New character

Went to the mall last night, with my folks and cousins....on the way back out, just as it was closing up for the night, a mall cop came by and unlocked the entrance we were coming out of, since she locked it to stop any kids from coming in without permission. We came across a Siberan Husky (Pretty odd to find one this far south in the U.S.), and the first thing that popped into my head...."Character material". So I took a snapshot of the dog, to use as a reference later on.
So yeah, I'm most likely gonna make a new character out of this that'll probably be like a father figure to Corey and Sue, the two characters I have right now, since Sue does act like she's Corey's older sister, Corey's obviously adopted, and the whole "no parents" thing blows. Expect a new reference sheet to appear very soon. Just gotta decide on the outfit, name....Yeah, that's about it.

Posted 13 years agoI gave my phone to my cousins so they had a way to get in contact with their mom while they go to take their little brother back to Iwoa. Looking back on that now....Big mistake on my part.

I am going to start drawing something that
seanthesquirrel suggested, and there will be a victim. Who will be the victim you ask? I'll leave to you to decide. Whatever bastard of a villian, a king of the jerk, or plain antagonist it is....you call for it, and I'll decide on it. You can also vote for whatever choice another user requested. But there are a few things to go over....
1. It can't be a human character. Just wouldn't feel right on moral terms.
2. It can be your own original character, minding the fact that to you, that character deserves it, and I mean, DESERVES it.
And there you have it. It could be Plankton from Spongebob, Lumpus from Camp Lazlo....anyone you want. But they CANNOT be human.

I feel a bit short with the number of character, or it seems to me that I'm not even making the list of characters in the comic diverse enough. So here's what I'm gonna do....
I'm gonna make a new character soon, to celebrate the season / holidays (No christmas Marley). I've narrowed the animal down to two species and I want you guys to decide on the following.....
Wolf or Reindeer (THIS WHOLE MONTH MIGHT AS WELL HAVE BEEN THROWING REINDEER INTO MY FACE!!)
Body type (Tall or Short; skinny, medium hefty, wide or fat) (Wide meaning that the upper body would be wider, and fat meaning the lower body be wider)
What clothes it should wear -and alternate outfits are a good suggestion too- or if it should wear clothes at all.
Features ( Fangs, a mangled ear, antlers, no antlers....that kinda stuff)
Personallity.....
Gender....
And of course, the name.
I almost forgot, you can also wish for this new animal to replace either C, Harr, Cedric, Marley, or Rudder, (or make it a new character without cutting anyone) request for him to be any of the comic groups, and with enough votes, in the next Poll, make him the mascot character!

Posted 13 years agoI know I always tell myself to leave my past behind me, but that's never easy when people from your past keep bumping into you. That made me think to myself.....what is my goal? I got so caught up in wanting other things that I lost sight of it. I wanted to be a Cartoonist. My Grandmother, My old boss who I have a lot of respect for, my friends, my mom, even my cousins have said that I have what it takes to be a cartoonist. So now I found a reason to keep drawing. For those who believe in me, the people who aren't with me right now, for everyone of my friends and family, I wanna be a Cartoonist because they think I can and now, I know I can.
To anyone who's read this, I'm challenging you to express the reason you draw, write or do what you do. As much as it hurts to say, I'm aware that this Journal won't recieve many views, so how's about an incentive? For those you show the reason why they do what they do, drawing, painting or whatever, and literature can count, they get a drawing by me. I really want to see what you feel and this feels like the best way to do it. So, no such thing as a bad answer, okay?

Posted 13 years agoMy apartment is in shambles because of the constructers working on the carpeting. My older cousin, my baby brother and my mom are outside the building waiting for them to be done, while I'm sitting in the main office, twiddling my thumbs! Sigh.....
Personally, these two weeks have been hell for me thanks to those guys. And now, my mom is the only one that has a new key to our house, so I can't get in without needing a temporary key. I don't see why this all has to happen during this time, but whatever. My only real concern, is that if they break or steal my xbox or TV, I will smash them in the forehead with a knife! >_____<

