Abusive Relationship and escaping it...finally
Posted 9 years agoSo for a very long time, I've only told a few select people that I am extremely close with about the goings on and how unhappy I've been in my relationship. Which hurts more because I have two kids with the person that has done the abuse.
Now...it has not been physical abuse, not by far. But what he has done is Mental and Emotional abuse. And That has been going on for a VERY long time, it started after our first child then just got steadily worse after the second. He refuses to let me get a job, that's right folks. HE will NOT let me get a JOB and KEEP IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! when I went out applying to places after my second child was born. BEHIND his back because I KNEW he'd BITCH if he knew I was putting applications ANYPLACE. He did find out, because Yeah I got hired at Mcdonalds that lasted a whole 3 months before I quit because I was so TIRED of hearing HIM every single time I'd get home
He'd bitch about my job being shitty, my job not paying enough to even START covering a fraction of the bills, it didn't pay enough this way, that way, He wanted me to have some 15-20 dollar job that a person with a college degree/working on a degree would have!
Okay then whenever I try to work on anything art related, he has to peek over my shoulder, look at what im doing, and make biting remarks about my drawing, or the things I am drawing. When I was pregnant with my second child, I was friends with a guy in London, he had a girlfriend. I would talk to him on skype, via cam and mic. My partner accused ME OF cybersexing this GUY WHILE I WAS 8 1/2 months pregnant. Well I ended up cutting off ties with my friend in london, because of my partner being such an asshole.
Whenever I have a LITTLE bit of MONEY he wants ME to spend it on everything, Milk, syrup etc etc. THEN when I ask for money, HE'll whip around and start going 'what do you need it for' 'why do you need it' 'How much do you need'
The shit he's done it just keeps piling up, and then yesterday after I had gotten home from doing stuff with my mother and grandmother. Today, I call him out on everything, unload with both barrels. Bringing up the whole it's a burden for him to be home with the kids by himself, what does he say? YES it is a BURDEN to HOME with them by himself.
He called me a bitch today, walked out. Came back later and DEMANDED that I APOLOGIZE FOR calling him abusive! or it was the end of the relationship. Well instead of apologizing for telling him the truth. I started reading off signs of an abusive person/relationship. HE just got madder, and madder and madder telling me to STOP it. So he stomps off again saying 'you better call a lawyer.'
So yes...I did it, I finally fucking did it. I got sick of the shit to the point I stepped up and TOLD him about it, I know my life is going to be pretty chaotic moving forward from this point but, I don't think I care..I just am going to be happy to be OUT of a shitty relationship/abusive relationship, and taking my kids away from it too.
So yeah that's my life right now, and I know other people have dealt with abuse, or are dealing with it currently. It's hard to escape it, it's hard to feel you are brave enough to take the steps TO get away, but trust me..you can do it, research, have a good support circle, and have a plan of action/escape.

Getting back into my Coms
Posted 9 years agoWell things have been rough, my boys both are sick. My youngest has a sinus infection and is on antibiotics for it, my partner is on them now as well. My kids doctor, SAME doctor didn't bother giving Malcy J no antibiotic, she said if he is still snotty, come back in 10 days and then she'll give him the anti!
BUT WTF IF the youngest has a sinus infection and the FATHER has one and BOTh are getting the anti, WHY NOT just give it to the eldest too?!?! I mean fuck...you ever tried to sleep on a regular sized bed with a 3 year old and a 2 year old on either side of you? BOTH sick...
it's a nightmare..
Anyways I'll be working on my owed stuff, in between running back and forth with my sick babies, and in between my own lack of sleep.
So thank you all for the patience, understanding and respect during these rougher times for me

He's Passed on. RIP George Nicholas Katcher
Posted 9 years agoHe passed after my grandmother had left the hospice, and was here visiting and playing with the grand kids. She got the call, when she had pulled into her driveway at home, that he went.
Yesterday was my grandparents 32 wedding anniversary. He held on to make it through that day..
I'll be working on his memorial and just having some time to myself. I will try to work on due art, but please understand if I cannot get into it right now.

