The winner of the auction gets rights to the character in its shifted and quad forms. The winner has the right to add accessories (i.e. jewelry, tattoos, scars, etc.) as well as determining the gender. If you win the auction and fail to pay within two days after its end, the character will go to the second highest bidder. Paypal is the only accepted payment for this auction! That's right, everything from Eye Icons to Full Illustrations are available! I'm doing my best to really try and use commissions to make my living since the job market is kinda... bad right now. @ n @

This particular type of commission has an Asian/Eastern style similar to Sumi-E paintings and the style of art in Okami. I can do just about anything with this style! Simple color, texture, and overall design make each piece unique and dynamic, no two are the same! The pricing for these is $20 USD for a single character and $30 USD for two characters. Graduation: Achievement Unlocked!
Posted 13 years agoAs of Saturday morning, I have officially graduated from the Columbus College of Art and Design! ; u ;
It felt SO good to walk across that stage and give Denny (the college's president) a brofist as I accepted my diploma and waltzed back to my seat~
The rest of the day was spent having lunch with my girls - Amanda and Nell, and my mom! Followed by witnessing a Zombie Walk down in Short North as we were driving back to my apartment! XDDD It was added to the list of strange things that happened that day as the entire time during the Commencement ceremony there was a Civil War reenactment across the street firing cannons every thirty minutes. It was kind of epic lololololol~
Now that the weekend and celebrations are over I intend to open up for commissions in the next few days and start pumping out art like no tomorrow!

Changes
Posted 13 years agoWhile I'm sure they've not been terribly noticeable, I've updated and changed my profile here on FA to better match my personal website. I also finally switched over to using the "dark" layout, my eyes are thanking me tremendously right now.

The Road to Graduation
Posted 13 years agoThe final stretch is just on the horizon! T u T
Yesterday, myself and dozens of my classmates and peers participated in the annual career fair for our school called, Directions. Its been a long, arduous road – lots of stress, preparation, and general chaos that comes with the final two weeks before graduation.
While the fair went relatively well, I'm glad its over! XD Though I was really happy that several companies took interest in my work and snagged up my resumé. I've got a lot of thank you notes to write and at least two leads to follow, so here's hoping that maybe there'll be a job for me somewhere in the near future! *fingers crossed* But for now I'll still be at my gallery job~ :D
The build up and experience as a whole were very exhausting, but in the aftermath of it all I spent the evening with wonderful friends at Max & Erma's across the street. That food should have been accompanied by the hallelujah chorus, I swear~ = u = Lots of laughter, stories, memories, and smiles – I can't think of a better way to end the day.
And come next Wednesday I will officially be done with classes and graduation is just a few days later! I plan on taking a much needed break before opening up for commissions again, and also to catch up on four years worth of all-nighters lol~ XD
So that explains where I've disappeared off to and why art has been kind of non existent~

Big Projects + Graduation Countdown

Boy have I been busy! I think this winter break as been one of the most productive as far as projects, organizing, and catching up. A lot of the work I've been doing offline has been for a project I've been working on since the beginning of 2011 that may finally be coming to fruition around March/April. I'm really happy with where its going and save for a few things that need to be redone, there's not much else left to do! * A *
I've also been busting my chops doing concept work for an upcoming class/project, its tedious and meticulous work since there are a loooooot of environments, but I'm slowly getting through. My hope is to be able to start posting things related to that project in the next couple of weeks. Said project is also looking to be printed in a book form! Just need to get together with my professor and work out the details~
I did get to have a nice weekend away with two of my dearest friends and that was a much needed venture~ <333 There were puppies to play with, a lovely horse who plays in the snow, and endless stars away from city lights. Not to mention all the good food, laughs, and drawings done! XD Hopefully we'll all get together again soon and there won't be any ice hazards again~
And over that said weekend I was contacted by a client for some large work! 8D I'm pretty flippin' excited about it, but I doubt I'll be able to post any of it since its for a private collection, but hey, that's totally fine with me! I'm excited to be doing something like this! :D
This year is also the big one for me, graduation is in May and I can't be more thrilled to get out of this school and start doing freelance work full time! * u * This place has absorbed 4 years of my life and I'm ready to get out there and be a working artist~ So between now and May I will be reconfiguring my commission prices, re-branding my site (the process of that has been started since late 2011), building a mail-out portfolio, and possibly seeking out a job in concept art (we'll see)!
2012 is going to be so much better than its predecessor, in so many ways~
Boy have I been busy! I think this winter break as been one of the most productive as far as projects, organizing, and catching up. A lot of the work I've been doing offline has been for a project I've been working on since the beginning of 2011 that may finally be coming to fruition around March/April. I'm really happy with where its going and save for a few things that need to be redone, there's not much else left to do! * A *
I've also been busting my chops doing concept work for an upcoming class/project, its tedious and meticulous work since there are a loooooot of environments, but I'm slowly getting through. My hope is to be able to start posting things related to that project in the next couple of weeks. Said project is also looking to be printed in a book form! Just need to get together with my professor and work out the details~

Posted 14 years agoWith the holidays around the corner, I'd like to have a little money saved to buy a present or two for close friends and family, and also put a little in saving for when I go home. So I'm opening up for Brush Pen Commissions! :D
I am offering Brush Pen Commissions! And only FOUR SLOTS per group!
This particular type of commission has an Asian/Eastern style similar to Sumi-E paintings and the style of art in Okami. I can do just about anything with this style! Simple color, texture, and overall design make each piece unique and dynamic, no two are the same! The pricing for these is $20 USD for a single character and $30 USD for two characters. I'm really looking forward to finally going and its going to be a killer time by the looks of the line up of entertainment. Out of curiousity, are any of you Ohio (Columbus Area) folks going? :D If you'll be there, I'm not going to be terribly hard to spot!
My outfit will consist of a pink/white tutu, neon pink rip top, pink leg warmers, rainbow colored kandi, pink/black/white dreads, UV goggles, and a feather bustle on my tutu. 8D

The winner has the right to add accessories (i.e. jewelry, tattoos, scars, etc.) as well as determining the gender. The winner MUST keep the design the same in regards to markings, color, horn shape, etc., again, they are free to add to the design the above mentioned "accessories". If you win the auction and fail to pay within two days after its end, the character will go to the second highest bidder. Paypal is the only accepted payment for this auction!