Posted 13 years agoHey, I had the most crappy day at school, fell asleep during both of my lessons, and once again, a lot of our students failed another test! BUT, that's not the worst part!
Apparently, there was a BOMB THREAT at Texas A&M University, so the buses that I ride on to get home won't go to their usual stop, meaning that I'd be dropped off at Best Buy.....without any money!! (Sonic Generations! Why do you taunt me?!) And after an hour of window shopping with a whole SLEW of other college students that were left without a ride (You bus drivers have betrayed us! DURRRRRRRGH*BOOM*), my older cousin picked up me, then my mom and his little sister, who also work at Texas A&M, before having to drop her back off at work again (Don't EVER get in the car when my cousin drives.....@___@). At least we had Cici's before I had to come back home.
Yeah. REAL nice way to start off my weekend. Fucking Texas A&M Bomb Alert, fucking jerkwad.....when I find the guy stupid enough to call out a bomb at such a random time, they're gonna pay!
The "Code Maroon" Emergency Broadcast (Texas A&M's little emergeency signal for anyone near the campus) announced that the area is clear and the campus is reopened. But since it's Texas A&M University, I don't care. :/

No, not really. I saved my SAI stuff, my bamboo software can be re-installed....but I couldn't find my mom's music files, and my geography work is gone, because I forgot to get that....

Posted 13 years ago....Pricks that want to scare you and waste your time trying to fix your computer! I mean, really, who takes the time out one's own schedule to create a virus that completely BLOCKS YOU FROM YOUR OWN COMPUTER, AND PUTS UP A FAKE FBI WARNING IN YOUR FACE, DEMANDING TO BE PAID A $200 FINE VIA MONEYPACK?! Just....Why?! They knew that there's an OBVIOUS chance this could be illegal, they'd easily piss a lot of people off, and they could end up getting their asses kicked by everyone on the streets for what they did. But they did it. Y'know what? Where are these damn fuckers? I'm getting my gun right now.
My point in a nutshell, I could've been working on a new drawing or practice my vector, but instead I had to figure out how to get access from my computer when this virus hit it. My mom got nearly DAMN PISSED OFF at me until I informed her that the FBI warning was fake, especially since she bought me my laptop for christmas....My cousin is probably ticked off a little, so I'll have to tell him not to worry, and the virus is STILL on my computer. How do I know this? It friggin' popped up AGAIN!! So now, I'm stuck in my laptop's Safe Mode, which is a CLUNKY EYESORE. I'm still fixing the problem at the moment and I have no real idea how long it'll be until I fix it. Maybe....a day? Little more than that? I don't know, I mean, when it comes to tech stuff, I'm a bit of a swing and a miss, but I can pick up a lot in a quick amount of time. I mean, I DID put the Homebrew channel on my Wii in half a day, and I know nothing about hacking a Wii! :P
Anyways, I'm not sure when I can post more stuff on here, but I can still take requests. Later!

Posted 13 years agoMy birthday is in 2 days on August 11th!! While I'm a bit excited (my aunt wanted to spend time with me on my Birthday) I can't help but worry if something bad will happen like it "sometimes" does....and by sometimes, I mean a lot. :(

I'm back from helping out an old friend of our family, with work on his farm. We had to gather bails of hay, and I'm alergic to grass. And thanks to the hay ending up even in MY FUCKING BOXERS!!!! I ended up with blisters on my arms, my neck being irritated and my sinuses acting up. So yeah, working on a farm? NOT. AGAIN.

Posted 13 years agoI managed to get the tablet. It was a lot of work, and I sacrificed quite a bit, but it worked! Now I can only get better (before I pull my hair from fustration on how to use this thing, hopefully)!

Reason for not many uploads
Posted 13 years agoI've been raising money by donating plasma and working on new designs for later use in my sketchbook (needless to say, I HAVE been drawing but I'm not able to show anything right now. No scanner.) not to mention, attending wednsday church. I haven't been fooling around with any new digital drawings and don't plan on doing so anytime soon for the next few weeks, which will make my cartoons more scarce. Sorry, but I'm just asking for a little more patience.

Posted 13 years agoToday was ALMOST perfect! I got to spend a good time with my family, we had a nice trip to the mall and I got to play Super Smash Bros against my classmates (Kinda funny how the 2nd best in the class was this girl I know)! Also, I passed EVERYTHING I needed, meaning that I graduated High school...sorta. I just have to show up at the ceremony. But until I start college, I should have some free time, even if I get another part-time job, which, hopefully, will be the right job for me!

Project: TORTURE
Posted 13 years agoThis is the last day of work I have, so from now on, I should have some free time before finals. During this time, I'll start the next project, called "TORTURE". It's really simple. There needs to be a list of a least 15 different things to do to me. HOWEVER, they can't be anything that shows sexual content. That's where I draw the line.