Very Dire Life Update :(
Posted 9 years agoMy grandfather suffered a stroke a year ago, on top of dementia. Sadly he had to stop the medicine that slowed down the dementia's progress, in favor of the seizure stroke medicine to help actually keep him alive.
Well this past saturday, he was doing fine. My grandmother was able to get him down stairs, he walked with her, he was able to talk to her, well later in the afternoon she notices that he suddenly is slumping HARD to his left side and was completely unable to talk and even walk. The doctors said it was another stroke...
I went over saturday night and assisted my grandmother, I had to lift 165 pounds of absolute dead weight from a wheel chair. While were trying to move him, my grandfather has his eyes completely closed and won't open them. We did get him upstairs into his bed safely.
Today my mother comes and picks me up, and we go to my grandmothers. We then take apart the entire dining room, this consists of a huge leaf let table, a grandfather clock, a desk, a set of drawers in a oak dresser. We then unload a twin box spring, frame and mattress from the back of my moms pick up, and we put this bed together. After this, we go upstairs to the second floor and take apart my grandfathers hospital bed.
THIS bed has railings the lifts the motor the flipping works...we got it apart, and then we got BOTH parts downstairs, we then put it back together. Afterwards...I assist my grandmother in getting my grandfather in his bed, and getting him undressed.
He has reached the point in the dementia where he is suffering from his limbs locking up, and he is unable to feed himself. He has lost a great deal of weight..and he is sunken in on the stomach and ribs...me and my mom both know...that he's not long for this time...We are setting up hospice to come in and help..make things easier..unfortunately we don't know how long it will take for Hospice to come.
Until they are set up, I will be doing night assists on Monday nights and Wednesday nights. If my grandfather does take a turn for the worse...I will try to post a journal because I don't know what I'll do, I know me and my mom have already been talking and we are prepared to be the rocks for my grandmother. She has been married to my grandfather for over 50+ Years now.
Just things are a little rough right now, and I hope that the people that have com'd me will be patient and understanding during these times. I will continue to work on the art, it does help me get my mind off of things, but if it goes bad I will be on a hiatus until I am mentally stable and things are solid again.

Well I got a few random pings and when I checked my phone someone was trying to get into my yahoo account, from California.
Wtf...well I checked other stuff, same thing. Attempts to log into my other accounts! I couldn't even log into furcadia...
This was yesterday. I moved faster then hell, I zipped all my art, all my stuff i've been working on, backed up important files. Then moved on to wipe my computer, after I wiped it I set up and changed all my passwords for EVERYTHING.
No odd pings now, I can log back into places, and i'm not missing anything of value from anyplace.
SO if anyone got emails, notes, messages or anything, yesterday anytime between 2-17-16 -12 PM EST through 1 AM EST today 2-18-16. IT was not me

Well the only time I ever transfer $ from my PP account, is once I finish the piece. SO the $ had been sent to my bank account, I finished the art! NOT to mention I ONLY give my PP information out when I take work!
Well I've not had a lot of time to check my stuff, I see an email from PP saying something about a dispute.
I check it...and lo and behold...anyways so I just want to say to whomever decided they wanted to get some free art and get the money back, fuck you. I have your email I will no longer take com's from you!
I hope if you watch me, you see this journal and know that karma is a cunt and it will come back and take a bite out of your ass!
I'm sure people are like 20$?! your bitching about 20$ well I'm a stay at home mother, I have two children I have NO job that brings me in income on a 2 week or weekly basis like some folks!

LIFE is Better! -Will Open for com work
Posted 10 years agoFirst off, I'd like to thank the people that did read my previous journal, and took time to leave me little messages saying I could talk to them if I so desired. Thank you, I know I did not contact anyone that left comments but I really do appreciate that people that don't know me, would wish to take time out to try and help :)
Also the people that also had my cellphone/email/Facebook and sent me little messages here and there just to make sure I was okay. Thank you guys as well, it really helped me to see that people do really care and it's not just some shallow bs of them typing it on a screen.
I have managed to schedule an appointment with a shrink! and It will be covered by the state and my medicaid insurance! HURRAH just that alone also sort of took some weight off my shoulders, I mean I know I have a problem and I know I need the help to further over come that problem, be it by medical means or just you know talking to a shrink.
Since I have come back I have managed to plow into my back work (TKK/Calendar stuff and icons) I can take on some other stuff.
I know before my hiatus and close down I had people inquiring about ref sheets, and some of the adopts I already have made that are still adoptable. If those people are watchers and still interested, please send me a note.
As for what I will do right now Com wise

