Art dump!
General | Posted 12 years agoDid a huge art dump today with several pieces being put up at once. I am open for commissions now and if anyone would like me to put up more example art I will. Just tell me what you wanna see an example of and I will do a quick piece and put it up for you to gaze upon or point you to a previous piece that would fit the description.
Anyway fun news! Finally got a paypal (reason I can now do commissions)! As well as my fur friends from school have recently started to become more brave on public because of me. They all now wear their favorite collars to school and put their badges on their bags because of my outgoing example! XD I feel loved :3

Starting April, 16 2014 I will be taking commissions. I am setting up the information later today. Anyway hope you guys will help me out a bit as I am beginning commissions to help pay for fur to work on my suit. Thanks ^^

Sonya's Situation 3/2/14

So I am one month away from getting a PayPal account (hopefully). Haha I will hopefully convince my parents to help set one up for my 16th birthday in April. So yeah I'll keep you guys updated with that because as soon as we get it set up I can start doing commissions here on FA and not just locally.
Anyway I was really hoping to convince them to let me go to FWA this year with some friends as it's the closest con to us and would be the easiest to convince them. But with the con's opening date fast approaching I think I'm gonna have to wait until FWA 2015. Anyway if any of you are going to FWA this year I'd love to see how much fun you have through pictures and videos, and if I have you on skype maybe we could chat for a bit while you're there! xD haha I will live through meh friends xD.
So that's about all I got for now. I will most likely be sketching stuff out or gaming the rest of the day.
Notes to Self:
Art Goals:
-Create a few basic badge templates
-decide a definite ref. sheet template
-work on shading and scale work for reptiles (right now it's not the best but I'm working on it)
-Set up commission info for future

*price for ferals
*price for backgrounds (no characters in it)
*price for character(s) in a background
-Work on multiple species basic lines
*Too used to canines, must get out of comfort zone

Anyway... I sorta didn't do much other than school yesterday (1/13/14). I feel pretty good about the math exam I had so that's good. I also got to talk to
for a while so that was coolio.
Whelp I'm gonna be off at school again today. You'd think that I'd be used to going every weekday and you know doing stuff. But nope... I'd rather stay home and game, draw or write something. Merrrrrrrr! No Me Gusta Escuela. xD
Oh well, I have to go.
Guess that's it for now... Kind of boring I know, but I will be back around 4:00 p.m. EST if anyone wants to Skype ^.^

Daily Journal
General | Posted 12 years agoDecided to keep a daily journal here. Two days per post as to limit the length of each post and so I restrain myself from droning.
I will have separate journals for any stories I end up writing in the future but this will be continuously recording my daily excersions.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! I had an audition today for my saxophone to get into a band I have auditioned for the past 5 years of my life. There is a lot of stiff competition every year and it gets increasingly harder to make it into the band of your level. This year I am in the Clinic Level Band Auditons (second highest level of difficulty), and they only take the top six performers on my instrument. I have not made the band once since I first started audition for the assosiation that runs the audtions and three band levels (Junior, Clinc, Senior).
But good news! I feel really good about this years audition. I have done a lot better this year in the past and am already practing for next years auditions. I was the first Alto Saxophone to audition this year and I know I will be remembered. It was stressful but I made it through the lengthy audition without getting too worked up and I played to the best of my ability, so wether I made it or not I'm happy with what I didi today.
On another, rather late note, my father has come home from serving overseas to stay for good! I have missed him much and he came back in time for Christmas and it was one of the best gifts I could have been blessed with. I am estatic that he is home to help out as well as just having him back makes the family feel whole again. I know our Calico Kitty missed her daddy a lot as she will not leave his side. ^^ It is adorable to walk out and find them both sleeping on the couch where my father often crashes because it is easier for his back to sleep in the recliner couch.
So I have been working on Sonya's design a little (my OC) and was looking back at some older pieces I did. I have to say I have come a long way with my art, not to flatter myself or anything, but if you were to look at my older pieces I have scatered around my as compered to more recent pieces... just wow. How much my style has changed is baffling.
Alright well it is about 1:42 a.m. so I better get some sleep.

5:00 a.m. Hahaha never got to sleep. Still too excited from my audition going so well earlier today. Meeeeeeep xD I also had chocolatey candy which didn't help. I'll be studying for midterms for a few good hours today. Meh cramming hurts my fluffy head. If I need a study break I'm probably gonna start drafting a story or two... whatever I get going on. I have two exams tomorrow so those come first. Whelp time to yank out the textbooks and RELEARN EVERYTHING. 0. o
7:48 a.m. Meh internet why do you hate me? Haha trying to find a line art I printed almost 2 years ago in order to give the original artist credit, and NOTHING is turning up. You fail me internet.... you fail me.
3:30 p.m. STUDY BREAAAAK! Lol my eyes burn from textbook mumbo jumbo. Anyway I am just about ready to upload a piece for an art trade with ~SkitzoBadger
