I DO NOT support Free Fur All
Posted 3 years agoI DO NOT support the convention Free Fur All.
I did attend the 2022 convention as a dealer, but I absolutely did not know about some of the horrible people staffing the con or that they let attend the con.
I just thought it was a new con with dealers tables available. I had never been to Oklahoma before and thought it would be a fun trip. It was only after the con that upset friends informed about me some of the awful people that where there and the racist meanings of some the items they were wearing. At every convention in the past 24 years that I have been dealing at conventions it has always been the convention staff's job to keep bad people away. I never thought I would have to investigate the staff before attending a convention.
I was duped and feel taken advantage of. I will not attend the convention next year.

Furry Party/Potluck July 1, 2017[Austin]
Posted 8 years agoGreetings Furries!
I am throwing a Furry party/potluck on Saturday July 1, 2017.
Party starts at 5 PM and lasts till 11:00 PM. Sorry no crash space.
For our Furry pleasure I will play the features below.
1) Sherlock Hound-Traditional Animation
In this Japanese production, to which Hayao Miyazaki was a contributor, the world is populated by anthropomorphic dogs. I will be playing the following episodes.
Episode 11: The Sovereign Gold Coins
[23 minutes 1984]
2) The Monkey King: Havoc In Heaven's Palace-Live Action & CGI
This Chinese big budget blockbuster starring Donnie Yen and Chow Yun Fat came out before the Monkey King II, which I played at the last party. See the birth of the Monkey King, his training in Magic by the Gods, his dealings with demons, and his destructive attack on Heaven. This film has lots of cool anthropomorphic creatures. Note this is the original 2014 Chinese version, not the altered 2016 Hollywood altered version.
[120 minutes 2014]
3) Sheep and Wolves-CGI Animation
I imported this Russian Wizart film from New Zealand after I was reminded of its existence by my friend Keegan Bucy( AKA Rodrigo). A herd of peaceful sheep are terrified when a pack of wolves moves into the valley next door. Things get complicated, and funny, when a young wolf competing for leadership of the pack is magically transformed into a Ram. The character designs of the anthropomorphic creatures in this movie a absolutely charming.
[81 minutes 2016]
4) Used Cars-Live Action
There is nothing Furry about this film directed by Robert Zemeckis. I am playing it because it is simply one of the funniest films ever made and I want to share it with you. A lying, cheating used car salesman struggles to fulfill his promise to his boss not to allow the dealership to fall into the hands of his ruthless brother. The salesman played by Kurt Russell employs all manner of unique and possibly illegal methods to push cars as things spin ever more out of control.
[81 minutes 1980]
This is a potluck, so bring whatever food you would like to share or show off.
My address is
3214 Arroyo Bluff Ln.
Round Rock, Tx 78681
I am really horrible at giving driving directions
so please use Google maps or Mapquest.com. If you need to get in touch with me my phone number is (512)-289-2608.

In this Japanese production, to which Hayao Miyazaki was a contributor, the world is populated by anthropomorphic dogs. I will be playing the following episode.
Episode 3: A Small Client
[25 minutes 1981]
2) Little Dragon Maiden(Yang guo yu xiao long nu)-Live Action
In this bizarre Shaw Brothers, Hong Kong, production a young man becomes the martial arts pupil of a young woman called, "Little Dragon Maiden". Much strangeness occurs including an odd relationship with a giant pot bellied bird having a partially exposed brain.
[92 minutes 1983]
The following two movies both prominently feature the Chrysler building in Manhattan, New York.
3) Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows-Live Action and CGI
In this big budget production the Teenage Ninja Turtles must fight against their escaped nemesis, Shredder, his anthropomorphic henchmen Bebop and Rocksteady. and an even larger menace. Just an action packed, pizza chomping fun movie. Splinter the rat looks great.

