Updates (Virus & BLFC PreOrders)
Posted 5 years agoOkay everyone, here's an update on everything!
First, with the virus going around. Currently, our entire household has taken steps to ensure that we have limited our time in public, and kept any time in public very clean. So as of this moment, no one in our house has shown any signs of the virus. That being said, if myself or Dazzle do show signs, we will halt our work progress until we are better to eliminate leaving behind any trace on your projects. We are very clean people on a daily basis anyways, we have hand sanitizer in our workshop all the time and always keep ourselves clean.
Second, with BLFC being pushed back to October, we have two topics.
Some of you may have ordered/had friends get in on our Tail PreOrder. Since those were to be shipped out before the con anyways, we will resume work on those and get them shipped out in a timely manner still.
Also, since usually we need to block out time for the con on our schedule, this does mean that we will be working as normal anyways. Which means, all commissions are likely to move up (in other words, your current commission deadline is likely to be closer then expected). However, it is a tedious time-consuming task to completely move all of the project tasks on the Trello calender, so for now we will leave it be and keep people updated. When we have made enough progress ahead of the current schedule, then we will re-arrange with new Estimated Time of Completions.
So with this being said, please message us via Telegram SparkleKreations or email us at Karma[at]SparkleKreations.com with any further questions you may have! Thank you!

Posted 6 years agoI've had SO MANY do this in my quote form recently, so I'll announce here:
When it says "Please provide at least 1 of your preferred contact methods" it doesn't mean type in the word 'Twitter'/'Email'/etc because I'll never find you. It means provide your '@' or address.
I've been unable to send out some quotes for some really awesome characters because I spend a half hour looking for them & never find them. And trust me, I look! I search Twitter, FA, Telegram, etc for your character and never find you.
Also, when it says "We do not do Phone Texts/Calls, Discord, or Instagram." It means we don't use these contact methods, so if you only provide one of these, your form is ignored because we don't have a way to contact you.
If you haven't gotten a quote from us by the end of today, we recommend re-submitting your form with proper contact info if you are interested in receiving a quote from us before we open a few slots in November and January!

2019 Goals & Updates!

We have some goals for 2019 & important news.
First, we're going to work on our communication more w/all you lovely folks!
Also, we're focusing on projects/commissions more & working a bit extra to get our current queue complete by the end of the year.
This means we'll be posting & uploading more online (mostly Twitter & FA), answering messages more efficiently, & updating customers more frequently!
While this means that we'll sadly be skipping 2 cons this year, TFF & BLFC, it will allow us more time to meet our goals!

Next Convention: BLFC! Then, AC!

Our next convention we are attending is Biggest Little Fur Con in Reno, Nevada!
We are planning out a photoshoot set-up timeframe still, though crossing our fingers that we can get in the Fursuit Mingle-thing that the convention hosts. Once we get a set time and place, we will announce it everywhere! Otherwise, we are sadly not selling at BLFC this year (though we applied again for our second time, there was a lot of others who applied too). We will try for selling at BLFC 2019!
We will be at AnthroCon 2018 in the Dealers Den, at the same spot again!
This time, we have a new set-up, and we are planning to bring some new products! We have already begun our convention preparations, and we are planning out over 200+ tails, handpaws, fursuit props, partial suits, and more! We will also have a photoshoot set up for this convention as well, day and time To-Be-Determined.
Hope to see you guys at one of these conventions!!

About the Groudon Auction (& Apology)

As most of you may be aware of, recently we had an auction for a fullsuit of the Pokemon Groudon.
This journal involves that auction and how it was portrayed.
It was recently brought to our attention that the auction was confusing in terms of who made it, and that proper credit was not entirely given.
I (Sparkle) personally want to apologize to everyone that it confused, and I also want to personally apologize to anyone involved in the costume-making that I may have hurt the feelings of. It was never my intention to hide the creator(s), and it was never my intention to put out the costume as one of ours here at Sparkle Kreations. What happened was a mistake on my end, and I will briefly explain here.

I was unaware that the costume had 2 owners. I was also in a rush to put up the yard sale in it's entirety, and ended up originally not crediting the creator(s). This was shortly fixed to credit the creator(s), though it wasn't overly apparent in the sale.
The facts were brought to my attention that the suit had 2 owners, instead of just the one owner (who currently works with me), and plans were discussed of how to divide the final selling payment.

I was still unaware that this suit had a few more helping hands in its creative process until just today.
I wish to take this moment and give credit where it was well due, so that there is no more confusion and that everyone involved is properly mentioned.

•rektheartist of course, for contributing to the building costs, being patient and supportive throughout, and last but not least- bringing to life the BEST GROUDON EVER. You were meant to cosplay him, I don't understand how you're such a natural.

First off, we have updated our Public Queue List to now include an approximate date of completion.
This completion date is based on time constraints within the month, how long you have been waiting for your commission,
and how easy or hard it is to complete yours.
Next up, our commission opening.
It will be on Friday, January 19th, 2018 with limited slots for items.
The completion dates for those will be approximately Fall 2018, and a down payment for your commission is our main requirement.

Most tails are 3 - 4.5 feet long, can come with a free squeaker in the tip.

Some pre-made tails can be delivered to MFF. Others can be shipped early December for Christmas Delivery!

Back in the Workshop (Slowly)

If you haven't already heard, the surgery for me (Sparkle) was a huge success, and the recovery has gone very smoothly.
Starting this week, I am easing my way back into the workshop, doing small things to see what I can handle.
I am limited on certain things, and keeping my stress low is important as I complete my recovery over the next week or two.
Messages will slowly start to be answered, and work will start to pick up again.
Kazuma had gotten quite a bit done in my absence, so we should hopefully stay on target for our commission completion goals!
Thanks for all the well-wishes and support! You all are awesome!!!

Important News! (Gone for a week)

This came up rather quickly, but it is big news and requires a bit of a break from the workshop.
Sparkle is going in for surgery on Friday, September 22nd.
Don't worry!
It is a good surgery that he is looking forward to and excited about, and related to his transgender progress!
The scheduling came up rather fast, we just got it confirmed this Wednesday as well as some additional information about his recovery time.
It will take him at least one week to rest up, and doctors are asking him not to work during this time.
If he is feeling better after this first week, he can return to work at that time, though is asked to take it easy for the next week.
Then for 4 more weeks after, no heavy lifting or heavy excersize!
During the first part of the recovery, there will be no messages/communication until Sparkle feels well enough to get back in the workshop.
Kazuma will be working during this time to keep the progress on commissions moving forward, we have planned accordingly.
Thank you all for understanding, and stay fluffy!

First up is Dazzle, who is celebrating tomorrow, Tuesday the 11th!
Then, Sparkle has his birthday on Sunday the 16th!
