1. I'm single, still looking for that special lady who will hopefully provide me with ample opportunities to cuddle her and be cuddled by, among other things (snuggles!).
2. I put others before me. It may not be a bad thing, but I do it to such an extreme that I'll fall apart before letting those around get upset by my cause.

Ok, with the job hunt going BLEH and me getting nothing out of it other then too much interview experience, I had an idea... Use what money I have to purchase a license for a video game engine called Game Maker 7 and give making my own games a try. Granted, this engine isn't top of the line, and my arting skills SUCK, but I had an idea for a game that could very well be fun fun...

Basically the general gist of it would be a online multiplayer top-down tank combat game with 3 sides fighting it out. Each side (likely red, blue, and green) would each have a flag, and the goal is to get both the other team's flag to your base without loosing yours. Sounds simple, but with enough people, a creative map, and an ability to communicate, this simple game should be quite fun.

Now, I would distribute this game free of charge (likely finding somewhere to host the files and linking it here), but it would instead run off of donations... For you see, I have no job, so this may turn out to be my only source of income right now. If you can't donate anything, thanks for playing, enjoy the game. If you can though, it would REALLY help me keep working on the game, making it better, and perhaps one day making more games.

However, the catch is that this can be a rather risky move, since I'll be working off of donations by people I don't know, as well as my own skills as a programmer/artist/etc. That's why I'm asking all of you here watching me for your opinions.

About time, after MONTHS of searching for a job with nothing to show from it (aside from a lack of sanity and a growing hatred of applications), I've finally managed to secure a job for myself, and hopefully a steady income as well. What's the job, you may ask? Why I'm going to be painting houses! Granted, it'll only last until October, but hey... ANYTHING is better then nothing at this point. Ideally I'll be able to secure another job now that I won't have to put down that the last two jobs I held I was fired from...

Anywho, to make things even better, my birthday's in about a day! Yep, July 8th is my birthday, and while the 20th year of my life has been a sucky one at best, I'm hoping the 21st will be better. Else I'll be spewing gibberish as I live out the rest of my days in a mental hospital if things keep getting worse.

Oh, and still alone, when I thought I had a lady, I really didn't... Kinda a downer, but I suppose I'll find some lady that'll love to be with this insane gryphon.

Life has been... Interesting so far. It's certainly got some hills and valleys to it, and I'm hoping looking back it was more hills then valleys. But instead of complaining about how dreary life is and being all emo and whatnot, I'm not going to do that. I'm better then that.

So instead, other, more happier news in it's place. The first one being that soon (July 8th) it'll be my birthday! I'll finally be 21 and able to give alcohol a go at it... While making sure I'm not driving. Or doing anything else that'll be hazardous and/or illegal. Finally, I recently hit over 200 page views! May not seem like much, but I'll take my victories where I can get them, thank you.

 Avinz For being both a wonderful artist and person, as well as giving this gryphon mod powers over her art stream she holds periodically. I've also met quite a few people through this stream as well... Most nice, some... not so nice. :B

 AsukaNatsuki For being a wonderful person, who listens to me rant and rave, both when life is up and when life is down for me. I thank you from the bottom of my heart... Life would be harder if I couldn't share my feelings about the world. She's also a gifted artist as well, and opening up commissions! VISIT HER! :D

 Kittyfaith For expanding my horizons of the world, as well as showing me how others feel about themselves and those around them. I admit, some of it is unsettling, but that's ok... Better to know then be ignorant.

 Spetsnaz-Invidika For being a wonderful person, who we had a rather odd relationship to start with, but turned out to be a fun gryphon to be around.

And finally, for everyone else that I didn't mentioned... I didn't forget about you, this entry would just be FAR too long to take the time to mention all of you! This goes for those whom I talk to with on a consistent basis and those who honor me by watching me (stalkers... :P).

First off, I'm gonna say that oops... Time flies when you're busy with life. Seeing that I want to prove that I'm not dead, here's an update of what I can remember happening since I last posted a journal here.

I decided against writing a story and posting it here. Why? As much fun as it is to RP, both on forums and via IM, writing a story solo just bores me. You may see short stories from me at random, but I make no promises. I rather just not post material I'm not happy with, but feel compelled to continue a project I have little interest in.

