Happy Valentine's Day everyone! I don't have a significant other so my kids will be my valentines. I know this is a painful and lonely day for a lot of people so I hope you do your best to have a cheerful day.

Congress is on the verge of issuing a "Performance Tax" on local radio stations which could be the end of free music on the radio. Radio stations may have to become talk stations only. This will be terrible for up and coming artists and smaller labels as they benefit from the free promotion radio offers. If you listen to music on the radio you should visit http://noperformancetax.org or write your congressman letting them know that you don't approve of the Perfomance Tax.

On average, how many faves do you get per upload?

I get 7 faves per upload on average. I wish the number was higher but I'm sure as my coloring gets better I'll get more faves.

Don't you hate it when you leave a comment on someone's image and the owner of the image replies to every comment except yours? That makes me so mad!!!!! I really hate it when I leave a very witty comment and it's ignored. I'm a talkative witty person so I'm never at a loss of things to say but if you responded to everyone else why leave my comment out in the cold? *feels neglected*

I've got a new victim to whore out  niny is trying to get some exposure. Go on over there and get some commissions, watch, fave and comment but no raping! The pimp has spoken *raises pimp cup*

I've noticed quite a lot of "humans" on this site and that makes me pout a little *pouts a little*

Now we all know that we're humans in real life but the people on this site want us all to pretend were different species so the site would be a little more fun. C'mon folks. Is it too much to ask to pretend? I know it's silly and I don't like looking silly as much as the next guy but even I'm playing along. I've seen a user that was an anthropomorphic stick and a fossilized mosquito among other very unique species of creatures. Lets all have fun being another species. It's the one chance we have of escaping our human problems :D

My best friend called me and informed me that his grandmother passed away. I couldn't believe it. I've known my best friend for over 12 years and his grandmother made me feel like I was a member of their family. She was like my second grandmother. I'm completely devastated and severely depressed. For this to happen so suddenly and so close to Christmas it just broke my heart. I'm going over to my best friend's house to console him although he may have to console me. She was a terrific woman. Heaven may have a new angel but I wish she could have stayed on Earth for a little while longer. I won't be online for a while, I'm really depressed. If I promised you a drawing today I'm sorry but I don't feel much like drawing now.

These questions are for those of you that are artists: If someone watches you and you don't think that they can draw/color as well as you believe you can would you watch them back or do you only watch people that are better than you?

I accidentally named  cottonlop's character (Cotton) CottonLop. I changed it in the submission information but I don't like mis-naming people's characters. If anyone has faved my last submission, would you mind if I deleted it to fix the error and then re-uploaded it? I know how annoying it is to have an artist delete an image that was faved and I don't want to be bogus and do that. If you don't mind then I will if not I'll just apologize to  cottonlop and leave the image as is.

I've come to an important decision...

When I finish the images in the workload journal that I made http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/865014/ I'm going to leave FA for good. In a previous journal I was thinking about it and now I've finalized my decision. I've grown tired of seeing cub porn, incest, lolicon, shotacon, feminine male characters, etc. I can appreciate nudity which is why I don't just change my settings so I can't see adult material. If I disable adult content I would miss some great art. Aside from that I'm 28 years old and a significantly large percent of members on this site are teenage kids; many of them are too young to be viewing adult content let alone drawing it (a lot of time spectacularly though I'll admit). Oddly enough, the drama that surrounds this site doesn't really bother me Rest assured, I will give people the art I promised them and since my workload is fairly extensive I know it will take me a while to finish them all. But in all honesty I doubt I'll be here to celebrate my 2nd anniversary of being a member on this site (my first anniversary was on Halloween ). More likely than less I'll remain on DA (same username as here) so you can still find me on the internetz.

Today's mah birthday :D

Why are people still bashing Barack Obama for winning a Nobel Peace Prize? I could understand people's anger if it was George W. Bush that won a Peace prize. Let's not forget that Barack inherited this war from Bush and he (Barack) is doing everything he can to end this war with realistic expectations and timeframes. Barack is striving for peace among the nations. Give the man some credit. I know that there are others that may have been better qualified to win but let's not be like Kanye West and turn what should have been a terrific accomplishment and special moment into a hating fest.

I created an account on furspace.com a while ago and I've been uploading my drawings onto that site as well but yesterday (unbeknownst to me until today) I come to find out that adult art (that previously was allowed to be uploaded) is no longer allowed. I've been reported to the authorities without having been notified of any changes to policy concerning uploading images (which is illegal by the way). Is there anyone else that is a member of that site that has also been reported for uploading art of an adult nature?

I try not to post more than one journal on the same day most of the time but I have to rant. I just tried to commission someone on DA (who will remain nameless for the sake of privacy) to make a pic of my popular characters (Amuris, Alice, Felicity, Starglance) together in a Halloween scene. We were discussing the details when he mentioned that he didn't want me uploading the finished work into my gallery. Needless to say I was dumbfounded when he said that. An arguement ensued and of course he won't take the commission now. Oh well, screw it. I'll just buy myself a Harmonica set with the money I would have spent on the commission
