Opening Commissions Weds. PST
Posted 8 years agoalright guys, this has been a long time coming but, i am thinking of re-opening commissions soon now, i am now out on winter break and do wanna get some work in in that time before i get sucked back into the vortex that is called College on the 22th. Now, i still owe commissions to people, but I am getting close to finish them and they still get first priority over any new commissions i receive from re-opening. Understood?
I will be posting an image when i do officially open when i wake up on that day. You must send a note when i open if you want a slot.

Current payment policy: Pay upfront in full or half of the commission costs and the rest when the commission is completed. If at any time you want to cancel/ask for a refund, depending on how much progress has been made you'll receive your full refund, unless the art has reached a certain level of progression where time must be compensated.

Posted 8 years agogod..it feels it's been slow after september. Lately i been having my midterms and first exams for this semester and boy was it rough as is, a few assignments getting on top of me and commissions being put in the backburner to get my homework and assignments done but i hate the feeling of owing people, ir eally do, but then there's also the fact im dealing with a financial situation again with the bank, so blegh on that!
Now, the deal still stands with my commissioners
If at any point you feel the need to check up on me or are no longer satisfied with lil progress made, you have the right to a refund or to try and get me to talk to me to figure out a solution for your work
I sitll have sketches to work on and present and i need to get bak in communication with my comissioner from August to see if still wanting work done or to drop it entirely, it's just stress on my end since college comes first, but i wanna art so badly too.

Comms for School Supplies Needed [CLOSED]
Posted 8 years agoAlrighty, so classes are resuming now and the supplies list are coming in now. Imma need to be honest here, and I do need to make enough commissions to cover least for the first week or two, so that is the reason I am reopening right now.
There is a catch though because of school supplies, if you do decide to commission me right now I will ask you to pay upfront, you will have 7 days from getting your slot to give payment. I need you to have your idea ready to give to me and I need you to be very clear and concise with your commission. I Do Not Work Well with Little or No Information. The More Info you Give, the Easier It Will Make It For Me To Get It Done
If there is conditions to be done or met for you while doing your commission, please advise me ahead of time as well. I will attempt to be in contact regularly, but with college classes it may or may not cause issues with getting work done.
BUT, those that have commissioned me last month and I still owe you commissions, you WILL receive your commissions as promised, unless you wish to change or discuss further the details of said commissions or cancel if displeased with the waiting. August has been the worst month for me as of yet emotionally and artistically with issues at home and with myself, I can never apologize enough, but i want to let you all know about this and have the choice of still waiting for me or not.

