Well, whatever was left of my funk the other day has taken the proverbial shot in the arse and retreated to the hills of Asia----Yesterday (tuesday) at about 12pm I re-joined a site [dedicated to the luurve of boys<3<3 ] I haven't been to in EONS; new account, all that nonsense; and as of 10 minutes ago, with only 10 submissions up, i have accumulated 229 pageviews.

THIS amused the heck out of me, and very few people will grasp/understand why this is so frikken hilarious, but.....As of (as stated) 10 minutes ago, the character at the top of peoples "MUST/TO SEX" list is a one Mr. Einenscheriene Baur, better known as Ein. XDDDXDXDXDXDXXDXDDDDXDXDXD HE'S A FLIPPIN' HIT WITH THESE PEOPLE. LUUL.

back on the artsy swing of things... I've moved back to the other 7 galleries I pretty much abandoned when I first joined this site (with my old account), and between all of them, I should be doing more arties for to keep them active.

JOY. Funk alert--I'm in one.

I seem to be drawing, lately, for the sake of keeping myself busy and not much else. Due to this, the majority of the things I'll upload will be rather halfarsed and probably hit the scraps folder faster than they will my wastebin IRL.

I suppose i'm just letting people know in case there's questioning about whether i'll start posing my actual work--i will, just might take me awhile. I've gotten the idea in my head(no idea WHERE it came from) that my art is inadequate to the point where i'm severely dissatisfied with nearly all of it.

dunno where i'm going with this. Like i said; I'm in a funk. =/

[pardon the blatant cynicism; I've gotten some notes about my mature art[however few pieces there may be] and the fact that a few of my watchers want me to stick to more common all-ages stuff because they're sick of signing in and seeing their submissions page full of boobs and penises. WELLLLL, then turn on the mature content filter if you don't want to see that stuff.]

I have been arting like MAD lately--and since my computer has a love/hate relationship with my scanner, my art may come in waves instead of a submission every time I finish a piece. Just thought I'd let people know.

If you're one of those people who get frustrated with getting your lineart to cooperate with your wishes (pose, proportion--whatever), use the color blue for your sketches (a shade of blue for digital-erasable color pencil or blue-lead technical pencil for traditional).

Blue, as a color, calms the nerves of humans. It lowers out blood pressure, drops the heart rate; all that jazz. It also makes us feel safe. [ever wonder why many banks have blue in their logo or name..? That's why.]

Bonus fact, since I know a handful of digital artists who do this; don't use pink to sketch for your lineart if you're easily aggravated with your art. Pink is a close deviation of red, which increases blood pressure.

wooooh, busybusybusy. this update will be short, unconnected paragraphs because I haven't the creativity to link the topics. XD

I've ditched sleep and sanity for working on a few digital pieces. The majority of my art is traditional, because it's less time consuming for me. I'm fighting with my laptop, which is-for the most part-on its deathbed. (5yr.old Dell-dead backlight;using an external monitor :| )It doesn't like photoshop, so my lineart is taking twice as long due to lag. ;-;

Art. School. Is. Driving. Me. Insane. The transcripts are due tomorrow, and I have no idea if the schools even sent them yet. ;-;

For those that know of her, Charlize is rocketing towards health at a (apparently) alarming rate. She's breathing on her own, and feeding normally. Right now, speculations are that the only repercussions that she'll have in life are very slight deafness and trouble walking when she comes of age.<3

Lastly, i FINALLY got around to reshaving my mohawk. YOU HAVE NO IDEA. D8 the part that was supposed to be shaved was about an inch and a half long due to neglect, and I looked like a friggen fuzzball with the 'hawk combed over. Thank god that's over with. x3

I'm down to the last few parts of my application to the art school of my choice, and they've pretty much got me running around in circles screaming for sanctuary. They have no application deadlines, but once you have the interview, they give you a deadline agreement for everything else. I have a week to do 3 art packets (design assessment), and less than 3 days to get my transcripts in. The transcripts wouldn't be an issue if I didn't have to fight with my previous college for it--and the design assessment requires certain materials that I don't have.

Whoo, stress. X_X;

I'm totally spamming FA with re-uploads, so I'm going to save the rest for a bit later and span them out.