I recently began playing SWAT 4, and while I enjoy the game and all, it does have it's moments for me... For those of you that don't know, SWAT 4 is a FPS where you take control of a squad of SWAT officers, and bring justice to criminals, with an emphasis on realism. In short, you can't run and gun through the levels, and you die VERY quickly. Also, you can't use deadly weapons without at least shouting "Stop! Police!" because if you don't, your score gets penalized. Oh yes, this game KEEPS SCORE of how you do. One time, I was clearing out the last room, (after throwing in teargas, mind you) and I spotted a suspect, coughing while holding his gun pointed at the ground. Pulling out my taser, I was horrified to watch him fire the gun and kill a hostage, automatically making me fail! Needless to say, i was quite ticked off at that, and refused to play the game for three days. However, I've since gotten past that blasted level and am happily making progress again.

I'm still without a job, and when I got called into an interview with Best Buy, they mentioned that they were looking to fill quite a number of positions. What irks me is that I never got a call back to schedule a second interview (Best Buy does 2). This has put me in a rather... somber mood, since I felt like the interview went well, yet they didn't like me enough to hire me.

I'll try to keep my head up until I get a job, despite having no money and stopping college as a result of lack of funds. Things can only get better from here on out, or so I'd like to think...

Right then, first off my plan of what I intend on doing over the next few weeks or so (or however long this takes) is to post up a couple more characters (most likely one, maybe two) then actually get started on writing up a story involving my characters... This has two purposes, the first being that it saves me the time of introducing my characters (somewhat) and the second being that I'll have a few characters to work with, and can let their personalities bounce off each other a bit. While I RP a good amount (and this can lead to quite a bit written down), I've never really written a story by myself. I'm curious to see how this goes, and I already have a basic idea of what's going to happen... But I'll likely not plan the whole thing out. After all, my characters may have a say about that and it may get interesting.

On to other (less boring perhaps) news, I'm sure most of you have seen those failboats and failtank images and whatnot. In case you somehow have NOT heard of these types of images, it consists of boats/tanks in rather amusing situations that make you look at them and go "What the heck is going on...? What was he thinking?!" Well I suppose I had a rather ironic experience not too long ago. You see, I was driving along and alongside the road I see a semi truck pulled over by a cop. I really did not think much of it, other then noting the fact it was a Budweiser truck. Never thought much about it until I read in the newspaper that the driver was arrested for driving under the influence. May not be as good as one of those failboat pictures, but it certainly made me laugh... Wish I had a camera then.

So yeah, in short I plan on introducing a couple more characters then starting up a story, and I somehow got into lolcat land. I once read that those born under the year of the Dragon (1988 here, I was) were eccentric. Yep, that's me. That could be putting it mildly...

*Gets showered by control panel messages*

Well, I get two commissions done of the same character done by two different artists, and the next thing I know, my control panel is screaming at me like "YOU HAVE ONE HUNDRED MILLION MESSAGES!" *throws messages at Sparra* "DEAL WITH THEM!"

Ok, I was exaggerating a bit (a lot actually), but compared to how dead this profile was (since I mostly lurked, and really did nothing with it). The activity I got today was both amusing and somewhat surprising. I'm not trying to win any popularity contests though. ;)

To those that are watching me (from the bushes, OVER THERE! I SEE YOU!) I thank you. I'm not one to visit every single person and thank them for watching me, and perhaps you may not even see me comment on your work and whatnot... It does not mean that I don't look and I don't care... It's the opposite. Every message that little control panel tells me about I go through and read it/look at it/listen to. I suppose I'm just not talkative, that's all. Even one day it may end up with like 60 messages, I'll still try to go through them... Keeps me busy, at the very least!

I happily await more control panel spam. :D

Right then, I figured I may as well DO something here, instead of appear to be all mysterious and whatnot... Or appear to be some sort of lurker (which I admit, I am here) at best, and a leecher of some sort at worse. So here I am.

I guess a good way to start is that I can't draw. Any attempt at drawing normally ends up either looking REALLY bad, or it turns into something completely different then what I intended. I once drew a pinecone and it turned into a pineapple. How? I don't know. It just did.

However, what I can do is write. I don't write stories all that often (really only for school), but I'm an avid roleplayer. I have a number of characters that I RP as, each with their own different personality... And all female. I swear, I did not intend for that to happen, it just did. To make matters worse, I'm male. Needless to say, this can create some rather awkward situations (I don't do adult situations in the RPs I'm in, for this reason among others) but overall it's fun. I also tend to shy away from typical stereotypes and adapt more interesting personalities to the characters I RP as. Perhaps I'll do a small write-up of each of my "major" characters that I frequently RP as here on a later day. It'll help fill out my profile some so it's not so boring and empty. Who knows, someone may notice!

So yeah, I suppose that's a good way to start... Hopefully I'll start doing something with this profile here soon enough, and more importantly, consistently. I don't care if anyone reads this or not, I just felt like throwing this out there. Here's to a semi-active profile!
