Lately i've been reading allot of Gary Larsen's comic strips known as "The Far Side", some are hilarious, while others make you tilt your head and go "wha?".
My current fav is one depicting a head hunter village with scalps on pikes with two head hunters just standing there. The caption below reads. "Final resting place of Don King's great grandfather." I think you can imagine the rest, but it made me lol so hard.
In anycase it's inspired me to want to try more, but i've got other art in need of finishing before I start down that road. With the inclusion of one new piece which I started. Sissy Stabberz knows of it, and she's excited to see it. It pretty much came as inspiration when I was thinking of some of Jay Naylor's stand alone art pieces, I am tempted to toss in "Ode to Naylor" in it like he does when he draws a teddy bear version of his fellow artist friend Bonk... Then again Bonks fursona is a Teddy bear so yea lol.
=====Other News=====
Being my RL sister is moving to Oklahoma she doesn't have the time to bring her cat to the rescue league, so for the time being while she meets with some other family in Belgium I'll be taking care of her, she is quite a beautiful cat and it took my sister by surprise how fast the cat warmed up to me. But it just shows how much of a true furry I am hehe.

Also the germaphobe in me has come out recently when I found out my brother now has Mono, which turns out to be a complication from what caused him to pass out as I mentioned in my previous journal http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/939180/
So naturally I REALLY don't want to get it. O.o
So it's become a regular habit now where I spray the door knobs with disinfectant, and wash my hands much more than what I normally do.

Anyway those were tons of fun, and I'm tempted to do this one LINK. Chances are I will do it, and it'll be soooo satisfying simply cause the detail in the sketch is complete awesomesauce. The inking will take a while but well worth it.
The best part is the coloring is helping me develop my skill, and gain ideas to do it better.
The bad part is doing them actually caused quite a bit of pain in my middle and ring finger on into the knuckle, but it goes away when I take breaks, after it's all said and done though I still feel it in my hand. But I suppose a good nights rest will help, specially after eating a rather delicious meal that my sister made as a going away gift cause she's moving to Oklahoma on the 14 of October. Which means we probably won't see her again for a looong while.

Well I figured I'd give yall an update on the dealio n what not, so here we go.

I updated my main page, made it look a little more spiffy-er. After I did it though it still felt incomplete I couldn't figure out what it was missing. At least till I saw a journal posted by a fellow artist I watch. She pointed out allot of things that FA seriously needs, that I think would really rock.

Next is the sketches, to which I'm really getting pleased with how they're turning out. I've been using SAI to ink and color them. I love it to cause using the pressure sensitive pen allows me to decide how thick the line is at any given time. Shading however will be interesting cause it doesn't go the same way it generally would in any other photoshop. Which is actually a great thing, cause it challenges me to be creative. If you haven't noticed a pattern here, there's a method to my madness 4 in the inking/coloring stage, 4 in the sketch stage. Thus far this method seems to work for me, as well as my busy busy schedule. But hey it also allows me to fit in some time to churn out any art that just pops into my head too lol.

Twice I've tried thus far to spend some time with my wife, and both failed. It's 4:37am now I just got home from work a half hour ago, I spent that half hour trying to get my laptop to co-operate with me.

Tomorrow night no matter what I'm going to make it up to her, come hell or high water it's going to happen. Specially considering I'm only working till 11pm. So babe be prepared I'M COMING HOME!

Aside from that I've got a rather gruesome Halloween icon ready which came out nice, but when I shrunk it to the 100x100 it got a little blurry so I'll need to touch it up a little.

To explain the new icon, just cause I can. I saw this and it made me laugh, aside from the humor I found in it, it also seems to fit the pile of drama goin on with what's been happening to me.

Just today my brother had to be admitted to the hospital, he mysteriously passed out and stopped breathing. But I'm in positive spirits about it cause I know he's in good hands. Though I'm baffled as to the cause, ya think I'd be the one to pass out like that.

Lets compare the stats.

Sure one could say that nobody is the same and comparing life styles of two particular people isn't entirely accurate but still the stats available do provide allot of insight, yet boggle the mind when you see one person whom isn't leading a particularly healthy life style as compared to the other.

