Blah.
Posted 16 years agoI'm over it. Lol. I lashed him with my tongue. Said some angry things. Demanded an apology..and I got one! "Happy wife, happy life" they always say.
Aero's art is halfway finished! I've been pretty procrastinate about my art lately. The sickness is really taking its toll. Even with Gaia, i've been rather slow. I hope things will pick up with me soon. I haven't even played SWG that much!
That's my excuse as of late.
I hope everyone here is doing good! I always look forward to see if there are any new submissions or comments. I do my best to keep up.

Stingey Men.
Posted 16 years agoMy husband really upset me today. How? Money, of course. As you all know, i'm not working and I am staying with my parents during the time of his deployment. He gets paid over 1300.00 twice a month while he's over there.
It started out that I would take 150.00 out every paycheck. 100.00 went to my dad and the rest was for me. Okay, I realized that 50.00 wasn't cutting it, since i've been going out with my friend for dinner a couple times, I would have cravings for Taco Bell, or that I even wanted some new clothes. Girly stuff right? Last paycheck, I took out 200.00. That was a daring move. But I used all 100.00. I helped my mom get some things and whatever. I had to get a humidifier and lots of medication.
Today I asked if I could have 300.00 for the two and half weeks.
He just flipped. "What the heck is so expensive that you need to have 300.00 for 2 1/2 weeks?"
I like the feeling of being secure, money wise. That way I can offer to pay when I go out with my friends..or I can buy dinner for the family tonight..He just doesn't understand. He should be happy i'm not the typical military wife who spends all of his paycheck on pointless stuff.
I ended up leaving him a message saying that I won't take a god damned penny out of his stupid account. I'll just make my parents pay for everything (Not that they are wealthy).
So I pretty much can't have a life. I can sit here and dwell about how lonely I am..and feel sorry for myself.

Halp!
Posted 16 years agoI've run a little far behind, being distracted by SWG!
I just drew a sketch for a "commission" from Gaia, and I am really uneasy about the character's right leg (when looking straight on). Help me figure it out? Does it look right?

After I finish up with coloring that sketch, I promse you, Aero that I will begin your request. I look forward to the challenge. Well, it's a challenge for me. But more practice, the merrier!
Terra is up after that. ^_^
Hoepfully I'll catch up soon.

I miss him. >.<!
Posted 16 years agoIt's only been a little over a month since he's been shipped out to Qatar. It feels like it's been forever, and there are still three months to go. Being sick isn't fun and I hate being away from him. This weather sucks, too.
I've been doing a lot of drawing these last couple of days. I opened an avatar art shop on Gaiaonline.com and I have been busy with that. How I wish we could make real money on that site, but we cannot. Lots of people are visiting my "shop" and ordering art. Gaia Currency, yeah man!
I also have a list of things to take care of here!
Which is no problem for me. I'm loving it and it distracts me from my woes.
Here's what's on the list:
-A request from Aerotan *Won in a previous journal entry
-Commission from Terra
-Unknown art for my brother
-A partner for Sabrina, and I want to make him dashing..if I am capable of creating a debonair male.
I also realized that I need to start coming up with some art that doesn't have just ONE subject in it-and a variety of poses. I realized that in almost every piece, the character has one arm hanging and the other holding something or just folded upwards. Lol!
Thanks for reading or skimming! <3

Doodeedooo.
Posted 17 years agoHi, another entry so soon? I KNOW, strange rly.
Here's what I have lined up:
-Create a partner for my new Sabrina character
-Small gift art for MattTheUmbreon
-Gift art for Aerotan (I now know who you are! )
-A project with TerraMcBass's guidance
There is one thing I have learned with the most recent art I completed: take your time. Patience takes you a long way.
Health update:
Went in to the doc's for my sinus infection and ended up making an appointment for an ECG, picking up a heart monitor, and a CT Scan in the future. What joy. I personally don't think my heart is in bad shape. It just beats abnormally fast. It frightened my doctor. CT Scan is for spotting any sign of Wegener's disease. Something my dad's father died of. I've been showing the same signs he did before he died, I guess. It's all up in my sinuses.
o.o! Okay. Done.

