So my friend's dog had puppies

They're lab/border collie/rott mix
I met them today and HOLY shIT

I've been thinking during the semester about getting another puppy when the summer comes around, and now that it's here, I want one but I am having some doubts!

We have a rottweiler named Tony (OH- HE'S THE FATHER)
And he is a LOVE and he gets along well with other dogs- BUT he is 80lbs and we live in a small 2 bedroom apartment, LOL

So that's my main concern about a puppy
Is the physical space

The one I have my eye on is one of the smallest in the litter and DEFINITELY looks more border collie

I have over $500 in vet bills that i just put on my credit card.
My beautiful, amazing king snake Pandora is sick and on antibiotics, and we're doing blood work to see if she also has a viral infection.
It blindsided me. She's been totally healthy the 3 years I've had her, until this year.

Hey guys. It's been a while.
My king snake Pandora, who I've had her whole life (3 years now) has developed a respiratory infection and something else that the vet is trying to figure out.
It's almost like she's having seizures, she flops aroind and swings her head, hitting it on the walls and hurting herself.
I took her to the vet and had her put on antibiotics, and they're doing bloodwork to see if we can determin the neurological problem.

The bills were $450.

Since I'm so busy with school and work, I haven't been able to throw up any new YCHs; I still need to finish a handful of commissions.
My friend  owl-flight has decided to give me the money from the first big YCH of hers to sell.

Living in my boyfriend's dad's living room

Aaaaaaaaalrighty then.

My boyfriend and I are moving out of here and into his Dad's temporarily, while trying to get on the lease there (his dad just bought a house and escrow starts on the 3rd).

Obviously taking a day or two long break from art. The move itsself is only going to take two days. I'll be at work for most of that time, so apparently my boyfriend is a super hero lol

Copy and pasted from my facebook status i managed to write earlier.

Today, at around 4am, Shane and Myself both lost a piece of out hearts when our dog Zelda unexpectedly passed away.

She was 14 months old. 
It was a very sudden death, she woke us up in her kennel in the middle of the night yelping, and by the time we got her out, she was gone.
The emergency veterenarian said it was likely a blood clot, or some other heart related issue, that at her age is extremely rare but not unheard-of. 
There was no way it could have been prevented, and no way we could have helped her once it happened to her.

We're both taking it very hard. She was my puppy. She was Shane's best friend. 
We will have to learn to let her go and to remember how to live without her being around. 
Her life was tragically short, but hopefully she had a wonderful ride.

It's going to be hard to truly understand this is really happeneing, but i know we'll pull through it.

Its my birthday tomorrow!
I'll be 20 years old. Which means Misty will be 20 years old, too. :)

On another note, ill be moving over christmas break, hopefully- we're still looking for a place. We have to find a house or duplex with a fenced yard who will allow a rottweiler, rats, and a snake.

Hi everyone

I've been feeling a little better recently
I have a neurology appointment monday to get some brain scans- I can help catch you all up on that topic after my appointment

Haven't been able to work on drawings yet but I am approaching the end of the semester aka more free time over break

Might have to move out into a new house with my guy and our rottie after January so we're saving our money- perhaps I'll finish my drawings in december and be able to do a few new ones.

Although I haven't been doing digital drawings lately, I HAVE been doing a figure sculpting college course and a drawing college course- and I'm excited to say that I am DEFINITELY improving in some ways! My shading is a lot better and I'll be attempting to carry that over to my digital work.

Hi guys.
Hey I've been drawing a little bit.. :)
I'm slowly working on the remaining commissions/trades I have.

So to the bulk of the journal,
Recently I've felt very depressed.
For some reason I'm having a second in depth grieving period over the loss of my grandpa.
The thing is, he raised me. He was my dad. They adopted me when i was a baby, and my grandparents have been my parental figures my whole life.
My grandpa (I called him Papa) passed away from cancer when I was 16. Now, 4 years later for some reason it's feeling like it just happened.
I'm going to talk to my insurance to see if I can get a couselor or a psychologist. I'm really hoping that will help me out.
Anyway, just wanted to share this. It helps a little to talk about it... I think.
