I'm working on being something more than just a amateur writer. I just wrote 'Thief of Luck', which is the longest thing I've ever written by more than 4000 words. I'm diving into the deep end soon- I'll be trying my hand at a novel (novella, really, but whatever) during NaNoWriMo in November. October I'll use for research and development of the world and the story outline. To get where I want for the length I'll need to do about 2500-3000 words per day, every day during November. I think I can do it, as I did 13500+ over 8 days for Thief of Luck.

If people would check out my earlier stuff, all comments whether positive or negative are appreciated and desired. I need to get better!

... That I'd planned to post are now uploaded. Aagh, I didn't think it was that many, really. I do have more of course, and I'll probably upload a few more in the future. Oh- If an image was taken before December of 2009 it was taken with a Canon Powershot A85 4.0 Megapixel camera. After that (and currently) the camera is a Canon Powershot A1100 IS 12.1 Megapixel camera.

I'd love to have a digital SLR, but I simply could not afford such a toy. I almost got a different model Canon, but something that sucks about modern digital cameras is that the manufacturers seem to think that an optical viewfinder is useless. Try taking pics using that damned digital screen in bright light sometime and you'll find why I hate them. :P

Good god I have a lot pf photos. MOST of them are now up, but there are a bunch left. The stuff from a trip to the Carpenter Nature Center, some from Midwest Furfest last year and bunch of weird weather pics are the bulk of what's left. I got more things up this morning, and I may get a few more up tonight. We'll see! Oh, and please take a look at my stories- one is on my 'featured work' spot, and the rest are far down the submissions listings. I really do appreciate commentary, even if I don't respond.

Someone somewhere might be wondering this, so I decided to put this explanation up. Basically, I put up whatever i feel like at the moment. Right now, one of the big concerns is that a LOT of the stuff I have scanned in the laptop are screwed up somehow- they're .psd files, and while Preview (I'm on a Mac laptop) can read that normally, I can't access them. It's probably some change in how Photoshop saves things, but I don't know. I'm going to download GIMP one of these days to see if I can save any of them. Otherwise, I get to rescan a lot of images.

Another criteria- If you're an artist and I've gotten a pic from you at a con, more than likely it'll eventually show up here. I have an INSANE amount of art from people. I started collecting sketches and character art in the early 1980's, and I've yet to stop. I've slowed down (the pocketbook can't sustain it anymore), but I don't think I'll ever get them all posted. Its in the thousands of images, easily.

So that's basically it. I'm posting a bunch more now, and really, I WILL get the photos up soon. Honest!

Okay, I just put up my latest short story, 'Into Temptation'. Its the first of several shorts I'm writing about the lead character of the novel I hope to write, Ranah. In this she's 12, and its a pivotal event in her development. PLEASE comment!

Okay, as Photobucket has ONCE AGAIN nuked a pic I put up (but not all the OTHER pics that might violate their TOS), I'm finally going to set stuff up here. I'll be putting my writing up here (which IS original) and a lot of art (which is done by people Who Are Not Me). This should happen over the next week or so unless my ambition goes to hell again. I have to figger out what exactly I'm doing, what I can and can't post and things like that. Whee!
