TL;DR of it: In-laws are considering selling the house we're living in, they just sold the one that we gave them $10k for to a house flipper, and now I'm in panic-brain mode and can't seem to stop thinking of everything I possibly need to do for this or that or the other thing. Looking into places to live, realizing that my 7-person family is going to struggle to find anywhere to rent given that most apartments have a 2-body-per-bedroom here, and they only offer up to 3 bedrooms. So I'm looking for a job.

In the meantime, and in the manic panic of all of this, I'm trying to work through my queue as best as I possibly can so I can open up further comms to start saving aside more and more money for a deposit or a down payment on a house. I'll find out next week I think whether they'll let us rent or buy the house that we're staying in. We don't pay rent, we pay all the bills except land taxes (not for lack of trying, mind...), so I don't know what is happening to us or for us. If we're homeless, my daughter and I are the only people with a place to go, and I'm scared for that to happen, I need these lovely people I live with and share my heart with. I'm just... frazzled.

Any help anyone can give, be it monetary or advice, it's greatly appreciated.

He's been doing a great job learning the coloring side of things when it comes to art (we've not been working on the actual drawing, since he would like a tablet first, and that's alright~!) and does pretty damn good with a mouse. However, he could use a couple followers and maybe even some buyers.

In the last year, I've taken a ton of Sketch Stream Commissions. In fact, I haven't even uploaded over 130 different sketch commissions! Holy cow, guys. I don't even know what I have or haven't uploaded and for this reason, I'll be foregoing any uploads of those sketches. The only exception to this would be if I were to be asked by the commissioner to go ahead and post it up directly, since many prefer to wait for ME to upload first before they put up theirs. (Lemme know, and I will!)

So that brings me to two small changes from here on out:

1) NOT ALL sketch stream commissions will be uploaded. Only those I'm particularly proud of, or upon request.

and

2) Sketch stream commissions will be uploaded into Scraps starting today.

I'd like to keep my main gallery a little less cluttered, and so this is the best way for me to do it, I think. Anyway, just a bit of a minor update, but thank you for taking the time to read. <3

So, I'm doing well for the start of the year, making a decent penny!

But I also know, that at this rate, I will make enough to have to claim.

So my question is, is how do *you* go about making plans and saving aside for the inevitable "this is what you owe the government"? How do you file? I'm married, and have a kid, so assuming he works, we'd file jointly, but how do we go about putting -my- earnings down?

I looked and calculated, estimating from last month's earnings (after PayPal fees) and then estimated using that total. And let me tell you, that number is extremely daunting to have to pay to the government.
