Ever since the end of the election, roughly half the journals I've been seeing on FA has been about politics and a plethora of heated debate, arguing, bias, extremist commentary and insults to one another.

I see this shit enough already on social media, can we just make FA about porn again?

well this has been quite a busy month... not that I'm complaining, I'm kinda surprised of how many I've done recently.

I may be closing commissions a bit for the time being, I want to focus on working on my Patreon and my webcomic. I probably won't completely close it, just it'll be on a case by case basis if I need the extra cash or if I'm not too busy at the moment.

Those who already have a commission slot are unaffected, I'll still be working on yours.

I've been mulling over what I can offer for my upcoming Patreon for my webcomic, here's what I've got so far for a monthly service;

First tier: subscription to the comic, read the comic chapter/issue in full at the start of the month as non-subscribers have to wait for the comic to be uploaded one page per day, name in the "special thanks" section

Second tier: first tier perks, plus an opportunity (if there's a ton of takers, it'll be a chance on a roulette wheel) your character may appear in the background (some restrictions apply, such as must be a humanoid-shaped anthro animal or human; no taurs, talking ferals, monsters, chimeras, etc) (limit ??)

Third tier: first and second tier perks, plus discounted single-character inked commissions (limit 5 per month)

Fourth tier: first and second tier perks, plus discounted two-character inked commissions (limit 3 per month)

Anyone have any suggestions to add or change to this?

Enjoyed my time having my girlfriend stay over the past month, though running a tiny bit low on funds. Starting on September I'll be re-opening commissions for a bit to recoup on what I spent.

I'll make another journal when everything's good to go.

Hey everyone, been a while since I made a journal.

Well as I kinda thin down on my remaining commissions, I may be a bit busy all of next month due to my girlfriend coming over.

That said, art from me, or rather fetish/adult art may take a backseat since I want to finally focus on projects I wanted to do and maybe get Patreon set up for it soon.

Commissions as of now are closed, I'll be finishing up the last of the ones I currently owe.
Everyone who contacted me for commissions prior to this journal I still intend to work on, HOWEVER, if I don't hear from those people within the end of the month, I'll be forced to assume they're not interested in one anymore.

Commissions will also be far and few in between as I want to focus on my own things for a while. Though I will reopen if I'm in dire need.

Aside from finishing up the remaining commissions I still owe, I'll be focusing on doing more personal animations, and working on my Patreon for my planned webcomic.

Those not in the know; Beast's Fury is dead in the water. The main account on FA has been shut down along with the website. I was involved by doing the ink cleanup, colors and shades on the sprites.

I already made a series of tweets regarding the situation, but came across this video that better explains the entirety of the situation and includes my tweets near the end.

I wanted to thank everyone who wished me a happy birthday, means a lot to me considering how generally lonely I tend to feel around the holidays.

Also for the new year, I'm seriously thinking of starting up my own Patreon finally... actually getting around to starting my webcomic I kept putting off for years. I'm still considering what kind of reward tiers I can offer for it, but once it's all figured out, I'll officially launch my page starting next year.

Dad's been out of the hospital for the past week or two, downside is he's stuck with a plastic bag for his waste, which he's not too pleased about.
Mom's been gone to Colombia for some surgery on her teeth as it's cheaper there since last week, leaving me home alone until the middle of next month. Only company I have are my pet birds and wishing I had nearby friends to help me get my mind off things offline... I just wish I didn't stupidly drive away my old ones before I finally got medicated earlier this year...

Still in the process of seeing if I can get an appeal to get SSI to help get me on my feet and not worry about commissions keeping me afloat while forcing me to set aside all projects I wanted to work on for even longer.

I still REALLY want to start working on things like animations, my planned webcomic, collaborations and such, but with having to need to lend mom money to help her with bills whenever she's short, I'm forced to stick with commissions for the time being so my account doesn't stay dangerously low on funds.
I'll wait it out to see if I get word if I do get accepted... but in the event I'm rejected again, please don't blame me for wanting to hike up my prices for commissions a little to curb traffic a bit. I had nonstop commissioners approaching me leaving me with little room to rest in-between and getting my shoulder sore as a result.
Nothing TOO ludicrous, maybe like $30 for one character inked instead of my previous $20 price. I'm still working on my potentially new prices while waiting to see what news I can get. Those that are still waiting on theirs or had a slot reserved previously will still be charged my old prices as they'd be grandfathered in.

So yeah, commissions re-opening will be TBA, just depends how things go.

Dad seems to be doing fine after having two operations on him, potentially going to be discharged from the hospital soon. Reason why they had two operations is during the first, SOMEONE fucked up on their job and tore up his intestines before sewing him back up and he felt pain after he finally was given the ok to eat.
Under my suggestion, I told him to seek a lawyer to see if there's a case for medical malpractice so he could sue once he arrives home.

So back on the 13th, a storm knocked my power out in the middle of a stream session. While waiting for things to come back on, I got a text from one of my cousins that my dad's in the hospital with a high fever and intense stomach pains.

I gave my stepmom a call who was in the hospital with him and passed the phone to him. His tone of voice felt strained and was short of breath, but he seemed glad I gave him a call to see how he's doing. He had already gotten a colonoscopy and the doctors felt he was alright, but kept him to keep an eye on him to see in case anything happens

The next day I was told he's been using an oxygen tank and that his kidneys were likely failing again (as he got a transplant around 15 years ago or so). I couldn't even see him since I'm stuck all the way in the Keys with no car (and as it so happens, mom's car is under repairs) and he's all the way up in Cape Coral.

Then earlier today I got a call from dad, his voice still strained with a mixture of fear and sadness in his tone. Telling me he's about to be operated on as his intestines turned out to be punctured/torn after he was finally allowed to eat. He told me in the event anything happens to him, he told me that he loves me. Despite my grudges with him over the past few years with him, I felt this might be my only chance to tell him the same thing in return. He sounded happy to hear that as I hadn't said it for years.


As much as I grew to hate my father in the latter half of my life, I don't want to later on regret not saying it before it's too late.

I'm almost anticipating a call from my stepmom or cousins either later tonight or tomorrow about the news in case the operation doesn't go well, I'm mentally prepared just in case. I prefer to keep my hopes low as opposed to high and then be crushed with disappointment.

I just kinda wish after the divorce, dad didn't have to move far away from us so I'd see him more often, I probably wouldn't have resented him for the absence and feeling abandoned since my preteen years leaving me here in this remote retirement island town.

...I probably should be crying, but I'm still emotionally numb. Maybe when it finally happens it'll sink in and I'll be offline for a bit to grieve.

So after over 6 years of stupidly being off my meds, and then severely relapsing, I'm finally back on them. It's already day 3 and I think I feel it working as my negative thoughts aren't really as prevalent as it was before. It remains to be seen what the side effects will be this time around... hopefully nothing too bad.

Though also talking to my psychiatrist, she could tell from the get-go I've likely got something else just by the way I talk. Honestly, I had a feeling what it was as I had thought about the possibility I might have it weeks prior...

It seems I also have Aspergers.

I guess the knowledge shouldn't change me as I'm still the same person as before, just have a better explanation to people about what's up with me. Really, it all makes sense in hindsight of my awkward childhood experiences and my general social skills... But here's hoping now I'm medicated for my depression and anxiety, I'm gonna be better in the long run.

I want to thank everyone who stuck by me and were supportive of me and my bullshit the past several years.

I want to say thanks to everyone for the birthday/Christmas wishes since I've been feeling really shitty and lonely the past year. Those who have me on Skype may've noticed I've been offline for a while due to crushing depression and family dragging me around due to the holidays and my birthday being celebrated.
