BLOG!
General | Posted 16 years agoMan, I have not been here for a while. And for that I'd really like to apologize. Hopefully I'll be around more in the future, but right now I have to put emphasis on school work.
I've started a blog (solid-state-studios.blogspot.com), which I hope to update more frequently with the stuff I'm working on in school, as well as write ups of other artists that I've come across that I think more people should know about.
So, please, check it out. And if you'd like a write up, or have a friend you think deserves one, please send me a message at either of my email adresses (soccersparkscr@yahoo.com or sparksel@msu.edu)
See you in the summer!

Hello! And sketch commissions
General | Posted 16 years agoHey everybody,
I just got this account after my friend acidapluvia recommended that I do so. (I'm also sparksel.deviantart.com on deviantart, so feel free to visit me there as well)
I'm currently studying art in college, and I'm interested in starting to do commission work. So I figured, hey, the fur community has some of the most interesting character designs in the history of ever. E-ver. Why not start there?
Therefore, I figured I'd offer $10 sketch commissions as a hello of sorts, if anyone is interested :) (terms of service below the annoying break)
But first! Examples:
conlan o'taige
Nicholas
kean and calista
sketchy references
Evie
Leslie
Daphne
These all took approximately an hour or were done while I was doing something like not listening to a lecture. If there's a style that you particularly like, please specify, and I'll do my best to imitate what I did in that drawing :)
In a perfect world, I'd be happiest just sitting around and drawing things for people. But because it's not a perfect world, I have to acknowledge that sometimes other things will come before art. Mostly schoolwork, if I'm honest. So: I will try to have a decent turnaround time on these things, but life sometimes gets in the way.
Orders will be filled in the order that they're received.
Payment on sketch orders is to be up front and in full. I prefer paypal, but if you absolutely have to pay by cash or check, we can talk.
I will not take on pieces that make me uncomfortable. By the same token, there's not much that makes me uncomfortable, so feel free to ask.
I would like permission to display finished pieces in my online galleries, and will ask for permission during the course of our correspondence. This will be an opt-in rather than an opt-out system.
Finished pieces will be sent as a high resolution scan to the customer. If you should want the physical copy of the piece, the cost of shipping and handling will be added to the original sale price and must be payed before I ship it.
If there are any questions, feel free to ask :)
