LOST Finale [Possible Spoilers]
Posted 15 years agoI was in Mexico through the Sunday of the final episode and I got home at like 8ish so I thought I missed the first hour. Boy was my face red when I found out that the first hour or so was just the pre-finale showcase.
Anyway I didn't get to see it till a couple days later when ABC had it on their website. I loved it, It was masterful, powerful and touching. Sure it was shamelessly emotional at points, and some questions were un-answered and I felt annoyed about it, but most questions over the course of the 6 year series have been answered, at least most of the major ones. And many of the ones that were not have had some implied info, I believe, for the purpose of coming to your own valid conclusions. I'm also waiting for that extended cut as well as the answer session they said would be on the season 6 box set, so I'm good for now on the questions.
LOST is hands down the best television series I've ever seen. It's been a part of my life for 6 years, from the moment I caught an episode by accident in Spain with my parents, to the finale in front of a computer monitor with my boyfriend in my arms. I will never forget the journey, the stories, the experiences and the friends that I have shared it with.
When the big realization towards the end of the finale hit, I cried for the first time in what I can only speculate has been at least a decade.
I just ordered a music keyboard, the first thing I'm going to do with it is learn how to play Death and Life. LOST had some of the best music ever in a series.
Now let's end this post with a few LOST related links;

Back from Mexico.
Posted 15 years agoBack from Mexico, had a great time getting sunburnt at my uncle's awesome beach house. Attended a fabulous gay wedding. Congratulations guys. Let's see if my boyfriend will let me go back next weekend for a big party. ;3
Going to Mexico, and how about that Draw Muhammad Day?
Posted 15 years agoGoing to Mexico to my uncle's beach house for the weekend to attend a big fat gay wedding. I'll be back Sunday evening.
Don't forget tomorrow the 20th is the interwebbernet's big Draw Muhammad Day. FA has a big rule on the front page saying that any derogatory pictures will be removed. Why is that exactly? See if you do a search for Jesus on FA, you can see Jesus porn, furry Jesus, funny Jesus, and Zombie Jesus. Guess it's not a two way street now, so I'll just link my thoughts here.

Belated FC Pics and Other News
Posted 15 years agohttp://s16.photobucket.com/albums/b.....aniard/FC2010/ Thar be the pics I forgot to upload for anybody that wants to see them. A small handful are from friends though to round out the gallery.
Other news I forgot to mention, I moved out a couple months ago. Got out of Abuse-vile and into a nice 2 bedroom with my boyfriend. Things are going quite well so far.

Back from FC
Posted 15 years agoFC was lots of fun, when I can I'll post some pics. Got to hang out with a lot of great friends that I've known for years RL and others I've known forever just online. The big disappointments were that I passed out before the big dance and missed that as well as the big room parties. I also missed the sky diving excursion which I was really looking forward to because nobody reminded me about it.
Oh and thanks to the ever fun
yurimatsue for hanging out in our room a couple of times and making that last journal on my FA while my kitty and I were dancing at the Sunday dance. Also doing the Super Frankly Hentai dance in the lobby was total tits. I'll get the picture of that up when I can. SUUUUUPER!
Oh and thanks to the ever fun

FC Sunday Dance
Posted 15 years agoI love dancing with my kitty. We love to grind and grope hard.
Word up to my kitty.
WOOF!
It's not even full yet.

Back from Spain, oh and should I accept a job at Blizzard?
Posted 15 years agoForgot to make a back post, so I'm back from Spain, not much to talk about it was a nice family trip.
Though here is a question. So I promised my family I'd go back to school after I lost my last job, but just the other day I was kinda sorta offered a job at Blizzard. Should I go through with my promise or go take a job at one of the greatest game companies of all time? I haven't talked to my family about it, but man it's a tough one.
One friend very wisely said that school will always be there but a job offer won't. Problem is that my family has their hearts set on seeing me finish school. Though this could be a career move for me.

