Yo! Just giving some updates here.

- The Patreon is going well. Various sketches and other bonus content that I don’t believe warrants their own posts on my galleries go there. You’re free to explore the stuff there with a pledge of 5$, and if you can’t afford it- just take back your pledge before the end of the month. It’s that easy. Keep in mind that eventually the patreon will be ‘charge up-front’ in the future. When this happens, I still strongly recommend waiting until the beginning of the month before getting charged.

- There will be streams Saturday thru Tuesday every week around midday (PST). Related to the patreon, I have reached the milestone goal for more streams. My work schedule has also become very steadfast these days too, so it’s all come together. You will receive an update here and on twitter when the stream is up.

- I am currently getting through a decent chunk of commissions, and keeping myself busy with that. Expect most to all new posts to be commissions. I even have a story I’m working on with a friend, and you’ll be seeing some writing of mine in the future.

- I am planning on going to BLFC, and if I’m feeling extra lucky, MFF. I want to do some sort of special commissions for trip savings. Most likely these will be my first YCH commissions. if not that, they will be Pay-What-You-Want comms. These commissions (YCH or otherwise) may also be growth sequences.

Heya. Things have been slow. This journal is replacing the stuff from Summer, since it's now three months old.

I've been mighty busy, and things haven't been going incredibly well. I'm completely struggling with stuff in school related to my major. Frankly, I just don't understand what I'm doing. I wish I had more guidance, but my teachers aren't around very often. Not to mention I've been feeling stupidly scatter-brained, which makes me anxious, and vice-versa. It's not a fun time.

Now, I know what you're thinking...

And actually, I'm kinda ambivalent. I care a lot about school, and want to succeed. Unfortunately, seasonal depression doesn't really care, and it seems like my teachers don't care either. I kinda wish I wasn't wasting so much money on being in classrooms with nobody around half the time. Not to mention, when we are taught, it's the same stuff I saw in an online tutorial or two, right down to the materials used.

I played Undertale. It was a real breath of fresh air. I recommend giving it a playthrough. Google it. It was really what I needed right now!

I'm still not on FA often, and haven't been uploading stuff to Tumblr much due to work/school. Twitter is my go-to thingymabob.

I think I really need a larger project to help myself focus on everything else. Something I can look forward to, and work hard to get to work on at the end of the day. Could be an excuse to not work more, but who knows where my brain will take me. Not to mention that there are some large projects that I just need to get started on. I've been wasting time!

Hi folks. I thought I would keep you in the know with things that have been going on.

Some news came up that I had move out of my place. I was told it may happen, but had no confirmed date until an odd amount of short notice. Now it's my last day today, and most to everything is in storage while I stay with my family for the rest of the month. I have some leads for other places next month, so I hope everything works out.

Now, I know what you're thinking...

But, Sot, what were you going to do before you found this out?

I was going to open up for commissions for a bit. Mainly as testing waters. Some people are interested in commissions from me, but I don't know how many would be interested once actual money is involved. You know how it is. Frankly, I've been running around with a new thing for months. New job since January, along with school, summer school, summer events. Family wanted me to take some extra supplemental classes after summer school, and I was going to say no before I found I had to move out. I also have a trip for two weeks coming up at the end of July, which will be fun, but it has been a peg in all of these things I have to work on. I haven't really had a break to sit down and relax for months.

However, I recognize August in my life as two things. It is the most boring month in the year, and nothing happens during August. School will start up again at the end of it, but if things work out, I will have some more free time. Will I open up for commissions? Yeah, probably. I want some help from you, though. Read carefully now.

I want to do a thing of weekly themes for commissions. For the people who take the slots for that week, they will get a specific kind of picture. Some ideas

- Before and After for a normal-to-big size difference.
- Icons
- Mid-transformation. Difference in TFed body parts.
- Practical uses of bigger characters.
- Badges (I got a unique idea for these, but it's top secret cause it's that great)

Those are some ideas I hope to use, and possibly rotate over when I have no idea what to do on a certain week. While this would give me some money, this is moreso practice to help me find a style that is quick, justified, and detailed enough to use for a webcomic. I'm looking for a "short-hand" for my drawing that I can use to put out comics that still have quality. Ambitious, but that's my goal. Also, money. Yeah.

