Ok.. so we had a horrible storm Monday night.. knocked the power out, uprooted trees, etc. Well we called the power company.. and they are looking at not having our power back until Thursday..
Thursday!! I have no power, no heat/ac, no tv, no computer, no ps3, no fridge.. but most importantly... No WATER... meaning no showers at home, no flushing the toilets, no washing dishes, none of it.. being so far out of the city, we are on well water..so when the power goes out... so does our water supply..

Ok, so i used to work with this girl who we were close, meaning we had lunch together, hung out on the weekends etc. When i moved up in the company, she started distancing herself from me, i thought meh whatever.

Well we have been going to lunch here and there. i went mainly just to have someone to eat lunch with..

Today she emails me wanting to go to Moe's to eat. I said ok, i stopped by her desk to get her card and couldnt find her, i walked around for 15 min like a chicken with my head cut off, just looking for her.. Well i decided i will go pay for it she can get me back later. I come back only for her to tell me she has already taken her lunch, mind you she ate it, but pretty much told me to go on my way. I told her she owed me, and shes said "Yea ok" in a really monotone voice..

needless to say i wont be dining with her again. But i still feel used and mistreated..

Okay.. well you know how they say that bad things come in groups of three.. or something along that nature?..

Well this morning I got a flat tire.. only to realize my car didn't come with a tire iron for my tires.. then had a HUGE screaming argument with my dad because at this moment I don't have the moment to totally fix my car.. and won't have it until the government decides to pay me my tax return..

Sooo I'm waiting on the next unfortunate event to happen... oh.. what could it be...

Well, Nanaki and I just got a summons to court/eviction today. We basically owe $1,150.00 - Nanaki's dad still owes $390, so I have no idea when that'll get paid back. We only got behind because his Respite job (that we mainly use to pay our bills/rent) had been holding his checks and not sending them ON TIME, despite us facing his time-sheets in on time.* This caused us to be behind in December and this month. (We're still waiting on his paychecks to be sent in.)


Before anyone suggests going through DHS - don't. We have already tried this *last year, exact same thing happened* and they told us he didn't make enough at his job to live there, so they won't help out.


So, I'm going to try to help out. My ideal goal is 300.00. My realistic one is 200.00.


We have nowhere to go after this. Please, help? *looks up, ears low*

How much would you be willing to pay for sketches? Inks? Full colors? I need to know what you guys think would be fair. You know my art abilities, so judge for yourselves. I do have a limit though...(Please for the love of God, don't ask for full color for only 5.00...I devote a LOT of time to full colors - a little more would be fine though...)

*Nanaki's job is really, really annoying. We faxed his sheets in completed, and they said they couldn't tell if a 2 was a 3, so they held his check. When we checked it out again, it was clearly a 2, but a small (about 2 pixels in width) made it look like...a 2. They said it was too illegible. Leave your thoughts!