Depression is a Bitch and I've been dealing with it.
Posted 10 years agoEver since before my birthday Oct 29th. I've been dealing with depression, it had gotten so bad that I didn't even want to work on my legos, and I LOVE my legos!
I stopped getting on my computer, stopped checking this, stopped responding to text messages, pretty much I shut down and shut off from the world.
It's going on day three, three days in a row (btw) that I've not felt like I couldn't lift my head, that everything was closing in around me and ripping me apart while trying to suffocate me at the same time. It's been a solid three days of feeling actually positive!!!!!!!!!!
I'm not going to try to overwhelm myself, but I do plan to work on some back due art.
It will be smaller things and if I am still feeling good I'll move on to the bigger pieces.
This DOES NOT MEAN I am open to take on more work.
I know I had a few people note me and ask about ref sheets, adopts, YCHS. Please those who asked, keep me in mind for future work, once I am 100% back and I have cleaned up my back log of work I will open!
I also want to thank the people that have com'd me, and have been waiting for me to finish. I'm thanking you, for not bugging at me non stop, and being understanding with my problem.
I do plan on seeing a doctor about this, but I've got lots of hoops to jump through before that can happen. Aka I have medicaid so I get to try and find a therapist that works with that, OR one that works with people that are unemployed. I know where I live, they are out there it's just hard to find them, get an appointment made (aka couple I called had NOTHING open for MONTHS) some weren't taking new patients etc. It's a biiiiiitch.
and I won't lie I reached a point in my depression where I actually thought about going to the Hospital and checking myself in, and I do mean the nut hospital, in case that's a what? Because I know some states have regular hospitals that have wards for mental patients, but where I live they have an actual Asylum.
Anyways That's an update on what's going on and here's me keeping positive and hoping the streak of clearer and more happy attitude stays alive.

Posted 10 years agoWell today has been eventful and not in the good way!
My eldest was running around and he tripped on one of his toys and sprained his ankle. I was first worried that it was broken, but it didn't discolor, or bruise up. It did swell but I got him laying down and propped his foot up with ice, while waiting for Daddy to get home so we could take him to the doc.
Nothing broken but indeed a sprain that has him set back on his playing. He cannot stand and put weight on it with out crying, and it's his dominate foot too, the right one =/
The co-pay was insane too x.x freaking 50$ co-pay and then still going to get a freaking whomping bill of what his insurance doesn't cover.
X-ray, visit, and I was told they are charging for the WRAP for his foot! WTF fucking insane. I'm already cringing in fright of what this bill is going to look like....x.x

This incident has set me back on icons for the day, I will be trying to get more finished and put up tonight. Due to this I will take coms for ANY of the icons, not just the one's I posted open for com's for.
all of them are 2.50 OTHER then couples icons, they are 5$ being as it's 2 in one!
My eldest was running around and he tripped on one of his toys and sprained his ankle. I was first worried that it was broken, but it didn't discolor, or bruise up. It did swell but I got him laying down and propped his foot up with ice, while waiting for Daddy to get home so we could take him to the doc.
Nothing broken but indeed a sprain that has him set back on his playing. He cannot stand and put weight on it with out crying, and it's his dominate foot too, the right one =/
The co-pay was insane too x.x freaking 50$ co-pay and then still going to get a freaking whomping bill of what his insurance doesn't cover.
X-ray, visit, and I was told they are charging for the WRAP for his foot! WTF fucking insane. I'm already cringing in fright of what this bill is going to look like....x.x

The bad, my tablet pen tip broke wednesday.
The good! I got a replace tablet pen in today!! which means I can get super caught up stuff. Ref sheets and major icons
The Ugly.
My uncles mother is at home with hospice, cancer in 4 places, very bad afib, and her granddaughter that told the doctor, I'm going to stop giving her the meds, such as her blood thinner. What will happen if I stop- The doctor says, she'll shoot a blood clot right to her brain, lung heart and die.
This is also the grand daughter that is pretty much probably going to inherit the house once the mother dies. She's such a shady bitch!
Now suggestions- What should I do for some future adopts, any input and idea's would be appreciated!