Do you have an idea for a weekly theme? Please, do post it in the comments! Here is the criteria you need to remember.

- It can be done over again with each person, like a template.
- The format encourages people to think creatively to make their picture unique from the others, like a sandbox.

Hi folks. This journal is probably going to be short in terms of content, but since I am a bit of a blabbermouth...

Things have been going pretty well recently. I got a job at the beginning of the year, and things have looked up since then. Nowadays, most of the only things I have on my mind to finish are out of my control until people give me the go-ahead, so I'm finally feeling ahead of the curve. I even went to an office to apologize for skipping an appointment the day before, and he was glad I was right on time. I had scheduled for that time. I fooled myself into doing the right thing.

So yeah, things are more relaxed. I'm working on my final projects now weeks before they're due, so that I can get things done in chunks. Tax day. Dental appointments. Saving up for cons next year. I'm getting into a routine and enjoying it for once.

And frankly, you're right. This update here is to let people know some news for the future. I hope to open up for themed commissions later in the Summer. I figured that it would be best to let people get art from me under a theme every two weeks or so, and it would be fun to try and make them different each time.

I'm going to be updating FA and Weasyl more. Tumblr still gets updates, and you know where to look for that (hint: it's right here).

Alerts on open commissions slots this Summer will be first put up on Tumblr, then Weasyl, and then FA.

These alerts will probably be several hours apart from each other, or a day apart. Frankly, I don't think a lot of people look at my art, but since 200 people follow me on the blog I update the most I figured that's the best place to start if someone would like some art from me.

Besides that, I'm focusing on projects right now. Chipping away at finals. They take up a lot of my time so that I don't want to rush around and finish them all at once at the end of the semester. There is also some Summer school, work, and a trip I'll be taking in July with family. Fun stuff.

Hello! Just keeping you guys all up to date on things.

The current project I was working on is now on hold. I've been focusing on taking art classes, my regular french classes and then doing normal ol' art. We've currently got a big presentation project coming up. I hope I do well, and I would like any encouragement for me to work hard.

I took part in the Feb. TASE event started by  Nemo , but got caught up in college transfer applications and a trip to the UK. There have been doodles on my Tumblr, but there will be no large, purely digital works until this gets finished.

People have been asking me more often if I do commissions, and this is still up in the air. For most to all people still wondering, I'm not publicly open for commissions. I would like to open for them when I have both substance and skill to go with my style. If you /really/ want a comm from me, just send me a note. I'll send you my fluctuating price sheet and we can talk things over. For previous people who have commissioned me, I know what you're thinking...

First, that was rude. Second, I am still doing these pictures, and these will be done first. As you can tell, doing commissions is kinda difficult when you find your skills not up to par and you're quite busy in another country. This is why I don't make people pay first-thing!

Lessee, other stuff. Ah yes, I /did/ go to Manchester a couple weeks ago! I met up with  Shez and  Darkoverord  FlintGF  Lightness and  Crome among others! I met up with the first two on Friday and began on a long marathon of sketching and overall hanging out. I got to try on a partial fursuit for my first time, and ended up getting snuggled straight into oblivion. Saturday I got to meet  Blue and  Bungle_Bear for a tad bit before eating donut burgers with the others, including  Crimsondarkwolfe ! Then we all hung out late into the night, and then I went back home Sunday morning. I practically got pampered, and am glad I did a bunch of drawings for them in return. I hope to do more, since everyone had very colorful characters and the overall time was memorable enough to make into art. There was also tiny squirrel feet involved.

I hope to come back in May when school lets out. My family wants me to travel, and I wouldn't mind coming back to the UK for a little while as my last stop before going back home and settling into Boresville. I keep pestering  Sqrltacular to make the trip, and I encourage others to do the same (pester him, but you can come too!)

And really, that's about it. I should probably focus on work right now, but it's a lazy Sunday. Next weekend is my birthday, and I'm not sure if I want to relax or do something neat. I hope you're all doing well, and take care of yourselves!

I think it makes more sense. Some people don't wanna see all of my stuff, but do enjoy my style. I do wish all art sites had a feature where you could selectively choose which artists you wanted to put the SFW filter on, but you may say I'm a dreamer. I'm also a little paranoid. It happens. For most to all of you, this doesn't really matter. It's for me. I like cartoons, but I also like big stuff. What terrible circumstances! Ah well.

