I had a great time at Fureh. Hung out a bunch with  targetgrey and chatted with  hida. :D

Also ordered a bunch load of art that I will try to get through uploading over the next few days.

The front page does look better with the news journal back. I'm of two minds of mixing different art forms into one giant pot. It does make it more difficult to get exposure as a furry writer or musician and these mediums do require some more effort on the viewer to appreciate. Especially so with writing.

The user page is a mess though. The preview image is on the far left but now your gallery images are stretched out across the screen as opposed to huddling on one spot on the page like on the old UI. Might as well as make the thumbnails bigger and remove the preview image if it is going to take up that much space. The favourites list is getting less emphasis by being moved behind a button. Don't know how much people look through other people's favourites. I know I do but I think I'm in the minority. I'm not a big fan of the width = 100% formatting that is used across more of the user page.

Going to journals/gallery view there the full size link to the image is now gone. Options to hide or reply a comment aren't as clear as to which comment is going to be replied to or hidden. Before hide comment option was along the header and reply was along the bottom of a comment. Now both are along the bottom and don't look connected to either the comment above or below.

There hasn't been much change with uploading images or making journals. It would be kinda nice to be able to make a thumbnail while uploading images to the site but I don't think thumbnails are wholly functional yet.

There is some CSS wonkiness but that can be fixed with testing.

I thought the new UI looked optimized more for mobile devices but it doesn't really work too well on my phone (A Galaxy S4). It is functional in landscape mode but breaks down when I try viewing the website in portrait mode. I never willingly looked at a webpage in landscape format.

The larger banner is nice but makes the adverts look really out of place.

Anybody else getting it? I preordered it a week ago.

I'm often pretty busy from work so I don't get a chance to chat with many people. Sometimes I make journals where I ask people to ask me anything, could be TMI or not. Either way I like to get to know people better.