What a day, shit
Posted 10 years agoSo I had an inkling I had a virus or some sneaky malware on my system. I decided I wanted to watch Rose red and I DLed from FW, anyways..it came with sneaky crappity crap, that kept mucking with my system. Wouldn't let things stay logged on, would freeze things up and crash..
So yeah..this morning I got up and set to work getting the issue fixed...I had to back all my art stuff up, once I was backed up I set about to do the restore. I just got back on at 4 pm eastern time..and I still have to unzip and reload art stuff...
Top that off with having to lug an AC unit to my second floor, and put it in the window, my fiance's sister is coming to visit, and she'll be upstairs and the room well, you go in and shut the door you'd probably suffocate from the heat. So I got that in..but still What a day..what a damn day...
Now that all that is taken care of, I'll be rolling into the list and back due ref things to play catch up. Hopefully I can get some new stuff up and out.
Also the chibi's I've been doing, I will take coms for them, I'll do a chib for 3$ (Flat) and 5$ for (shade/highlight etc) BUT please understand they will NOT have boobs, penises, vaginas none of that. THEY will be PG

My 3 year olds Birthday week

Which means this week will be pretty damn busy for me.
Today me and the family are going to the beach, probably won't be home till 7 or 8 pm. Tomorrow is a big house clean, Wednesday a trip to MD, thursday hair cuts, and putting the cake order in. Friday my sons Birthday, and then saturday is his big party.
Which means, I'll be busy busy busy, and may not be able to crank out the icon com's as quickly!
Which is also why I have not responded to four other people about icons, aka getting the details and taking payments.

Posted 10 years agoIt's not a big price jump, and the reason I'd be upping the price by .50 Cents is because PP fees
=/ I got a com for a spread and exposed yesterday, well PP took a fee from it so my 2$ com became a $ 1.36
The way I figure it, if the price goes up by .50 at least if PP tries to take a small % I'll still clear the 2 bucks.
So would you as my watchers and new people interested, would you still com me, for these?

Posted 10 years agoSo I visit and mess around with f-list. Recently they have given everyone a lot of nice perks, which include more picture spaces, guest book etc.
Which is all really cool and shit, but the thing that just rubs me the wrong way- When someone fills that gallery with artwork of another person's character, doesn't give the credit, uses it, and even has people DRAW the character with other people and 'CLAIM' it's theirs, because they are rping the character.
Like wtf that's some serious bull fucking shit.
It's possibly different when they use A PIECE and MAYBE have permission from the artist, but filling an entire gallery with another person's paid art work is shady as shit.
Sure I get not everyone can afford stellar, awesome art, but that doesn't mean you take from someone else!!!!

Updates and such!
Posted 10 years agoI've been meaning to post a journal to let everyone know what was going on and the like! So here's some updates, because I do know I need to contact people about art info. I've been slacking on the art and such previously, due to the fact I had two very nasty cavities that were causing me a great deal of pain, all the time. It was hard to focus on doing art when my mouth was raging at me.
Thankfully a wonderful friend helped me, and I got them taken care of! Once that was handled I managed to jump back into the art seat and get some stuff taken care of. All's good until my two boys got sick with head colds! This is the 3rd time this year that the dreaded cold has struck. I managed to avoid the 2nd round but this time around. It hit me prettty good!
I'm still going and doing, but over the weekend is my time that I really don't work on a lot of stuff or post things up!
So monday i'll be working and hopefully have some new stuff up and about.
Also in regards to com work and such, I'm always open, all you need to do is send me a note and if I am very swamped already. I will let you know, and once I am freed up I will contact.

Pay what you Can- For Art com's
Posted 10 years agoSo I was thinking last night, I know not everyone's got 10$ to throw around for some sort of art of anything.
So I decided to try something a bit new, just for my WATCHERS.
Pay what you can for Art- Pay anything OVER a 1$ and I will do some sort of art thing for you.
It could be a bust, an icon, half a body, a full ref sheet, a bent over of the genitals, hips, butts, busts.
Here's the catch (of course, right?) IF a character piece HAS extensive markings, tattoos, piercings, etc. It most likely won't get picked for a full bodied piece.

IF you are interested in a pay what you can, then simply send me a note. Saying that you paid, make sure you include the PP address so I can check, include a ref picture of the character that you'd like something done, and I will get to work cranking out something for you!