4) Q The Winged Serpent-Live Action and Stop Motion Animation
A huge flying creature starts raining blood onto the streets of New York City. What is this creature, and what is its connection to a mysterious cult? Furry Party/Potluck October 15, 2016[Austin]
Posted 9 years agoGreetings Furries!
I am throwing a Furry party/potluck on Saturday October 15, 2016.
Episode 1: The Four Signatures
Episode 2: The Crown of Mazalin
[50 minutes 1981]
2) Shinbone Alley-Traditional Animation
This is a story of love between a suicidal newspaper man reincarnated as a cockroach named Archy, and a freedom loving female alley cat named Mehitabel. It is based off of the Broadway musical by Don Marquis and the great Mel Brooks!
Notable voice work is provided by Carol Channing and John Carradine. The animation alternates between various styles which gives the film a psychedelic feel, perfectly reflecting the time it was made.
[93 minutes 1970]
3) Chupacabra Versus The Alamo-Live Action and CGI
A DEA agent played by Erik Estrada fights against a hoard of goat-suckers with the aid of gang members and his estranged soon, while taking shelter in The Alamo. This film is badly made with muzzle loaders being fired like semi-automatic weapons! I am definitely playing this one for laughs.
[88 minutes 2013]
4) Crawl Or Die-Live Action
This film is an ever worsening nightmare of claustrophobic horror! An elite team of soldiers protecting the last fertile woman of earth are hunted by an alien monster through a maze of steadily shrinking tunnels, until there is no choice but to crawl or die! This film actually gives me nightmares.
[90 minutes 2014]
This is a potluck, so bring whatever food you would like to share or show off.

Furry Party/Potluck July 25, 2015[Austin]
Posted 10 years agoGreetings Furries!
I am throwing a Furry party/potluck on Saturday July 25, 2015.
Party starts at 5 PM and lasts till 11:00 PM. Sorry no crash space.
For our Furry pleasure I will play the features below.
1) He-Man(2002 series): Traditional Style Animation
This episode features, "Stinkor" a small teddy bear-like furry creature originally named, "Odiphus"that was turned through a magical accident into a humanoid skunk-like creature. Oddly he seems to be the only creature that Skeletor genuinely likes in his evil crew. Here is a quote, "Because, unlike the rest of you, Odiphus has proved himself useful!"
a.The Sweet Smell of Victory
[23 minutes 2002]
2) Jupiter Ascending-: Live Action and CGI
A young woman is unexpectedly targeted for death by aliens. Lots of fun animal-human hybrid creatures in this beautifully made film that has quite a bit of Flash Gordon influence in it. Can a human woman love a creature with animal DNA? I cannot believe this wonderful movie was completed in 2013, but not released until 2015!
[127 minutes 2015]
3) Leafie, a Hen Into the Wild( Madangeul Naon Amtak)-CGI Animation
This South Korean film has been released in the United States as, "Daisy: A Hen Into the Wild", but only on DVD, so I imported the South Korean Blu-ray. Leafie, a Hen, escapes from a truly disgusting egg laying operation so she can enjoy the freedom she has been denied all her short life. She is then thrust, gladly, into the role of motherhood after she adopts an orphaned duckling. Can Leafie keeps herself and the duckling from being devoured by a hungry predator.? Be prepared to shed some tears, this one has some incredibly cute, as well as extremely sad parts, it is an emotional roller coaster.
[93 minutes 2011]
ADULTS ONLY FILM FOLLOWS
The following movie contains a large amount of adult content, and is just incredibly disgusting, really no sane person should watch it, so after "Leafie, a Hen Into the Wild" ends everyone under the age of 18 years old must leave. ABSOLUTELY NO EXCEPTIONS.
4) Zombie Ass, Toilet of the Dead-Live Action
I love the Japanese people :) Some friends traveling in the woods are doomed when they enter a village in which inhabitants have been infested by giant spleen inhabiting parasitic worms. If you ever wanted to see beautiful women engaged in battle using giant worms from emerging from their rear ends then this is the movie for you! However, I encourage you to NOT watch this movie, it really riddled with toilet humor and gross feces.
[85 minutes 2011]

This is a potluck, so bring whatever food you would like to share or show off.