-Yawn-
Posted 17 years agoI've been stuck with a sinus infection for months. When I went in to the doctor's for it on base in September, she gave me three medications which made me more sick to my stomach. I missed my birthday because of those! D: I'm going to see a real doctor for it while I am here in NY. I hate the doctors on base. *Shakes fist*
Anyway, I drew a new picture and actually included a muzzle this time. My brother says she looks like a gypsy, but she's supposed to be a pirate, because people over love pirates for some reason. My scanner is currently not available so I cannot get started on coloring it. I'll try to get a link in here, just so you can see. (I took a picture) I'm proud of her face.
After I finish that piece, I want to draw a mate for her, and I have something in mind for MattTheUmbreon. I feel like I've improved since he commissioned me, and he deserves a new piece. Not saying anyone else doesn't deserve one! ^_^; In fact, i'll take a request in for the first two people to comment this! (Don't make it too awkward, please.)
Okay, that's all for now.
Toodle doodles.

Updates, I guess.
Posted 17 years agoSo i'm back in upstate NY. I'm already tired of the -10 degree weather. I can't stand it! I've been sick since I arrived here, about two weeks ago. (I'm always sick, but worse right now). Can't go to the doctor's until I fill some forms out for my insurance company. I need to do that!
I sparsely hear from my husband, I get an email every other day. I don't think he's too happy over there. Who would be, though?
I feel as though I am on a drawer's block. Or perhaps I am just lazy? Maybe i'm just discouraged. As soon as I find a mouse, I'll be more likely to color some of my drawings. I hate doing it with the touchpad on my laptop keyboard. My fingers get all crampy. Is my art not good? I don't see why people ignore it. LOL. It's not porny enough? Just not good enough. Won't stop me from trying, though. I quit DA for now. So sick of that place.
My old bony cat has been keeping me company all day every day. She's such a sweet heart. Very soft and fluffy. When I left NY nine months ago, she was as fat as ever. Now she's just skin and bones. So sad.

Merry Christmas, now go to Qatar!
Posted 17 years agoWell, my husband just found out he's being deployed to the middle east on January 9th, and he's sending me back to the cold depths of hell. (AKA Syracuse). I know he will be in a safe area, but i'll miss him terribly.
This also means i'm downgrading back to my crappy old laptop for four months. Not that it matters much to anyone here. =P I just hope the quality of my art won't deteriorate too much..or if i'll upload a whole lot.
No Christmas presents for me. All that money is going to my plane ticket.

Hello thar, furrez and moar.
Posted 17 years agoHey, thought i'd make a new journal. Why not? it's here. =P
First, i'd like to thank MattTheUmbreon for being my first "customer" on this site. It really meant a lot that you'd commission me. So, this won't be forgotten in the future.
I would also like to thank TerraMcBass for leaving me comments on all of my pieces and giving me thoughts on biographies for my characters. Very nice of him. So I had taken a request from him as my thanks. Glad to have the practice as well.
My husband has been building me a computer, and it's 99% completed, so I decided to do my most recent piece "In the Nude" on it. I also now have an updated version of Photoshop, so it was really fun to see the huge difference on colors and options. (I went from a laptop to a desktop). I am quite pleased with how she came out. I only hope to improve.
I am happy I joined FA. There is a much more welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere than D*cough*A.
Well if you read this, thanks for reading updates.

Weehee.
Posted 17 years agoI will first start off thanking everyone who has commented and welcomed me to the site! And thanks to my twin brother for directing you all to me.
I am interested in doing commissions, however I don't want to start them until I am able to get a couple more pieces submitted in to the gallery, and get a feel for innocent furry art. Can't sell your art if you are not confident in it, right?
Anyway, I pretty much have a lot of time on my hands. I stay at home while my husband goes off to earn the monies. I should probably get a job, but I don't feel like being miserable all the time. I do keep the house clean! Well, most of it. The computer room is off limits, because I don't know where to put things nor do I want to mess anything up.
I have been drawing since I could hold a crayon in my hand. Ask my brother, he knows. I took three years of cartooning in high school and only one "real" art class back in like ninth grade. I regret it now and I wish I had taken an art class in college, but I was too stubborn. Anyway, I always outline and color in Photoshop. It's the only way I know how to color my drawings on the computer. It's very time consuming.
Okay, i'm done.