Off to Europe for the holidays.

Things just keep getting worse.. (Theft update)
Posted 15 years agoWell the blows just keep coming one after the other and each is more devastating than the last. I just found out that our home owners insurance does not cover a cent of theft...
When it rains it pours... (Robbed blind and more)
Posted 15 years agoHello folks, such a merry little season we have right here, and I'm having a wonderful time myself. I have just celebrated a birthday and Christmas is just around the corner, so why don't I count my blessings..
My house has just been robbed. About 10 thousand dollars worth of stuff have been stolen from my room alone. My 360, PS3, Wii, 80ish games, iPod, 250 dollar headphones, gun, camera, wireless router, the list goes on. The only reason I'm typing this now is because they were unable to steal my computer because it was too heavy and apparently fairly well secured between my computer desk and TV stand. Didn't stop them from trying though as it was nearly ripped out of it's little hidey hole, but proved to difficult. I have already changed the passwords on my PSN and Xbox Live accounts, gonna have to call Nintendo in the morning. I have boxes for all my systems, but dealing with the insurance company is going to be fun over all those games that were stolen because, well how am I going to prove I owned any of them, which sucks seeing as they were the bulk of the value at about 4 grand worth of games stolen. I got it the worst out of anyone in the house, cause the rest of what was stolen doesn't even come up to half of the value of what was taken out of my room. I don't even care about what they took, what gets me is the save files from all those systems that I'll never get back.
Right around the time of my birthday I was banned from a website I've been a member of since it's inception even though I haven't posted in about 2 months and the admins refuse to even let me defend myself.
For the last week I have had the worst most painful case of hemorrhoids I have ever experienced, bad enough that I think I might need to go to the hospital, but I have no medical insurance.
My university may have absolutely fucked me on registering for an upcoming semester because they told me the cutoff was on March 1st and I even have a piece of paper that states that, but I went to the campus today only to find out that it was actually November 30th and there might be nothing they can do to fix it.
I had tickets to the VGAs, but due to an error they had to reprint them for us and didn't send them in time for the event, so I had to miss something super exclusive that I'd been looking forward to going to. To add insult to injury they actually sent the red carpet tickets on time just not the tickets that would get me into the show. What's the point of going to stand around on a red carpet if you can't go into the show afterward, not to mention it was POURING that night?
Oh I could go on with more crappy stuff, but there is some stuff to be thankful for. I'm thankful that I have my health.. kinda.. =P I'm in good shape and getting better. I have a boyfriend that cares about me, good friends, I'll be visiting family in Spain just after Christmas, etc. I have plenty to be thankful for, just had to rant and get some stuff off my chest that felt like it was all happening at once. I'm already starting to feel a bit better. At least they didn't steal the Christmas gifts to my family and boyfriend.

Back from VGxpo/Big Apple Comic Con.. for like a few weeks.
Posted 16 years agoDamn, I forgot to make a post when I got back.
So Philly went well, the show was tiny though, about 2 thirds smaller than they expected it to be. But we did our job and we did it well covering everything we possibly could. Probably the best thing of the show was my interview with Tommy Tallarico. It was an awesome hilarious interview, and he even made fun of furries. Then he got us all VIP tickets with backstage passes to his Videogames Live show.
NY was HUGE, we interviewed a TOOOOOON of celebrities and had a 10x30 booth with a roped off interview area. I could name all kinds of people I interviewed, but pictures and video would be better. After you guys check them out you can always feel free to comment or ask any questions you might have.