Paramount Theatre: Nightmare Alley & Reign of Terror, June 7
Posted 10 years agoGreetings Furries!
I know there are some Film Noir fans here.
The historic Paramount Theatre is showing the 1947 film, "Nightmare Alley" on Sunday, June 7, 2015 at 2:00 PM. I will be attending the show and I would love to have some Furries join me :)
I will be hanging around the theatre at around 1:30 PM.
Paramount's Theatre's description of, "Nightmare Alley".
Directed by Edmund Goulding
Starring Tyrone Power, Joan Blondell, and Coleen Gray
Matinee idol Tyrone Power uses his considerable charms to carry out some unusually dark deeds in this jaw-dropping tale. The actor gives an against-type performance as a carny with a heart of stone whose ability to manipulate people brings him fame and fortune and, eventually, despair.
DOUBLE FEATURE
Even better this is part of a double feature so afterwards, at 4:10 PM, you can stay and watch the 1949 film, "Reign of Terror".
Paramount's Theatre's description of, "Reign of Terror":
Directed by Anthony Mann
Starring Robert Cummings, Richard Baseheart, and Arlene Dahl
Can film noir and the French Revolution coexist? This unique thriller answers with an emphatic yes. It’s the story we all skimmed over in our history books, of the evil dictator Robespierre and the brave men and women who brought him down, but with scarce lighting and skewed camera angles and, of course, a femme fatale. Don’t miss this rare opportunity to see an unsung classic.
Here is web site for the shows at the Paramount:
http://www.austintheatre.org/site/P.....lm_series.html
Here is the very important parking information, as this theatre is in the heart of downtown:
http://www.austintheatre.org/site/P.....atredirections
The Paramount it is true national treasure dating from 1915 which originally started of as a vaudeville theatre, before films became popular. Just sitting in this beautiful theatre makes me smile. Of approximately 1,200 theaters designed by John Eberson is one of the less than 25 still in existence. Here some information about its history:

Furry Party/Potluck May 30, 2015[Austin]
Posted 10 years agoGreetings Furries!
I am throwing a Furry party/potluck on Saturday May 30, 2015.
Party starts at 5 PM and lasts till 11:00 PM. Sorry no crash space.
For our Furry pleasure I will play the wolf related features below.
1) Wolfy the Incredible Secret:-Traditional Style Animation
In this wild French production, provided for our pleasure by Dave Huang, two unusual friends, a wolf and a rabbit search for the wolf's lost mother in a the middle of carnivore festival. Will their friendship survive? Will the rabbit avoid being devoured?
[80 minutes 2013]
2) Wolf Cop-Live Action
A drunken, ineffective, slob, sheriffs' deputy is suddenly given great power when he is transformed into a werewolf. Unfortunately the group of thugs running the town now want to carve him into little pieces.
[79 minutes 2014]
3) Ringing Bell-Hand Drawn Cell Animation
One would think looking at the poster of this film produced in Japan by Sanrio that this was really lighted-hearted, cute film, which would be completely incorrect. Instead this is a violent, story of incredible sadness and cruelty made so Japanese parents can teach their children the horrible truths of life. A sweet little lamb's innocence is destroyed when a marauding wolf savagely kills his mother before his eyes solely for protecting him. He then dedicates his life to one purpose, killing the wolf. Even though this is a brutal film, it has beautiful hand-drawn, cell animation, rivaling Disney's best work.
[47 minutes 1978]
ADULTS ONLY FILM FOLLOWS
The following movie contains a large amount of adult content so after "Ringing Bell" ends everyone under the age of 18 years old must leave. ABSOLUTELY NO EXCEPTIONS.
4) Werewolf in a Women's Prison-Live Action
This wonderful film combines two of my favorite genres, "Werewolf" and ,"Women In Prison( aka WIP)". A women from the United States is incarcerated in a corrupt, third world, prison after her fiance was mutilated and killed by a unidentified huge furry creature, even though she herself suffered a nasty bite wound. This film has all the WIP favorites: girl on girl violence, lots of beautiful breasts, lesbianism, forced prostitution, torture, deranged kinky prison staff, and then adds a ferocious female werewolf that rips off limbs in her quest for bloody vengeance!
[85 minutes 2006]
This is a potluck, so bring whatever food you would like to share or show off.

A young boy and his talking animal friends fight a greedy landlord named Tobias Tin Whiskers, who desires to take over the family farm. They get help in the form of a very special contract from an unusual customer.
[24 minutes 1983]
2) Maleficent-Live Action and CGI
My mom turned me on to this Disney retelling of the story, Sleeping Beauty. A winged fairy girl befriends a human with tragic consequences. I was very surprised how wonderful this film is. The visuals are gorgeous and actress Angelina Jolie plays Maleficent to perfection.
[97 minutes 2014]
ADULTS ONLY FILM FOLLOWS
The following movies contain adult content so after "Maleficent" ends everyone under the age of 18 years old must leave. ABSOLUTELY NO EXCEPTIONS.