- Still working on that super special secret project. It's going well. Please pester me about it so that I can keep my ass moving as well as not telling you anything.

- I'm also still practicing art. I did some pics during the holiday break, but these days I've just been answering tumblr questions. They're relaxing to do after other stuff I've already worked on. Go here if you would like to give me some questions to answer someday. Since my current schedule is kinda empty compared to last semester, I am drawing hardcore. There's still a lot of work in school, but it's just 3rd grade work in another language. You know how it is.

Heya! It's late at night, and I have a final tomorrow, so this is obviously the best time to write a journal entry!

I finished a pretty large sequence recently. Go check it on Tumblr. Glad it's over, I learned a lot of stuff through it. Most importantly, I learned that I'm pretty terrible at drawing, and I need to hit the outdoors and bookends! Go outside and draw people, landscapes, and pretty birds. Get inside and draw some models, and possibly take some online classes too. With my current escapade in France right now, I haven't had any classes currently having to do with art. This is pretty much my fault, but I don't feel so bad about it. My family isn't too bummed either. I'm in France! What matters now is transferring into a better college for art. I know what I want to study, but that's a secret to /you guys/.

So yeah, I'm pretty bad at art, but that's not really gonna stop me from doing stuff. I'm just taking a break from furry stuff. No, I'm not gonna leave in that stereotypical fashion where I'll be coming back, crawling and gasping for air. I'm taking a hike artistically and focusing on actual stuff. Personal art. Studies. Comics. Stuff that people rub their chins at and write academic papers on.

However, there will be uploads here and there. One reason why I'm also taking this break is because I'm kinda sick of drawing my characters for a bit. I still draw them, but I need new subjects. Don't be surprised in the future if I draw your character, whomever is reading this. I'll be using other people as subjects for studying color, new things in programs I'm not familiar with, and practice with lineart. One example is my recent picture of Jacfox.

Big stuff, though? Not right now. Expect doodles. Will this last a long time? I honestly don't think so. I think before you realize it, I'll be back with a new bunch of stupid stuff, but just don't expect this stuff to be my prominent focus for a while.

Another thing is that I have a super-secret-project in the works. For here! Gad-zooks and zoinks! Now, I know what you're thinking...

Oh, what, when the heck is this coming out? I'm gonna shit out my skeleton I'm so excited!

Hmm, while I'm here, perhaps now is the best time to bring up an issue I've noticed. Since I haven't seen this happen in a good while, now seems good to talk about it.

Now this is not something exclusive to the furry community. I've seen this across the internet. There have been moments where I bring up someone or the other, and this starts a fiery passion of hate from people. Sometimes I bring up the people indirectly, but it's the same reaction. It has differed from person to person, but usually they're already rambling about why they hate this person before I can even ask "Why? What's wrong about them?"

It's always helpful to know whom I should avoid in case they are not exactly the most trustworthy people to know, but the reactions I've come across are just as bad as the actions of these other folks. Of course, just complaining about how crappy a person is can't be that bad, but I believe it really hurts communities. The gossip already deteriorates your view of someone, whether or not you know anything about them besides that. Instead of forgiving people for their mistakes, and reminding them not to do something like that again for their own sake, some people seem fine with kicking someone out of an opportunity of a second chance with people new and old in the community. Gossiping, either privately or publicly makes you just as much of a jerk as they are- in my eyes.

That, and I don't care about your drama? You don't need to get out the microphone to shout how much you hate someone in casual conversation. Some people are good at that, but most people aren't. If I say "I wanna do art in this style," just say that you do think the style is pretty neat even though you don't like the guy who made it too much. If I get curious past that, you can wax about assholes, but you will also be one of those cheeks, because in the end /it's just drama./ Don't wax assholes. It hurts. For everyone.

Hello. It's been a good two months here in France now. I was first living in a hotel, then with someone near the center of the town. Eventually, my roommate told me that I wasn't relationship material- basically. While they wanted someone to cook, go out, and get up at the same time as they did, I just wanted a room and place to sleep. I was told to move out very suddenly, since they were searching for roommates behind my back and had found someone already. After some stress-heavy days, I'm now in a better place. I live on a hill, right next to where Cézanne did a series of paintings of Mont Sainte-Victoire. I've already sat where he did, and have drawn the same subject. Unlike him though, I failed miserably, but there's a sense of pride in failing where famous painters have succeeded.