P.S. About the Brent Spiner interview, that was probably my worst seeing as his sense of humor totally caught me by surprise and he spent the rest of the interview just toying with me as I babbled like an idiot.
Also to reiterate my last post;
Check out my submission for the Dorito Game Challenge!
unlockxbox.com/gameIdeas/gameIdeaDetails.aspx?gameId=1020
It's a contest between Dorito and Microsoft to create a new Dorito branded XBLA game. If I win I'll get tons of fabulous prizes and they'll actually produce my idea and give it out for free on XBLA
Right now my Dorito based game idea been accepted for consideration. Check it out, and leave a comment, it will help me out. I'm sure that judges will notice entries that have a high number of views and comments. At this stage I just have to get the judges to pick my submission to go through to the next stage, and if I make it to the voting stage I'll make another journal entry asking for votes.

People are still talking about Chewfox, so I might as well..
Posted 16 years agoweigh in.
The bottom line of what she did was wrong and there are no two ways about it. I will now explain why that is.
As much as people don't want to admit it, when she appeared on national television to talk about furries and being a furry, yes she was representing the fandom. When you go on TV and you talk about the company you work for, your religion, hobbies, fetishes, etc, you are representing that group. You become an envoy and a temporary public image for that group.
When representing a large and varied group, especially one with a dubious public image, you have to watch your words, speak carefully, and mind your Ps and Qs. Chewfox did not, she spoke in broad sweeping terms making carpet generalizations about the fandom as she spoke about her kinks and fetishes to a national audience. Her crime is that she had zero discretion when talking about a group of that already has public image issues, and not prefacing what she said with, "now what I'm into is this, but not all furries are", or "These are my kinks, but I can not talk about the fandom as a whole." She spoke very matter of factly, and made it sound as if all furries own fursuits and fuck in them and did not for a moment attempt to clarify the fact that only about 18% of all furries actually own fursuits and only a fraction of that 18% would willingly jizz on their 500-8000 dollar investment.
She compounded this by getting self-righteous and uppity when confronted about this by an angry fandom. She also parroted threats back at people waving her boyfriend in front of her like an angry guard dog that she was ready to take off its leash.
There is also just plain not thinking the situation through. You want to show furries in a positive light, so you appear on national television on a show which the topic revolves around crazy fetishes and bedroom antics? It's sheer brainlessness.
I'm willing to say that she probably had her heart in the right place, but merely was catastrophically stupid about how she perused the situation. She gets a pass on the fact that there was no malice to her actions, but also loses points in being absolutely unapologetic in the aftermath.
People went apeshit about the entire situation, and rightfully so, it's been a huge clusterfuck and yes the fandom has taken another blow that is going to take a while to get over. Yes people did over-react, nobody deserved to be threatened or wished dead, but to a point the anger was justified.
But those of you that think anybody that got mad at Chewfox is a big asshole, and Chewfox if you believe you did a great job, I would like you to look at the faces and reactions of both Tyra and the audience in that episode during the Furry segment. Then I'd like you to take in the fact that fursuiters have LOST jobs because of that episode and repeat yourselves. As a matter of fact, go find one of those fursuiters that lost their job, they shouldn't be too hard to find, and look them straight in the eye as you tell them that everybody is being a bunch of over-reacting assholes. Chewfox you just do the same and try to tell them that you did a great job.

Back from PAX 09
Posted 16 years agoWell I'm back from the show and man did we blow things out of the water.
It was our best show yet and we had hundreds of thousands of viewers over the weekend. Problem is that we were all pretty sick, but did our best to keep it together on camera. Somebody actually got swine flu at PAX YIKES!
Here are the pics I took from the show;
http://s16.photobucket.com/albums/b.....iard/PAX%2009/
And you can see a few of the interviews that have been transcribed to youtube here;
http://www.youtube.com/user/UFragTV#play/uploads
I interviewed at least 30 people over the weekend, so far they have about 4 or 5 of my interviews and a few of the other hosts interviews too. We were so amazing that we impressed the PAX organizers into wanting to talk to us about coming back for future PAX events!
Oh I bumped into the one and only Mysterious Mister Glenn there and we talked a bit. Always a cool fun guy to talk to. http://www.furaffinity.net/user/lilglenndoggy
So was anybody else there, did anybody watch our coverage?

