How to post the Uprora edits?
Posted 3 years agoThe edited Uprora stories are just nearly done. Does everyone think I should edit the text and files in the original postings in my gallery, or should I delete those and make new posting altogether?
The original Uprora is (almost) no more
Posted 4 years agoAs of now, the entirety of the original Uprora series, along with some of my older stories is deleted from FurAffinity as with my plan to get rid of content involving minors if you remember my journal. If not, you can see it here
It's a little bit of a hard pill to swallow given how much these stories changed my life, but this is an important step. I had my fun guys, but I want to make things less weird, so right now I have absolutely no regrets. Besides, the originals are safe on my computer. I haven't done this yet on DeviantArt, so if you want to read the series one last time go there. Edits to the current iterations of Uprora are almost done, and my only regret, if you can call it one, is that it's impractical to edit the entire document to be better (though maybe I should try?), because oh boy my current writing is so much better than my older style. A testament to how far I've come. After all, the Uprora remake came a year after the original.
But yeah, to the people who'd been following me since day one, thank you SO MUCH!!! I could not have made it this far without all your kind words and support over these 4 YEARS! Ever since I found I wasn't alone in my fascination for vore, when I didn't even know the word, it's a been a crazy and happy trip! My characters have become a source of love and self confidence, while the friends I've made from it have been nothing short of the best!

My 2021
Posted 4 years ago2021 had the best and the worst for me.
My freshman year was all online, and 2021 was the second semester. It was pretty awfully depressing, and after doing poorly on Computer Science I began to think programming may not be for me.
I was wrong.
Sophomore year, first time on campus, and it's amazing. I'm into a lot of my classes, and really really enjoying myself. I was a succeeding massively in programming now that I was learning in person. Not only that, I was doing so well in Game Design I was helping out the professor by helping out other classmates with their questions. I'm going to make games!
While I haven't gotten as much writing as I would like, it's still been enjoyable, and I have something big for you guys! Two things actually! One is a story, but the OTHER IS BIGGER! Plus, big time of learning more about myself, like figuring out I'm heteroromantic asexual. It was a surprise at first, but looking back in my life it only made more sense. It's doesn't change anything really, such as life goals, and I wasn't going to make it public but may as well include it as a big moment of 2021. Plus, HALO INFINITE FINALLY CAME! It'll come no surprise to you all how big of a Halo nut I am! To top it off, I actually visited Comic Con this year and I want to make it an annual thing from now on!
But yeah, lots have happened, probably the worst being that psycho art thief who had it out for me, but thankfully haven't heard from him in forever. Games Workshop banning 40K fan animation was a big downer. On top of it all was just not being able to help my friends as much in their time of need, which has been a lot given it's 2021...
Some honorable mentions, those who have an FA at least, but I couldn't account for everyone! I love you all for brightening my life!
Still being an awesome Rex and the reason I have as many friends as I do now!
Helping me out with my first D&D session, not to mention being a great fellow!
Such an amazing person to call one of my bestest friends!
Always someone great to play games and chat with!

Posted 4 years agoI posted this on my Discord sever on the 13th of September, and I was hoping to get all the edits done THEN make the announcement here, but I've just been too busy. Might as well make it anyways.

So, @everyone, there has been something bothering me for a LONG time. I first wrote Uprora when I was 16, a minor, and so I wrote myself as a minor in it. The problem is, vore is a fetish, and even if you don't see it that way, others will. Ever since becoming an adult, I've realized that issue, and time and time again over the years I have considered doing this, so I'm just gonna do it. Proper people will avoid treating Uprora as such because it has minors, but others won't notice that fact or they'll forget, and then you just have the few atrocious people for purposefully seek it out.
The Uprora remake series will be edited so that Jake's age is 18.
I will also be editing certain bits so that things like the 'orphan' situation doesn't become a plot hole. I've already begun sorting things out and Chapter 1 has already been edited. It might lead to whole pages being redone but we'll see.
And you guys might hate me for this, but I have come to the decision that Thor and Hope will be removed from Uprora as if they never existed. This is happening. Nothing will change my mind. I'm sorry, but this is the best way to resolve the issue. I also don't find them memorable, as cute as they are. I mean I forget they're there all the time. The family is crowded because I just went all out when I made my first stories, which were the first chapters of the original Uprora. Excluding Hope and Thor, the family is 8 members strong if you include Cipher. You have to admit that's a lot for a single group of characters.
In fact, it came to me that maybe I should remove Max too? I promise guys I'm not in some impulsive mood, but when I thought about it, I keep forgetting he's there. It honestly dilutes the whole good experience for me, cramming characters that don't have a personal resonance with me in the group that means the most to me. I think I will make it so that he'd have moved out, so he still exists, but we don't see him much.
When I apply the edits to the preexisting posts, I will be posting journals on FA and DA while also making a second announcement here.
Please understand, I don't want this issue to exist anymore. I'm fixing it. I promise, this isn't some massive downgrade for Uprora, but even if it was it's for the best. On the plus, this means a lot of new possibilities are opened for Uprora.
As for my past stories that involve minors, especially things like "The Change of Heart" and "A Snake's Friends" I don't know what I'll do at the moment, be it leave em, edit, or just outright remove, but I'll worry about that later and take it one step at a time by just focusing on Uprora right now.

College begins yet again
Posted 4 years agoWell guys, it was a fun summer. While I wish I had gotten more done regarding my hobbies like writing stories for you guys but I worked so much at my job that just REALLY paid off.
And alas, college begins again, and this time in person. Since I won’t be behind a computer screen so much this year, maybe I won’t be burned out to the point writing is something to avoid?

Posted 4 years agoAugust 26, I move into an apartment with my best friend as my roommate. This will be my first ever move away from home, and I'll finally be doing college courses in person. It was a real shit show last year doing it online, so hopefully, things will be better
It'll also pretty much mean I can't write anymore, though I've been writing a lot, I haven't managed to actually finish much. I'm taking 6 classes so wish me luck. Actually, pray for me xD

My Uprora chapters keep getting bigger help!
Posted 4 years agoI got almost the amount of words in chapter 6 as I did in chapter 5 and I'm still got so much more to write! I've got this pattern that after every chapter my word count for each raises! This'll be an issue for both the time it takes for these to come out and FA's character limit for descriptions!

Posted 4 years agoSo on March 16 I reached 500 watchers, and right now on the 22nd of April I'm at a whopping 563! That's an average of two watchers a day!

This time instead of a ban the guy deactivated his account, but if you ask me he might just be ducking out and will reactivate it sometime.
I don’t like talking about him, because it provokes him, but I feel I should say something.
