Hey homies im back.

I have zero concept of time so when I saw my last journal was posted five months ago I had to double check. Literally was like “ya I think I’m gonna take off like three months :)” and then here we are
I moved places, settled into my job, got Covid, got into hobbies for the first time in forever, been wild! But I think I’m ready to come back and do some doodles for you guys again!

Sorry for all my notes I didn’t answer for a while I’ve just been to busy with stuff I didn’t have the brain cells to remember I was talking to people so please forgive me lmao, but I hope you are all doing well! :)

Hi! Been a minute! Things have happened! I finished school! Woah!

First off I wanna thank everyone for all of the support I’ve gotten from you all in the last few years. I was able to live comfortably thanks to the commissions I had the privilege to do. It means more than I can explain with words. I love working with everyone, you’ve all been so kind and patient and helpful, seriously some of the nicest folks I’ve worked with.

With that being said— I’m gonna pause comms for an indefinite period. I got a lot of new things happening in my life and I need to focus on that first and foremost. I don’t know when I’ll open them again, but hopefully it isn’t for too long.
In the meantime I can finally have time to draw for fun again. I hope I can start posting more personal art and experimenting with shape and movement and colour and see where I end up! So that’ll be fun!

Hiya friends!

It's approaching the end of my semester so i thought i'd just let you all know what's up.

So I will be a lot less busy *hopefully* By the end of next week. My semester has been insane and crazy busy so thank you to everyone for being so patient with how long it takes to finish all of your lovely commissions. I will be working full time over the summer but with no homework to add onto that I shouldn't be too held up to do any work for y'all.
WIIIITH that being said I should also throw this out here-- ive been dealing with a wrist injury since October that hasn't caused too many issues until the last couple of weeks, I've been taking care of it the best i can but it has taken a toll on how much art I can do in a day. So even though I'm not as busy drawing full time all day might fudge my ability to draw beyond that, but I'm getting a new wrist brace soon so hope that helps. Shit happens-- but I wanted to let you all know if I cant work as fast as I usually do, that's probably why lol.

Thank you to everyone coming to me for work-- ive been able to focus on school and not work a busy job at the same time because of it!!!!

Starting my actual job again and I’m also so insanely busy I would be basically evil making you wait a month for something that cost $20 lol

Title says it all. I gotta go back to art school and be a good student so I can’t keep up with the demand. I’m worked to death every semester lol.

From this point on I’m gonna be taking USD instead of CAD. Shouldn’t be too big of a difference in price— but most of y’all hitting me up are in the states anyway. Just makes sense.
Anyone commissioning me now the currency will stay the same, but just a heads up from this point on!

So Trudeau (despite his many flaws) is a motherfucking g and is providing students with money that I finally qualify for (I think) therefor it would be dishonest of me to say I really need money when I don’t anymore lol.
With that being said IF I can get money I will be closing my sketch commissions within the coming weeks— so if you were thinking of getting one soon would be a great time to do so lol.
Animal crossing commissions will still be a thing though! Because those are fun and I wanna do more!

this is a two-part journal that I'm doing instead of messaging everyone that's commissioned me

first off holy shit thank you so much for all of the help you've given me, I'm about to make enough money to cover my rent for the next month, which is great. That way ill be out of school and be able to get a full time job over the summer by the time the next month was due ;-;

also to the five folks that I've been talking to for the other commissions-- I will be talking to you soon, I'm very tired, but I have you all on my list and I'lll be sending some invoices today and starting the other commissions tomorrow. Being quarantined is tiring and all I've done is lay in bed all day lol

Never thought I’d live through a pandemic but here we are lol

My college was just closed down and I’m out of a job because of it. It sucks lol. Might open some special deal commissions to keep my finances decent until I can work again.
I’m very thankful that I’m at least you g and quite healthy, but I’m sending my thoughts out to those who aren’t in the same position as me.

Super stoked. School is exhausting.

Climate change is probably my biggest stressor in life, and from all of the bad news about the state of the planet hasn’t done me much good recently.

I’ve been doing my best to do my part in making a change, I live a minimal waste lifestyle, I’m *almost* vegan, I’ve participated in numerous climate protests and have created sticker sets to sell in order to donate money towards wildlife and nature conservation efforts.

Thanks to you guys commissioning me I was able to make a small donation to the NSW Rural Fire Services to combat the devastating fires happening all across Australia. From this moment on, every $15 I make through each commission will go towards aiding the wildfire relief.