Other than trying to be an artist, I am still also drawing huge funny animals. I'm working on the sequence, but it's taking time for multiple reasons. I got midterms, taking a trip to Paris next week for one week, and I'm also a bit bored with it. That's because the next pictures are somewhat challenging. I'm a lazy fellow. Don't worry about me giving up on it, though. I enjoy the landscape so much here that I take great strides to vandalize it with ginormous furries.

Since I'm still typing, I'll tell you about various tidbit or two. The food here is very good, but it's mainly... carbs? You know what they say...

Oh, those french. They only eat bread, wine and cheese! Pfftbt!

After two weeks of living here, it hit me- and moreso my stomach- hard that this was actually true. Everything here is a mixture combined with bread, pasta or cheese at some point. I'm back to normal now, but at some point I think I strained a muscle in my stomach. There were constant hunger pains in my body for about three days. I practically ate a meal every two hours. But, everything is fine now. I get cheap groceries that last me for the week, and it's all quite an international variety. The baguettes here, though? Really good! Turkish food here is great too.

Last thought. Posting new music I've been enjoying on my profile is nice and all, but I thought I would share some more. I've been getting back into the Madlib Medicine Show again. It's still very good. It was 12 months (really two years) of releasing new albums on the odd numbered months, and mixtapes on the even months. The mixtapes are the best ones, and those are what I'll be sharing with you right now.

1. Why do you like fat/inflation?
I'm not sure! Just do! Really, it's good stress relief. For about three to four years, I did a lot of artwork of various sorts in order to keep me practicing. Very high-brow stuff. I got tired of it, and deciding to do this really colorful, big stuff was a great decision. I get to experiment with new things, improve my artwork, and feel guilty enough to keep working on my other artwork too! I can't keep drawing big animals all day and not feel out of touch with what else I want to practice on.

2. Which is better? Fat or Inflation? And why?
There's a lot more factors than this! Sometimes I like it when a person in a drawing is going through growth spurts rather than consistently growing. Drawing that is a bit more difficult, though.

3. Would you consider your liking sexual or not?
Yep. I find some aspects kinda funny rather than sexual though. Too many cartoons, really.

4. Fat/Inflated guys or girls?
Both. Girls more, I think. Females can grow in a variety of neat clothing choices. Guys can too, but there's only so many choices compared to the fashion world of females that's begging to be vandalized by people like me. You following me so far?

5. Do you like inflation furs who are latex or rubber instead of fur?
Yes, but I find them harder to draw. Those types are more prone to looking both fat and bloated. I wrote a description here about how their butts look different, but... I felt weird.

6.Would your character prefer fat or inflation?
See: my characters.

7.Opinion on slob furs.
I don't really have an opinion on it because it's not my focus. I guess I don't like it, but I do enjoy the idea of someone who has no self-control in fattening themselves up. Eating a bit. Eating a lot. Eating all of the time, then eating with no self control!

8. Opinion on vore.
Kinda ties in with the previous answer. Yes, I do like it. A character eats too much food and starts gulping down smaller people. What's really fun is seeing a character get bigger from eating someone larger than they are. Soft vore only, though. I'm sure the people who are into hard-vore are fine people.

I have this one friend in real life, though, who for a long time was having one existential crisis after the other. One time, before he was finally getting better at improving himself, he said he made a furry character to represent himself. He did say he was into it for specific reasons, and told me he was into hard vore. He explained to me about it, but also explained a scenario of how much he wants to see a woman eat like a complete slob. Since he is very vibrant in his emotional vocabulary, he said this stuff in incredible detail, and looking back it was a lil'... strange.

9. Best type of fur to fatten or inflate?
Fur needs to become more fluffy, and scales need to become more smooth or squishy.

10. Do you like it when the inflated fur pops or the fat fur explodes?
Yes, somewhat. How far is too far? On the other side of the coin, I wouldn't mind watching someone try and eat the universe.  tato once did a weight gain sequence about that on a previous account, but I can't find it anywhere now.