Oh I bumped into the one and only Mysterious Mister Glenn there and we talked a bit. Always a cool fun guy to talk to. http://www.furaffinity.net/user/lilglenndoggy
So was anybody else there, did anybody watch our coverage?

Back from Chicago, I've got stories.
Posted 16 years agoSo I'm back from Chicago and everything went great. We had a booth right next to the entrance with 3 big screens showing off games and such, a 3 robotic camera setup, and a full staff running around. What I didn't know before, was that we were there under the request of Wizard World. The company running the con asked us to be there and cover the event for them, and was even streaming us on their front page, awesome! They were very impressed and said they want us to come back and cover NY Comic Con for them now.
I interviewed tons of celebrities and got lots of footage/pics. I'm still not getting paid yet, but the entire trip was all expenses paid minus about 30 bucks I put in at one point for lunch. Had a hotel right across the street from the convention hall which was nice and easy.

The footage is still being edited though and more photos are coming in, so all that stuff is going to be updated.
I got to interview so many great guys such as;
Camden Toy: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0870262/
Rowdy Roddy Piper: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0684929/
Doug Jones: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0427964/
Ed Gale: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0301839/
Jake Busey: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000998/
and more!
They were all so down to earth and nice it was amazing. I asked Doug Jones for a picture after our interview and he JUMPED into my arms! What an awesome guy! My boss thought that the Rowdy Roddy Piper was the best interview of the bunch though, but for me it was hard to chose. There were a few screw ups and stumbles though as you can see from the footage, for example I stumbled at the start of the Jake Busey interview because they just went, "Hey man we need you to interview this guy." and I was like, "What guy?" and they pointed at him. I said, "That's Jake Busey." "Yeah him, now sit down and you're on in 3.2.1." Clearly I went eep! and stumbled a bit right at the beginning because I got thrown into it, but then i was able to pick up the ball and save it all. At one point we were even invited to come to a celebrity cocktail party which was a lot of fun.
One bad thing that happened during all this was that there was a douche bag competing news team that was covering the event and then charging people for access to the footage. They didn't even have a booth and were not officially covering the event like we were. But that didn't stop them from going around and trying to besmirch us to the celebs so they'd interview with them instead of us. They actually went up to Ed Gale and said, "Don't interview with them, they aren't official, interview with us instead." Ed was smart though and said, "If they weren't official why do they have that huge booth over there and why are they on the front page of the con site?" They actually replied with, "No they aren't." Ed said, "What do you mean no they aren't? Yes they are, I checked them out myself, they are right on the front page of the website." To which they said, "Nu-uh" again, and Ed basically told them to screw off at that point. That was great, but they also did the same thing to the guy that played Chewbaka and he fell for it and gave THEM our timeslot! What pricks! But we got them good, we reported them to the convention and they will be dealt with, and then hilariously enough they got kicked out of the celebrity cocktail party for filming.
The most brain exploding and hilarious moment of the trip though was when I bumped into and subsequently interviewed a friend of mine from FA and didn't even realize it, neither did he until I saw him make a FA journal about being interviewed at the con and I went ":O THAT WAS ME INTERVIEWING YOU!"
It was Ritts:
http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/878285/
http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/881483/
That is so fucking hilarious!
I bumped into a few other furs there that I didn't know, but was able to recognize as furs from either tails or fursuits, that was cool. But guys, read my damn FA or LJ and when I saw I'm going out of town let me know if you live in that town! I missed out meeting a handful of friends that were either in Chicago or at the con because they didn't tell me when I made a journal saying I was going to be there! I'll be traveling around the world over the next few months from PAX West/East, to New York, to Tokyo, etc, so when I make a journal saying I'm going somewhere let me know if you are anywhere near by so you can swing by and say hi while I'm working!
That was basically my trip, any questions?
P.S. Oh yeah and don't forget to check out www.LAGtv.com and www.uFragTV.com all you gamers out there!

