I ain't kidden! I'm on my 4th round and either I keep finding new stuff or they correct the wrong thing.

*sighs* I've learned soooooo much from this already, I hope it doesn't effect my desire to publish "Obsessions."

Anyway...Book 1, Searching Arcania, came back to me this morning. I started reviewing and figured out that they stopped halfway through my last list. I've noted and returned what was missed. (I added nothing new, thank god.)

Once more unto the editors!

. . . has come back for it's 4th round of editing. (sighs) yes, fourth edit.

More woes I guess, but somewhat expected. After finding several "minor" errors, I planned on letting them go. Then I came across a few that I had to change. How I missed these before, I have no idea, but they're getting corrected now.

On the upside of all this, everything I'm learning from this process, I'm applying to the follow-up books "Obsessions", "Rights, Responsibilities, and Repercussions" and "Refugees" (which I'm currently writing.)

I got the second revision back from the editor yesterday. started reviewing the changes made and discovered that they have accepted over 120 changes that they were directed not to.

I sent a note to them about it, now to go blow off steam while waiting for a response. I think I'll go kill things in WOW.

Yes, yes. I'm that old, if 39 is old.

My granddaughter made her appearance about 2 hours ago. Annabel Kay is 18 inches, 6 lbs 11 oz. Both my daughter and her daughter are doing well.

My daughter thinks the worst is over. If her daughter is anything like her mother... well... probably not.

I'm gonna be PUBLISHED!!! My first novel Searching Arcania will be be going to print. Of course, first, there'll be a ton of editing and rewriting. (I expect this to be more work than writing the book was)

Needless to say, I'm ecstatic, elated, etc... I've dreamed of this day since I was a kid, (long time) and now it's here.

I'll be posting more details as things progress.

Just got of the phone with my chosen publisher, discussing the details of submitting my first manuscript to them. I'll be submitting Searching Arcania for review. I'm praying that they like it and my investment is affordable enough to move forward. If they don't like it, or it's too expensive, I have no obligation either way.

Sooo, Tuesday, my pregnant daughter got in an accident, with my wife in the car. All are ok, but have bruises from the seat belts, and some nicks from the broken glass. So, all home, car=totaled. *sigh*

On the upside, today's sonogram tells us that the baby's healthy, and that SHE is abt. 13 oz. My daughter, is having a daughter. My happiest though about this whole thing? She waited till she turned 20 before making me and my wife grandparents! My wife's happiest thought: Granddaughter!

It's all good though, despite being out a car.

With the last update of Roen's Tale, Roen is the last survivor of the group, and has stepped off a cliff. With Amsel already gone, what was he thinking? Who shouted his name? Is this the end?

No, not the end, but that's all I'm saying, for now....

Having spent the last week on vacation, at a wedding, and then house sitting, I've unfortunately fallen a bit behind. I've been working on it though, and should have the next chapter up within a couple days.

Blitzed through 'Origin of Arcania' faster than expected. 6500 words. Despite being about humans, it does give some back story of how my world came to be like it is. Humans, always tinkering with things...

I usually write in a first person style, but Origin was more third, but following a very small group.