Course I did manage to get myself to laugh a bit during this cause I pulled a noob move that sounded like it was ripped from a sitcom.
When my father came in and told me he was in the hospital, myself knowing he was using the car turned and asked "He didn't damage the car did he?" (bare in mind that at times like these I tend to become analytical and asses how badly things are. So asking a question like that to me was my way of finding out how bad was the cause for him to be rushed to the hospital.)

Thinking back on the question and my dad's reaction I do see some humor in it, especially considering it's my brother who's in the hospital. But over all I'm sure he's fine, I know he's had a past history of passing out from heat exhaustion so this may be a similar or at least related issue, as he did state the night before he wasn't feeling well.

On a side note, thank God this browser has a spell check, cause I'm realizing just how bad my spelling is.

Been doing some more sketching here and there, started coloring some of the pieces as well while rocking out to some tunes. To which I'm totally hooked on Eiffel 65's "I DJ With The Fire", OMG I love that song it's been running through my head like a few Disturbed songs and CKY songs that I fell for. I just freaking love it hehe.

Though as far as work on my laptop may be brought to a slower pace as far as art goes, as everyone on my mother's side of the family is having one HUGE gathering to discuss what to do about my grandmother's home. It's been sitting there slowly falling apart, and we're all at odds as to whether repair it and then sell it, or to sell it as is.

The fact that it's being sold is my grandmother's wish, being she's still alive and all, and we (at least the majority) wants her to be able to enjoy the remainder of her life as much as she can. The issue is what's the most cost effective way to get the most out of the property for her. In which case in my opinion is to not hire workers but to have some of us in the family who are able to build and repair a house to provide the labor, and pitch in some for material.
But just like all families there's always a "bad egg" so to speak. In which case this one in particular is my uncle whom is pushing to have my grandmother sell the house and divide up the amount between her sons and daughters.
I never really liked my uncle anyway, he's quite literally the type that thinks everyone owes him something. (and that's not my opinion nor based on how I feel about him. It's really based on things he's done to his own family)
I'm not particularly worried about the situation cause I know my family on my mom's side, (with the exception of my uncle) feel the same way about what will happen with the money that comes from selling the house. I've got my own problems to worry about anyway, to which my family has been quite supportive of my situation, it's funny though cause every night I go to bed thinking about what it would be like to have a 7 year old running around the house going on like a chatterbox saying "Daddy, daddy, daddy". Which he does when I go to see him every so often. The only reason he doesn't stay here where I live for a night or so, is we just haven't prepared for it. I'd rather have a house with a post for him set up with his own room then to have him gallivanting about in the morning.
Albeit I won't know for sure if he is my son till the end of the month. But I must admit I'm liking the idea more and more of being his dad. And thinking more on it I know most dads dread the days when they're faced with explaining why mommy isn't there, or if the dad finds a new mate, having to explain who she is, why I'm with her, and what the mate should mean to the child. But for some morbid reason to which I have no idea why, I'm actually looking forward to that experience, I guess in my mind it's the "true" furry side of me that finds the silver lining in every "dark cloud". Which being a furry is another thing that'll be interesting to explain to him.
Oh an to put it out there his name is Joshua hehe I like that name.

Well I figure I'll throw this out there, I did get my dog back thankfully, and i'm feeling a bit sadated after drawing till my hearts content, and snuggling the life out of my dog. I've always been a big fan of Tim Burton's work, especially with Batman 1 & 2 with Micheal Keaton, I might even put together some fan art as an ohmage to his work.

Which he is part of the list of gift art I'm doing, originally when I started this one I was getting agitated cause I couldn't get the pose right at all. In essence it's actually the first piece on bondage I've even attempted, and thus far I'm quite satisfied with how it's turning out.
Originally it wasn't even gonna be a bondage piece, it actually was supposed to be or at least was gonna be titled "Self Crusifiction", so now you can picture the pose, but as I got further into detail I decided to replace the nails in paws with chained cuffs on the wrists.