Posted 8 years agoi feel, i have been falling behind more and more with my art this month and even then my reasons for it, are rather stupid when others can do more simply by doing so than getting mentally locked.
(TL:DR my head needs privacy and I haven't been feeling good lately, also School starts in a month.)
in our house, we got used furniture (Bed frames specifically) so it means we have to rearrange the bedroom so we can put it in, it also means moving around the desk, the drawers, etc. for anyone, this sounds normal, though for me, since i share a room with my brother of 18 years, i lose my place of privacy. I use the desk, and had it so the screen is hidden from view and i had my back to the wall. I'm unable to do that now since before without bed frames, we just lifted the beds, and there was space, now there is a set area to put things in, so you can't move and rearrange things easily.
I tried sitting on my bed, though that's not very comfortable or levels to my liking, i often cut circulation to my legs for some reason or another. I tried having the desk rotated so i can it on my bed and have it facing the wall, but the off set elevator makes things uncomfortable and having to push the screen far back enough that others can see makes me uncomfortable. It doesn't help that has a craptop (laptop that is stupid slow and near unusable) so he often uses the laptop when I'm asleep and even after i wake up. Still, it's minecraft or other games, but i don't bother to get him off, I'm not really demanding/assertive, and that is my fault but what else can I do when it happens again? even then if he's on, what can I do? he's around i can't draw when he's around I just do other non-productive things. I wanna tell him already get your own damn laptop, just save up for an entry-level laptop and get on with it. Even if i had the room to myself, in the daytime there are still others. there is my littlest brother of 8 years, he wants attention or anything really, as a child wants, but i wanna do other things, i feel i need to get my work done first before giving him any time and even then..my patience for this kid has worn thin. it's my own fault, but i can't stand him anymore. i know my parents say I was exactly the same to make me built up tolerance, but it doesn't work. even I can't stand myself. if not him, then parents will need something from me, i have to do something for them online, call a number, send a fax, fix their phone, make sure the wifi works, etc. In the daytime there is that lingering feeling of "the moment i start, someone will want something from me" the moment i put the pen to the tablet, someone comes in. it seems to happen often if not regularly, so that feeling isn't justified and it bugs me. it's why i shifted my sleep to night times when out of classes, but parents hated it enough to just threatening cutting off the Internet or just me from things, so i had to fix my sleep according to them. Nighttime would've been my most productive times, now it's for sleep. ah well, life is life.
To add on, I've been feeling bad in my mind, it stems from my lack of productivity, the feeling of not meeting my standards, not keeping up with demand (Commissions not started/pending payments), the feeling of stress from feeling I'm behind on life knowing it's my own laziness and procrastination that put me there and the fact people telling me to do things only deteriorates me more, the fact I can't say no at times, and the feelings of envy creeping up on me. I know it's envy because i learned the definitions put in between envy and jealousy. A mini lesson: Envy is a two person situation where Jealousy is a three person situation. Envy is the feeling when you lack what someone else has, Jealousy is when you feel threatened someone else will take something you have.
these things really...well, it's my own fault for getting these things, i know we are all human in the end, it makes me grumpy, made, irritable, depressed, etc. It doesn't help anyone out and I don't know how to relax in any way.
People say to go for a walk, but i keep thinking there, people say go to the movies, i don't have money or am trying to save up for something else with what i made, people say play a game and i only ever play one nowadays and I don't have the luxury of others to play new or consoles games. it sucks i suppose, but even trying to play something, i can't seems to relax. in life i feel I'm heaving further and further behind since parents still try to get me to drive and get a license while i don't feel the need for it right now, but i should. my brother found a job while i haven't since commissions but now that commissions have slowed down a lot..well, it's not good on my mind either thinking I'm getting behind while my brother is going ahead. I've been told it's not a race, but it's near impossible to think it otherwise.
School, or University, College, whatever the term is, for me will start again at the near end of August on the 21st, it will be a return to form i suppose, but with more added stress knowing myself and my work ethnics. I'm not a good student, I will always say that, unless there is a class that interests me and that I will invest time in, I will more than likely just barely pass a class. I had that issue with general education and still holding on somehow. I've been advised to take full time courses, and now I am. 12 units, 4 classes, 4 days a week in the afternoon/evening. I have maybe 2 art classes, 2 Gen. Ed classes, only 1 of them really is interesting in me and that is Intro to Digital Modeling. after...2-3 years now? i lost count it feels like forever since I started, i got my first Hands-On animation course, that is as close as I'll get to 3d for the time being, and i want it to be worth it, but my impressions of the college say to me it's just a bare bones class, but what you make of it is what you get out of it, just get your degree and get out. That's I'll I'm trying to do now, and i have to keep up. I owe a lot to people don't I, and stilll the worst case for dropping out is a majorly disappointed pair of parents, and if my mother is still serious regarding near a year ago, she will kick me out of home.
Stress, it lingers a lot doesn't it? why isn't it a good motivator?
To those that commissioned me, I will try to get to work if you had paid me or given me work to do, if you wish to drop your commission slot because taking too long with no progress shown, please let me know and I will pass it on to someone else if someone wants a commission from me knowing the situation.

Alright...this feels weird saying this but yeah... I'm accepting new commissions. It's been a while, but trying to get into it more as well as trying to use my time off school to make something as well or save up or repay things overall. I still feel I don't know how to do this right..but here I go.

Thinking about Reopening Commissions
Posted 8 years agoIt's been a while..but honestly it's just something that's been on my mind again. Since Spring Semester is ending, i guess i should be more productive if not responsible to make a sort of income to balance out things, owed and wanted.
Maybe this weekend I'll open again, but I need to reform myself. I don't speak up and i do need to keep in touch more with people, just get myself on track and so forth.
If i do open, well, I'll say so in a journal and maybe a image post incase those are just as effective if not more so.

[Notice] Got a Laptop again
Posted 8 years agowell, things worked through with my teacher, and I got a replacement laptop again. for now, it is good, though even then i still can't rely on borrowed things for long. It's good to have something to work with again, just isn't the best feeling when you know it can be taken away again.