Back from Europe
Posted 16 years agoI'm back from Spain everyone.
A lot happened, overall the trip wasn't good or bad, but a combination of both.
Good:
Going back home and visiting my homeland. Beautiful evergreen northern Spain is really a sight to behold, that and the architecture. My home town is over 700 years old, so you know there is some awesome old shit to check out.
Visiting my family, I have such wonderful family in Spain, they are high society, but also down to earth and loving.
The food, the food in Spain is so fucking good, it's like sucking off an angel. Also my grandma's cooking is to die for.
Coming home with a few hundred bucks in my pocket from relatives I only get to see once a year.
Got a new suit, feel free to drool Steve. ;3
Bad:
Traveling with my pain in the ass American family, God I hate my brother, and my mother is by far the most irritating person I've ever traveled with.
I had some shit on my mind that I couldn't shake and kinda stuck in my head for a good part of the trip. Kind of hard to enjoy yourself when you have stuff on your mind.
Fell down a flight of stairs the night I got there.
My father can be a petty little girl at times, mixes well with his temper. The last day of the trip we had an argument over a magazine of all things and he decided to ignore me the rest of the day. Wow, dad, your son is leaving the next day and you decide to ignore him the entire last day you have to spend with him for the next year. Just before the trip ended, I lost a father, but gained a baby. =P
Came home to find that the house is now infested with rats. Nice house in a nice neighborhood, but you leave for a few weeks and you'd be surprised what just decides to move in.
Other than all that the trip went just fine. Did a day trip to France as well which was really nice, such pretty sights. Pictures might come later, have to see what mom took.

Posted 16 years agoThis year's con was much better than the last. The hotel didn't treat us like slime instead of paying guests and patrons which is nice. It was also a pretty hotel. Parking wasn't bad except for the first day where I was tricked into parking in the structure which costs 18 bucks and has an automated exit so you can't just wait for them to open the bar when there isn't someone on shift.
Hung out with a lot of friends, too many to list, made some new ones. Got really drunk one night, but not sloppy drunk. Brought an expensive bottle of Absinthe that was gone in one evening, good that everyone enjoyed it. The room parties were fun, I actually fell asleep in one while drunkenly cuddling with Fuzzy, I woke up when somebody stuck an ice-cube in my bellybutton. I went(commuted) Friday and Saturday evenings and had fun, but skipped out on Sunday because everybody told me it wasn't worth it as everything was pretty much dead at that point.
Drama did occur at the con, con staff was freaking out over it at a few points and a few naughty people had to be dealt with. Some con staff as usual was just a lil overbearing, better safe than sorry, but I knew they were out of line when they asked me to put away a bottle I brought with me while sitting next to the bar. I went to con-ops and talked to them and they told me it was ok and told the guy to leave me alone.
Thankfully any personal drama was relatively brief. It's also always hard going to a con and seeing all your exes in one place, but it's not their fault, just something you have to be a big boy about and get over. Though the one thing that was outrageously unacceptable was an ex best friend that had stolen my boyfriend and bragged about it(those of you that know me know the story) doing everything he could to rub it in my face the entire con. He actually got physical with me at one point when he saw me walking along running up behind me yelling my name repeatedly and then grabbing me to get my attention. He "innocently" asked why I didn't want to talk to him anymore, and when I told him to get lost and leave me alone he just ran off giggling and snickering to his stolen boyfriend. Then after that any time I happened to walk by in the small con they would start making out obnoxiously in public just to get under my skin.
After that I got drunk at one of the room parties, and at one point we came down stairs and decided to write stuff on the post-it board. I wrote "Put a check mark here if anybody at this con has stolen your boyfriend." By the next day there were already 15 checks.
Overall the con was good, better than last years, would have been great though if certain people didn't have to rub salt in a fairly fresh wound to get their rocks off.
Friends that I saw and hung out with, it was good to see you all! You know who you are. ^_^