At any rate the reason I was, and still am pissed for the most part is just a bad week over all. Starting with finding out my boss forgot to put me on the schedual this week, an after giving a sound bitching he told me to come in get some hours in here and there, but naturally I was iritated cause of the snafu.
Plus dealing with idiotic customer after another kept building up even more stress, and then repeatedly burning my hands on the grill (from the splattering greese), getting my work pants covered in trash as well. Only to come home to find out my dog escaped yet again, and spending hours on end scouring the neighborhood for her.
You see normally when I go to bed she naturally climbs in and snuggles me after I've gotten comfortable. I've gotten used to that feeling so even the lack of her presence kept me up all night freaking out.
And then to cap the whole thing off an old friend that I hadn't seen in 8 years contacts me out of the blue, and says. "I've got a certain little guy I want you to meet." I won't go into detail as to why it worries me, but for those that do kow me 8 years is also synonimous with something I hadn't done in that legnth of time...

Right now I feel I just needed to give you guys a heads up and get the latter part off my chest, at the moment I'm just not in a talking mood, I've yet to even say a word to my parents or family because of the mood I'm in, it was hard to even get the motivation to even type this out, and I still don't feel any different.

Well I'm looking forward to a rather nice rain storm to hit my lonely city tonight, all thanks in part by Tropical Storm Danny. Though I'm hoping for a lightening show the likes of what Hurricane Bill put on for this area last week. It was absolutely awesome. Which I had a lol moment I neglected to mention around last week. Me and a good friend of mine were chilling on her porch drinking some brews watching the storm. (The lightening knocked the power out otherwise I would have been content to just chill inside watching a horror movie while sketching)

And to put my lovely lady's mind at rest cause I do know how she can be, I'm still doing quite nicely, and yes my good friend is a girl BUT, she's a straight up lesbian. which is where the lol part came in cause normally she's exactly like one of the guys, ya know cursing like a sailor, scratch your bums, spit like a camel, and all that lovely stuff you ladies find so attractive in guys lol.
Anyway, I way looking up at the sky and from 5 or 6 different locations and with a really decent amount of distance between them, lightening streaked through the clouds all to one location at the same time!! And it was PURPLE!!@.@ But the stunning part about it was how quickly the thunder was heard and how loud it was, (you could have sworn the bolt struck 10 feet from you) and so my natural reaction was... "OH MY GOD!! HAAHAAA DID YOU SEE THAT SHIT?!", all the while the tomboy was cowering underneath the chair shaking like a leaf. Haa haa god I wish I had a camera to catch her face to, it was priceless.


Aside from that today was a rather big let down, picking up a $38 paycheck from work, to which I'm just so damn tired of that job, for the past few weeks I've been busting my ass putting in apps everywhere for 12 straight hours a day, with a few promising prospects here and there, but ya never know right? Hopefully next week the paycheck isn't gonna look so piddly. But i'm so damn exhausted from all the walking, and ragged, soi'll be doing some sketching to relax and then will take some time after i've rested to spend with my lovely lady.

After a long day of work I figured i'd just check my messages and then hit the hay, but I got this email from newgrounds (a site I enjoy going to but rarely check via email) and came across this really cute set of films called "There She Is", which is this Cat (male), and bunny (female) whom are in love, though the first video shows how they fall in love, which I had a giggle or two out of but found to be really cute.

A while back I made mention of a band known as Recycled Percussion, which is a junk rock band that I saw for my very first concert, whom blew me away.
Now they're making their way to the Semi-Finals on America's Got Talent, and the show they put on to get to the semi-finals blew the judges away.

Which makes me all the more ecited to be working with such a talented group of guys, they kick ass. Anyway i'm gonna show you guys a video of them that I managed to record and put through my video editing program of them on the show. I think you'll love it the rock.

Yes, yes I am still churning out the arts with my busy work schedual, but on a really positive note I applied at a gas station which offers to pay $1.25 more than what i'm making at Wendy's where i'm only making $7.50/hr, so $8.75 is definitely a nice upgrade lol. So here's hopeing for better oportunities.
I'm also putting together a funny little comic based on myself,  dejaspyker and her sweet little daughter Zoey that came to mind when my darling mentioned to me some new words that the little munchkin learned from her roomates. The best part is I know she find it down right hillarious when Zoey says those things. I know I do lol XD.

On another note the state of NH issued a TORNADO WATCH!! I think I might be a bit crazy for being excited about it, but 1) I've never seen one. 2) They're somewhat rare in these parts of the U.S. and 3) The movie Twister totally kicks ass.
On the down side my internet may or may not pop off for the day (Baby if you can pass that onto TK or whom ever can possibly find a replacement in case my net does go out, and stays off throughout Saturday.)

