Ashby Updates

I heard back from the vet, and after an overnight stay at the vet, blood work, an x-ray, and general check up, blood sent to the University of Miami and another specialist looking at her bloodwork, it turns out that my bunny definitely has chronic Pasteurella.
She may be getting fevers due to an abscess in her body, but we're going to get her 3 weeks of antibiotics first to see if that settles it down. If not, I'm going to have to get her a CT scan to find the abscess and/or rule out cancer.
I really appreciate any and all help people have given me, and to those that have commissioned or helped with vet funds, I've drawn a cute little badge that I've given without a watermark for telegram stickers or other use just to show extra appreciation.
It's been a really hard road so far. Ashby has been such a fighter, and is still acting close to normal...aside from the occasional bouts of sleeping near a frozen bottle for the cold, some sneezing, and icky eyes.
Her 7th birthday is in 4 days. Hoping we can still celebrate as normal.

I'm going to a psychologist AND a psychiatrist now after nearly committing suicide and just narrowly avoiding checking
into the hospital.
No worries. I am seeking help and working on myself, but it has not been easy.
I will open commissions again soon...I mean, I have to afford all these doctors and student loans somehow.
Hope everyone is doing well, and I'm hoping to continue posting more work on here soon.

It's been a while since I've updated everything here, and I've been
posting on Twitter a bunch more than I have here. If you'd like to follow more of
what I'm up to, I am Pandactyle on Twitter. I won't stop posting artwork on here, though. I do feel that some of my work is more appropriate on FA than on other social media sites.
However, I feel it is important to make it clear
Feetin general and macro works are not my fetish. I have no interest in that type of thing and when I draw them they are commissions. People PAY me to draw their characters being stepped on, houses being smooshed, etc.
I have gotten quite a few requests for me to draw someone else's character being stepped on by their fav poke'mon for free. I am being paid to draw the ones I have been drawing, and there is quite a large list that I am slowly working through, so your requests may or may not be on that list.
The human character does not belong to me either. Our adorable little human friend belongs to
Ermine and I wouldn't want to draw his character without consent.
Personally, feet/paws is not what I am into. I struggle with drawing feet and paws, so drawing commissions that have to do with different angles of paws and feet help my artwork to grow.

I appreciate being treated like a fellow person and not your rp/fetish mining material. I enjoy drawing for you, and for those of you who have been respectful, thank you.

Nursing Week

This upcoming week, I'll be helping a friend recover from top surgery!
I am still accepting commissions, and will still be working through it, but much of my time
will be spent generally helping my friend who will have no use of their upper arms for a bit.
Sorry if this causes TOHG to be a bit late or if it causes me to be a bit late to respond!

So I know that I've posted T-shirt designs for sale here on Teepublic.
Turns out Nintendo did NOT like that I had poke'mon designs. (Even though I only sold 3?)
They had them taken down and filed a claim against me, so I won't be selling poke'mon t-shirts anymore.
I'm sorry for the inconvenience, but well, it IS their property, so if my tiny little bit of sales is causing a
catastrophe over there, I don't have any say in that matter. I respect their wishes. They're nice to their employees,
and I've heard nothing but good things from the company, so no complaints here.
Sorry for any of you that really wanted to get that awesome squirtle shirt though eventually. :)

But I don't really think of her like that at all. In fact, I think of her as just a complete random story-goer. LOL;
I don't really feel a connection with her like I do with Gilleed or Pan (my fursona characters) and I really don't spend much time working on drawing her. It's just kinda scribbles, but she's been a part of so many pages of TOHG that it's just kinda...taken over?
IDK. I found it interesting. xD
Also, working on a rather large project that I'm collecting a few artists for. You'll see some of the work later, but I'll be looking around for a couple game testers here and there. ;)

NGL -- Depression rant
Posted 6 years agoArt is more challenging for me.
College essentially beat into me that I'm a failure because of one teachers arrogance and friends in the grand scheme of things, and as much as I've tried to move past it, it still hurts. I'm not nearly as creative or determined as I once was, and in college, I was essentially bashed by teachers every time I tried to learn something new that wasn't part of their curriculum. Teachers fought over who's class was more important, and to top it off, after graduating, it was discovered the school had been engaging in fraud for the exact years that I had been attending.
I now owe over 80,000$ spread across over 10 loans, each with an interest rate over 9% and no ability to claim bankruptcy or any other method get rid of them.
I'm charged 650$ a month for student loans alone, and I've been left pretty scarred by the people I dealt with. I made tons of friends that I would never give up for the world, but I was duped so hard that I'm stuck living with my mother and barely affording anything.
I've given up and learned to just spend money on food and my bunny to give me some sort of happiness, as well as just giving money to friends even though I could try and attempt to save it, with no hope of moving forward and tons of depression loaded on top of me both from previous lessons and just a lack of self-esteem.
I see people get tons of commissions, and I get super thrilled and will try and bring myself to do commissions, too, but I only get maybe 2 people who are interested, and as much as I try, I never really get anywhere, so I've gotten to the point where i'm pretty tired and depressed over trying anything.
I compare myself to others, I dwell on past arrogant and thoughtless people, and I don't see much of a hope with anything anymore other than to help others in small, meaningless ways.
I'm sorry as I know it's hurt my work ethic and my desire to chat with others. I don't mean it to be hurtful. I actually fear that people dislike or hate me, to be honest, but that's just another part of anxiety.

I'm attempting to do a few pages every Sunday!
Hopefully, it helps to give me some time to get pages done as well as commissions and playing the game to keep up with the nuzlocke! I'm sorry I didn't get to animate like I had planned. It's taken a long time, and it was decided to just continue with comic pages. My CPU can't handle the amount of space that animating will take up at the moment. My whole CPU actually needs a large overhaul. It's a hand-me-down from my brother....
Stay tuned, and remember, there were a few spoilers! Those weren't discarded!

My wrist is feeling awesome after my first appointment of massage therapy! <3
I'm going to continue to go twice a month, so a few days here and there my wrist may be in some pain.
I have 4 pages of TOHG in the process of being colored, and a commission that is about halfway done, so look out guys! I'll be posting soon!

(But Pan, it's been like...a week or two. Wtf are you talking about?)
I've been experiencing some wrist pain and may be suffering from some early symptoms of the dreaded Carpal Tunnel!
I'm going to continue working though, and I've started taking a new vitamin and started to make a massage therapy appointment, so hopefully, we should be good soon!