She then gets employed by a hot springs hotel patronized by obnoxious, sushi ignorant, business executives. [91 minutes 2012]

Peter Cottontail also known as the Easter Bunny, goes on a gory, bloody rampage against the Catholic church after it tries to remove all references to him in Easter celebrations.

Synopsis
The Firebird
In the enchanted garden of Kastcheï the Immortal, the Firebird appears, chased by Prince Ivan. The Firebird tries to pluck golden apples from the magic tree, but Ivan seizes her and will not release her until she gives him one of her feathers as a pledge of help should he ever need it. She flies off.
The darkness dissolves, and Ivan finds himself at the gate of an old castle. Eight maidens come out, led by the beautiful Tsarevna, who tells him that this is the castle of Kastcheï, a magician who attacks passing travelers by casting spells on them. The couple dance. As dawn arrives, the maidens must return to the castle.
In spite of Tsarevna's warning, Ivan decides to follow them. As soon as he opens the gates, bells ring out and a crowd of strange figures rush from the castle, followed by Kastcheï.
Kastchei advances on Ivan and tries to turn him to stone. But Ivan shows him the Firebird's feather. She reappears and forces the crowd to dance until they fall exhausted to the ground. Suddenly, Kastcheï appears and mortally wounds the Firebird. As she lies dead, Ivan steals the great egg that contains Kastcheï's soul. He throws it to the ground. Kastcheï dies, and his spell is broken. The captives are restored to human form and the Firebird is reborn.
Tsarevna and Ivan are married, and everyone rejoices.
Agon
“Agon is the Greek word for contest; the movements of the ballet are named after French court dances. The score was commissioned by New York City Ballet with funds from the Rockefeller Foundation and dedicated to Lincoln Kirstein and George Balanchine by the composer, Igor Stravinsky. Together, Balanchine and Stravinsky designed the structure of the ballet during the creation of the music. The outline for the score specifies in detail, with exact timings, the basic movements for twelve dancers clad in simple black and white costumes.” (Balanchine Trust)
“The design of Agon has a satisfying mathematical neatness. The ballet calls for twelve dancers: four men and eight women. Dressed in practice clothes, and working on a bare stage, they perform in various combinations, distilling centuries of dance tradition in barely 24 minutes of concentrated virtuosity. The structure of the ballet can readily be seen from the score.” (Jones, 2004, Agon in Context, ballet.co.uk)

Paramount Theatre: The Birds & Frenzy, August 17, 2014[Austi
Posted 11 years agoGreetings Furries!
The historic Paramount Theatre is showing the 1963 film, "The Birds" on Sunday, August 17, 2014 at 2:00 PM. I will
be attending the show and I would love to have some Furries join me :)
I will be hanging around the theatre at around 1:30 PM.
Directed by Alfred Hitchcock
Starring Tippi Hedren, Rod Taylor, Jessica Tandy, and Suzanne Pleshette
Hitchcock goes back to the du Maurier well, this time for this tense, richly metaphorical horror film about a series of increasingly violent bird attacks that plague the town of Bodega Bay in California. These bizarre incidents leave themselves open to a wide variety of thematic interpretations, which is usually the sign of a great work of art.
DOUBLE FEATURE
Even better this is part of a double feature so afterwards, at 4:35 PM, you can stay and watch the 1972 film,
"Frenzy".
Paramount's Theatre's description of, "Frenzy":
Directed by Alfred Hitchcock
Starring Jon Finch, Alec McCowen, and Barry Foster
Made in the twilight of his directing days, this Hitchcock crime thriller turns the genre on its head, revealing the identity of the murderer to the audience at the very beginning of the film. This unique approach changes how we view the movie, inviting or perhaps even forcing us to identify with the man we know to be the killer.
Here is web site for the shows at the Paramount:

Here is the very important parking information, as this theatre is in the heart of downtown:

The Paramount it is true national treasure dating from 1915 which originally started of as a vaudeville theatre, before films became popular. Just sitting in this beautiful theatre makes me smile. Of approximately 1,200 theaters designed by John Eberson is one of the less than 25 still in existence.
Here some information about its history:
