This week is spring break, and then after that it seems my classes are switching to in person with Zoom attendance for those who can’t come.

It’s a bit sudden, because it’s only been an unsure topic up until this point. I got a week to get ready. I’m not sure what else to say to be honest. I’ve been so used to online class, and moving out is a big step

I picked one and got started (I won’t say whose it was but you know if you got picked.

But these are on hold. I only just overcame the hurtle of working assignments straight for like 5 days, then had my weekend job in the mix, but I’m going to focus on getting one personal story done. It’s a good call and is already bearing fruits, so it looks like I’m getting to the productivity in writing I want.

Technically 504, but when I reached 500 the other day I actually wanted to wait to announce because I recalled a certain someone making alt accounts to avoid bans, so it wasn't really 500 yet but NOW WE'RE HERE!

I have been trying very hard to write, and I'm only able to when easily when it becomes passionate for me, which has been rare. I will say that Uprora chapter 5 has gotten a very nice chunk done, though it still has a lot of work ahead of it!

I'm so happy right now, and that's saying a lot when this past month has been just staying up late to do assignments and in actual pain from sinus allergies. Matter of fact I'm up late cramming right now while writing this.

Another curious little survey, just asking how people found me in the first place before watching me?

Getting back into writing and want to do itty bitty stories to start the flow. What's an idea you have that would be very small, like below 1000 words at the most, and preferably around 500? To give an example of how this would look like, it should start in the middle of the scene, where the beginning tells what is happening at the present, gives a brief summary of previous events, goes through the scene, and ends telling what happens after.

I know this is pretty much out of the blue, and I'll admit I'm writing this right after I thought of it. You can submit your and/or a friend's character (with their permission of course). You can ask for any of my characters but I will be VERY picky about what I choose involving them. I will be making no promises about doing your idea, how many I do, or if something comes up and I won't be able to pick any. I don't think I'll be doing WIPs either, but I will let you know privately if I start doing it, and give you the story if I end up finishing it.

No set schedule. No real competitiveness. No mic (yet). Just might stream what I’m playing if I feel like it.

Computer almost setup completely. Had to use one for school and couldn’t work on the other until it was ready, but now it pretty much is.

As for writing, most likely I’ll do a warmup story before getting back to work on the YCH.

This was just a rough setback that I’m finally glad is on the verge of being completely over.

Also, due to requests to commission me to write another Among Us story, I plan to do another Among Us story YCH once this one is done, which I would love to hear thoughts on. I understand haven’t exactly been the most productive with writing even before the computer incident, but I haven’t been idling either.

So... since my Alienware 17 R3, which is like 7-8 years old now, couldn't get the stuff I needed for some of my classes, it was decided that I would get a new computer rather than wait for the replacement, and would instead refund it and get a new one.

So yesterday my dad and I visit a place to look for a new thing, and they didn't have the Dell Precision 5750 (and I was disappointed because I LOVED the thing) but we got a Legion 5 by Lenovo, which has 3 times the memory (extra D: hard drive) and better graphics (I think? Not familiar with how graphics processors are ranked), but lower overall power and half the RAM. The biggest drawback is that it wasn't for work stuff, so the Function keys were inverted by default, and I could go on about other stuff but I'll just summarize and say it's not the best for writing stories on.

And then today... right after I install all the stuff I needed for school... 27 hours since I bought the replacement... someone knocks on my door and hands me a package with my name on it! THE REPLACEMENT WASN'T SUPPOSED TO ARRIVE FOR ANOTHER WEEK AT MINIMUM! I was dying in laughter once I came over the shock!

So I got two now... and there's no need to really send one back. I swear God has a sense of humor sometimes...

I guess I'll use the old Alienware for the [b]BIG[/i] games I got? Legion as a little portable gaming thing. The Precision I'll write and do school on.

Also while I fell behind on school when my laptop broke, I'm also working hard. Really hard. I'm proud of myself. I'm hoping to start writing again soon guys.

My computer can't be fixed, and a new one is coming in 2 weeks to a month, so I'm stuck with an old thing that has a broken battery in the meantime, and I already gave away my previous laptop when I got my new one, so I'm stuck at my work desk which is in the open so less privacy to do my writing and other stuff. Writing has been sporadic lately, but since this happened it's been at a standstill. I had to catch up on school after this, and... *sigh* it's been a week

Another little question poll, because I like hearing what you guys like about what I post! All my visual art is commissioned, so which one do you like the most?

So for January I took and intersession class (which didn’t go too well so I was somewhat lacking in time)

But now I’m back to a full on semester, and to graduate I need to take five a semester. At least I got one other in my belt now.

I’ll have to wait and see how busy I am before starting any more YCHs, no matter how eager I am to do them

So given how well the YCH I’m working on is going, I’m definitely doing more in the future.

I have a few ideas for more YCHs, but I also think I’ll reopen the Among Us YCH, because it’s pretty much almost a two person commission with how much freedom you have to change it.

But what would you like to see? I’m not trying to steal ideas, I just want input. (You have a serious chance to shape future YCHs to your liking right now. Remember, I don’t think I’ll ever open full on commissions.)

Some ideas:
-Jurassic world voring gyrospheres (inspiration from a friend’s art haha)
-A massive but low cost per slot YCH where lots of preds eat an entire village, with some prey slots in there too
-Inspired by the Return of the Jedi Rancor scene, a master feeds his pet some food (I think this would be adorable for endo vore haha)

But yeah, I’m serious. I haven’t been able to work a lot lately at my job, and I’m really enjoying working on the YCH.

You may have noticed that I made my first ever YCH. I'm getting out of my shell when it comes to having others pay me to write. However, I don't think I'll ever do full blown commissions, just these YCHs and mini-story commissions. I'm content with this, and I have no future plans right now regarding it. It just came out of the blue today.

I would like input, as always, regarding thoughts on this.

The idea is for like 25 USD you get a story where one character eats another without too much else. No big plot or anything. It's going to be small.

2020 was supposed to be THE YEAR for me. Graduate high school, and I even got tickets to E3 to celebrate. I had been already practicing social distancing because my grandfather was doing chemotherapy for his cancer (which thank God was completely eradicated later so that's one terrific thing that did happen this year). But E3 being canceled was the first sign, and it was a devastating hit. Then when the school closed down for online classes I got hit with suddenly having to do online school, which I wasn't as good at brick and mortar classes, but I passed school just fine. I had a terrific summer, and that was when I started using Discord a whole lot more, and before I knew it I was knee-deep in amazing new friends!

Then college hit the fan. In the first month, I did alright, but after a huge allergy affliction left me barely able to work on tasks I was behind, and then I started realizing I had an inability to focus. It was honestly hell, and for a lot of days, I wasn't quite happy. It was only at the end of the semester did my mom and I figure out how to fix the issues. In one class I was an A nearly the whole time only to fail at 69.5... which still stings me to HELL!

But as rough as things have been, it's still been an amazing year for me in regard to online life and the friends I've made.