Came home from work tonight, I was in the mood to watch some old school horror, and figured Poltergeist 1 & 2 would be cool. Hadn't seen em' in a while so why not right?
Well after watching it I got this wicked itch to wanna draw a still life version of Reverand Henry Kane (the villan whoms is featured in part 2. As I got into searching for some good referance pics I came across a site based off the movies that talks about a "real life" curse that came from the making of the movie to which ironically was based on a curse that had occured because of homes being built on an old forgotten burial site.

In part 2 you see the wife Dianne fall into the muddy pit where the family pool was being dug. Which is the second time you see "dead bodies" of the followers that died follwing Kane to their untimely doom.
Those bodies are in fact real human bodies and not props. Which added to the whole creepy factor in the movie. Sadly the actor whom played Kane died before the movie was even finished.
But to add to my little histeria that was slowly building was as I read on about strange occurences during the filming of teh movies. And then the death of the little girl whom played Carol Anne, sadly died at the age of 12 from complications caused by a flu she contracted the same day the movie was released. On top of that the teenaged girl you see in part 1 that was supposed to be the 3rd child in the family isn't in the second film because shortly after part 1 was done the actress moved onto other films but was strangled to death by her ex-boyfriend. Creepy huh?
Anyway to add more to my paranormal paranoia I decided to look up more videos of random hauntings and poltergeists, shit like that. And after wathing them I could feel my paranioa raising like super fast. Needless to say I was on a paranoia high lol.

But anyway i'm currently working on more sketches time/work permitting... ya know the RL role lol.

Just a bit of an update, I managed to get the next sketch down. Though the inspiration for Freezinghot's pose was quite interesting. Her character managed to come out quite nicely and detailed in my style. But the fun isn't over yet, I still got quite a few sketches to do up, along with working the fast food business. Although earlier today I went with my friend to the mall to check on applications, and with a bit of elbow grease I just might (crosses fingers) get a job at a clothing retail store. Which definitely pays more than what I'm making at Wendy's.

I know I haven't been on so much lately. Some may be worried, specially my lovely lady. But there's nothing to fret I will be getting on SL possibly tonight definitely tomorrow.

The reasoning is simply I've had a bit of a work overload, my body didn't quite have time to adjust, especially with the HUGE amount of humidity up here in New Hampshire. It's redonkulous I know lol.
Though I have to admit I was gonna be on earlier in the week but we northerners got hit with one hell of a storm which knocked out our power for a bit of time. To which I gotta say when it comes to nature there's nothing cooler to watch than a wicked lightening show with tremendous down pours and high winds.
I would have been out there dancing in the rain if it weren't for my strange paranoia of getting struck by lightening, I guess I've had my fare share of close calls with Zeus and his make the little peon dance routine. But anyway I was quite pleased to be able to finish up with Toni's art trade, it came out rather nice. And i'd love to do some more with others. I've also got some profile pics I need to finish up on, as well a some concert advertisements for a band known as Recycled Percussion whom was featured on America's Got Talent recently to which I do believe they're in the final 40. And if they win, they'll get 1 million dollars. Meeting up with the band was a truly exciting experience and I'll be having more meetings with them next month.

Anywho that's currently what the dealio is, more art, more work, more lovies to my girl, and more fun. ^_^

Oh my God has it ever been a better month for me. Last week I took an opportunity to pick out a random image which can be found here -->Link.
And well I took it to the next step by sending it to the band member which is featured in the image. The band is called Recycled Percussion.
Now two days later they contacted me to tell me how much they liked it.
"That is some seriously sick shit dude! the detail is fantastic i just showed the guys they fucking love it, can i use that to put up on our myspace? and facebook?"
Later on that day they emailed me again.
We are putting a new branding team together for our band if u are interested in helping out and having your hands into our band designs etc we should meet up
Long story short I met up with them tonight where they discussed what they're looking for. Thus far I'm so stoked to do it, it'll be incredible. What felt even more amazing is there was a group of about 15 fans that also came to be a part of a public street team to build a fan base as well as bring out more and more events.
It's also where the band leader Justin Spencer gave me a disk containing all their logo's and images that I'll need to make the posters and advertisements.
On top of that work at Wendy's has been nothing but fun for me, the free food, the laughs and all that.

