Help! Problems with my account!
Posted 14 years agoI had created a FurAffinity account awhile back and have enjoyed posting my artwork here at FA for some time, but for the last couple of days when I log on it appears I'm logged on to Facebook!

K'rrzina novel pre-orders
Posted 15 years agoOkay, so the K'rrzina novel is ready and I'm going to take pre-orders for a limited run of 16 printings. These will be the first official publication editions. Each of these will be at a discounted price of $7 each, plus $4 shipping and handling within the continental US. I'll have to check shipping rates if you live outside of that area.
Each one will be signed by the author (that's me!). If you're interested, let me know. The first sixteen people to declare interest will have the books reserved for them and, pending payment, will be ready to be shipped within a week. I have already received a few takers, so if you're wanting one, be sure to contact me soon.
The novel chronicles K'rrzina's very first tale, including her origin, and is 219 pages long. The book is in paperback format and measures appx. 4 1/4" x 6 3/4" x 5/8", with full-color cover.
Back cover: "It was supposed to have been a simple mission. Something went wrong. The Dark Matters Squad consisted of the best soldiers that the Freeworlds Interstellar Military had to offer and K'rrzina R'zir was no exception. But when she killed her entire team on Priatoris III there was no explanation for her actions. As an investigation is launched into the incident, events begin to unfold that will shed light on the universe's most ruthless killer."
Excerpt:
"She's still alive!" came the sudden cry from Dr. Arullan, his stark white eyes wide in contrast with his leathery gray skin.
"What?" the overseer responded, astonished, his wings rustling and extending on instinct. He concentrated on lowering them, grabbing the microphone from its base, and repeated the question into the chamber.
"Vitals are critical, but she's still alive!"
"That's not possible. I thought we had a confirmed termination!"
"Scan confirmed," the doctor insisted, shrugging helplessly.
The overseer ran into the chamber, Dr. Halifair and Colonel Germetrag following.
"This has never happened before," officer Xeldean remarked, anxiously going through the results with his superior as rapidly as he could. "The rack has never failed to execute. Should... should I activate it again?"
Get 'em while they're hot!

I'll still be around...
Posted 16 years agoWell, gang, I'll still be lurking around and continuing to post artwork, plus the BitB comic will still be updating each week, but I may not be as active as I have been otherwise. I am currently working on the first K'rrzina novel to prepare for publication as well as some other projects and I need to dedicate more time to meeting the deadline.
If you need to reach me, you can find me on the BitB forum ( http://bitbwebcomic.com/forum/index.php ) and you can always e-mail me ( http://www.bitbwebcomic.com/contact.html ) or send me a private note here.
I still look forward to your comments and favs and thank you for your support and encouragement, always. :)

May 25th - More than about towels
Posted 16 years agoTowel Day? Towel Day?
I'm assuming that FurAffnity is headquartered in the UK or something, right? Because no American company would overlook Memorial Day over Towel Day, right?
Let's be realistic here. Anyone familiar with Operation: Sea Lion? Had our boys not helped turn the tide at Normandy, Nazi Germany would have tried to invade Britain and they had a list of people... civilians... that would be captured and killed. People like celebrities, actors... and yes, authors.
People who were assumed to be homosexual? Rounded up and carted off to concentration camps. People who were too liberal? Carted off to concentration camps. People who were Jewish? Carted off to concentration camps.
You see, Douglas Adams was great and all, but Memorial Day takes precedence. You have to be free to be able to write and publish your works and our soldiers throughout history have made this possible.
Surely no American would willingly overlook Memorial Day in lieu of a trendy sci-fi thing. Surely.
"War - What is it good for? Absolutely nothing." Yeah, if you overlook the fact that it has ended slavery, overthrown tyranny, liberated the oppressed, and ended wholesale slaughter of innocents... yeah, then nothing.
Everyone please take time today to remember those who have fought and died for us, and those who continue to sacrifice. While some people are worried about whether or not they forgot their towel, others are worried about whether or not they will see their loved ones again.
Never forget.

FA Glitch? I can't access a note?
Posted 16 years agoStrange, but I have a notice in the upper right hand of my screen that popped up yesterday telling me I have a note I have received. However, when I click on it (where it says "1N"), the only notes I see listed are ones that are months old.

Do you have dreams or nightmares?
Posted 17 years agoWes and Greta are certainly having their fair share of nightmares lately!

The current story arc in Bat's in the Belfry has been going really great and I've received a lot of awesome feedback from fans who are enjoying the action/drama! :)
After having built a dimensional gateway to search for his missing wife, Uncle Buford has finally encountered the creature responsible for kidnapping her. But it's taken so long to find the creature that Buford no longer has the strength to defeat it. Can his nephew save the day and rescue Aunt Beatrice? Not to mention saving poor Greta?
We'll soon find out!
Also, the recent short story featuring Elsie and Nicky has been very well-received and I'm happy that it's given support and encouragement to many people who have felt their voice has not been heard. The BitB short stories have been intended to delve into spiritual matters more deeply and it's always good to hear from people who feel the stories have touched them.
Lots of thanks to our BitB fans everywhere and for all your support. Stay tuned for more comics and art on the way! :D

Hey there, gang!
Posted 18 years agoWell, I've had an account on deviantART for some time, but I've had some friends refer me to FA, so I'm giving it a try and going to post some of my art here. The layout's definitely different, so I'm trying to adjust to where I need to find everything, etc., so please... be merciful! :P
To introduce a little about myself, my wife and I have been doing a webcomic since earlier this year entitled "Bat's in the Belfry". It's at www.spacewolfomega.com
It's about a bat/cat named Wes who has inherited the Belfry Manor... a spooky old mansion with many secrets. His co-star is a reindeer named Greta and more recently a cat/raccoon by the name of Kaylie. It's definitely been a lot of fun and I'm hoping to share some of the artwork we have done and are doing with everyone here and hopefully make some new friends!
