Posted 11 years agoSorry for all the inactivity on here! things have been a bit busy lately but I plan on putting a few more adopts on here as well as a couple custom slots!
I'd also love to hear more about you guys and your chups! Have you made any stories about them? If so I'd love to read them!
Of course im going to update the basic info on chups soon so they'll be more detailed!

A: Unfortunately no, this species is a closed one and if it had a template people would be making them all the time.
Q: Arent chupacabras already a thing?
A: Yes they are! Space chups are only a BREED of chupacabra. Chupacabras themselves are an open species.
Q: Why cant i make my own space chup?
A: Every so often there will be chances for people to make their own chup! As a closed species though the owner doesnt want a ton of people making them left and right.

Theyre normally solitary and very rarely live in groups of 2 to 8. Space is vast and they dont often see another of their kind, unless they run into each other on a planet of some sort. (ex: earth)
Sometimes chups intergrate into a planets society and give up space travel.
Hooved chups are more likely to be in groups as they are friendlier and more curious.
Pawed chups on the other hand, prefer to travel by themsleves.
In groups, the females tend to be the leaders and keep monogamous relationships. Hooved males are normally shyer while pawed ones take more risks and tend to be on the violent side.
Courting:
Females normally approch the male in courting, as they are more dominate. Theyre only subissive with the partner they trust and love the most. Space chups can have homosexual relationships and can sometimes even breed in such relationships. Sometimes they find partners that aren't even space chups. In these relationships it is less likely that they can breed but occasionally theyll be a crossbreed. Crossbreeds arent fully considered space chups.

Posted 11 years agoTo keep the species a closed one I've decided to make it so there are 5 open slots for people to make their own chup design.
Others will have to either buy available adopts or design commissions.
This will go into effect on monday 3:00 PM EST.
Adopts will be up at that time as well for those who still whant a chup but didnt get one of the slots.
The slots will be filled as first come first serve and there will be a journal made about it too.

As of right now there are only 2 that we know of that have full ref sheets.
If you do have a ref sheet (something with more than one view of your chup) then note us with a link to the ref and we'll submit it here!
If you need a ref sheet of your chup you can get one from 
with a discount price!
Of course you can get a ref sheet from anyone you want, but has a $10 discount on any space chup ref sheet!

this is the ✧official✧ rule board for the closed breed of chupacabra known as space chups!
First things first!
You may only purchase space chup designs/adoptables from the breed owner
You may also design your own space chup but you MUST have it approved from those two first!
Any "space chup" design/adoptable purchased from another artist is NOT going to be considered a space chup and itll be seen as just a normal chupacabra.(sorry!)
To get your own chup design approved you must note this page with a link to the design and it must follow the guide lines stated in this guide sheet.
If the design doesnt follow the guide at all it'll be declined. If it just needs some tweeking we'll tell you what to tweek and once those changes have been made and we see everything is in order then it'll be approved!
Note: Chupacabras themselves are an open species for anyone to make! Space chups are only a breed of chupacabra! This breed does have a certain basic design to them that is closed. Thank you for understanding!