On another note there has been allot on my mind, things that's been stressing me out. For a while I couldn't figure them out, but I think I've figured out most of it.
For the most part it's money. My bills have been on my mind, worrying about how to pay them off, despite the new job. It's really been tough on me. Another thing that bummed me out was my inability to make it to AC this year, I really wanted to go.
And lastly, but first I must point out, being with Deja has made me more happier than i've ever been in a very long time, and for those that know me, when I make a promise I keep it. I've always been a man of my word. To which I made a promise of love to her, and I'll never stop loving her. Nor will I ever leave her. But anyway the thing of it is, the one thing I so want is to have that physical contact in a relationship. To be able to hold her in my arms, and make her feel protected. I love her so much it's unreal. Words can't even express how I feel, but it's just the lack physical contact, and nothing more.

Yea hehe i'm so excited I now have a job again. After 3 months of putting application after application I finally got the job!

Granted it's a job at Wendy's, I admit fast food isn't exactly a career and all. But right now money is money, which is something I need ever so terribly. So at this point i'm just glad I have a job now.

On another note the fireworks were kick ass. They were done by a company called Atlas Fireworks, which is based here in Manchester, NH. The cool part is this company actually competes in tournaments n such, and is currently for the 4th time in a row, National Champs in fireworks displays. So you can imagine how kick ass the show could have been.
I took videos of it on my camera, in which i'll probably post on youtube for you guys to see.

But in the meantime peace out folks, it's back to the drawing board hehe.

Yea with all the rain up here in New Hampshire going on the city had to postpone the firework to tonight. There's a nice local band playing below the bridge the fireworks will be shot off from so it'll be a nice show tonight.

Hopefully it'll come close to the awesomeness that the local radio station here Rock 101 put on to celebrate the 101 days of summer here in Manchester, which totally kicked so much ass.
To be honest it was my first actual concert I had ever gone to, and I never had so much fun. And I got to talk with some of the radio station DJ's there, and told them about my particular voice talents I have. For those that know me I'm capable of doing voice impersonations. People love it when I do Krusty The Clown and Quagmire. (for those that are TV challenged that would be Krusty from the Simpsons, and Quagmire from Family Guy lol)

I may do some voice recordings of my impersonations and upload them here for your enjoyment. Though I'm pretty sure it's a guarantee that people will tell me to do voice acting and what not. And trust me I'm looking into it lol.

Figured i'd post a bit of an update n what not.

At the moment I'm still, lawl yet I say it again, working on art. I got a really rawrsey type piece I'm doing on paper. *GASP* yes I'm doing it on paper, in which I'll be scanning it.
Allot of the influences I have to give props to  fisk he's always been a HUGE influence on my art and style as of late. Especially with some of his tutorials he's been working on. In which I really he hope he begins focusing on the differences in shapes in bodies as a whole.

On another note, I managed to get my first job interview in like 3 months of not having a job. Albeit it's a job at Wendy's, but hell a job is a job, and I so need money to pay bills and buy some new clothing.

Lastly in the world of music, I've had Disturbed's latest song from their Indestructible album called "The Night" stuck in my head for about almost a month now... I think. But the weirdest part is I just can't get enough of the damn song. Soon as the chorus rings out in my head I keep hearing it till I play the actual song. And still I manage to enjoy it every time.
And although I know with the recent passing of Micheal Jackson and all I'm sure there's allot of fans out there and all, and I'm sure allot of you have heard their fare share of the latest jokes about MJ. But to those that take offense to the jokes. Come on seriously, that's all they are jokes, whether the validity of them are true or not isn't up for debate. Just have a giggle as what it actually is... A joke.

With that said here's the latest I heard.

Well the inevitable has happened.
My cat whom lived to the age of 18, raised from birth much like his mother whom passed away about 2 years ago, has finally moved on.
I had to bury him around 1:10 this afternoon, where I buried him was next to his mother underneath the lilac bush in our back yard. Which seems fitting. But it doesn't make his passing away any easier. I know my dog is already missing him, they were best buds. My fathers pretty beat up about it, and my mother will be to when she gets home.

But in any case I don't intend to take any sorta reprieve from art n such. Drawing n such helps me get through things, but more so is spending time with my love. She always knows how to make me happy just by being who she is.