11. Blueberry inflation?
Uninteresting answer.

12. What is one thing you don't like about fat/inflation?
Extreme, over-the-top sexualization in terrible color choices. Mainly blood red and black.

13. Who is the best inflation/fat artist?
This is a bad question. However, I would love to commission  blue someday.

14. If their fursona was real, who would you most likely force feed/inflate and huggle? (not your character)
I have a choice or two, but I'm shy to say. :>

15. Do you like fat/inflation of characters from tv shows or video games?
I don't personally care for it, but I find it interesting when I see that happen in the piece of media itself (show/movie/etc.).

16. Do your non fat fur or non inflation friends mind that you're into that stuff?
I probably wouldn't be here if my best friend found this stuff gross. They were the first person I told, and I think their opinion helped a lot (they didn't have one). Some other people, but they don't care. Who cares? Avoid the people who do care too much.

17. Does your family know that you're into fat/inflation or that you're a furry?
One of them do! Loosely. They know I like things blowing up like balloons. They joke about it with me from time to time. Funny story...

One time we were at a family gathering, and I asked them what is one thing they like, but don't know why or how. My answer was opening logos for movies.
"I... I like pigs!"
"Why?"
"I dunno! They're cute. I think it's because they're so round. They're adorable."
"Well, hey. I like round things too, so if there's anything you need to tell me..."
And then they were dying of laughter. Head against the table, slapping it too. Hollering laughter. It was amusing!

18. Do they approve of it?
I dunno, but I know they don't really care. As long as I'm not harming anyone. I think they are also a good reason why I want to keep drawing other stuff too. Drawing big animals all the time makes me feel kinda low.

19. Do you think it's fair to call it a "fat fetish" or "inflation fetish"?
You should never eat grass.

20. Would you like a cookie?

Heya! This may be somewhat abrupt for some of you, but I must finally let you guys know that I’ll be leaving soon. Starting August 15th, I’m spending nine months in France. Yes, this is related to school. Honestly, I’m surprised they even accepted me at first.

Whoa, hey, back the fuck up for a second here. What? What’s gonna happen to your big, cute artwork of animals in various sizes?

To be honest, I’m not sure! However, I do know that I will eventually have internet while I’m there. Internet is pretty good over there from what I've heard. I will be living in Southern France, Aix-en-Provence. I hope to learn art history and draw a lot of landscapes in my free time…

… As well as big things. I’m bringing my tablet and some replacement nibs. These next couple of months will be focused on digital practice. Heck, I may not even draw that much. I’m gonna be in school, in a new country, possibly living by myself in an apartment, and will have to mostly take care of myself. The reason why I’m telling you this is because I may keep drawing. I’ve had the doodle bug since May, and I don’t want to lose steam.

So yeah, just letting you know this stuff ahead of time! Thanks a lot for watching my dumb stuff. Will there be less content brought here? I’m not sure, but either way, now you know.

First off, I only really use Skype now. Think of it like having all of your friends using Facebook. That's the same reason why I'm only using Skype now. It's somewhat bittersweet, but I don't mind very much.

Second, I am capable of streaming now. Consider it a platform where I work on a more complete drawing, doodle stuff for people, and anything else that may happen that day. It's also my place to subject you to such musical greats. Daniel Lopatin, Mark McGuire, Van Gogh.... Gatsby the Great, etc.

Now I know what you're thinking:
"But, Sooooot! If you start streaming you're gonna flood our inbox with stream stuff!"

Fear not, critical viewer. This next thing will work for and against your curiosity. For impromptu stream sessions, I will only be announcing this through Twitter and sometimes through Tumblr. If I ever bring up that I will be streaming through this site, it will be for a future date that you should remember. There may be a journal, a picture, or a thingamabob that will remind you that a stream will happen at /this day/ at /this time/ yadda yadda you get it.

That's about it. Keep these things in mind for the future. I just don't want to leave journal messages and pictures about streaming /all of the time/. That's boring, and nobody cares.

Adium felt a bit cumbersome, so I made a few changes to how I talk to people. I now use Skype a lot more. GTalk is also now more efficiently connected to AIM, and vice-versa. I used to have real problems adding people on AIM through Gtalk, but signing up to AIM through Gmail could help. Along with this, I am really enjoying twitter.
