First off, I'm going to be sending out the sketches that I got addresses and money for on Monday - while not foreseeing any issues in this plan. If you have not given me your addresses through my email (speedjackal@yahoo.com) or made a payment for the shipping then I will ship yours out as well if you give them to me by Monday. If not, I really can't do much about shipping something if I don't have the money to do so and more specifically the address to send it to. I'm sorry.

Secondly I am going to be opening up sketch commissions again for traditional as well as digital so that I can make some more money - since I am still on medical leave from work and this is still my only source of income. If I can get together a bigger commission page piece, then I will be able to open for larger pieces in the future - but for now! LINEART!

However, because she is amazing, has offered to help me out with these. If you would like for your picture to be digitally colored, she will do so for you - whether it be digital or traditional lineart. I have another project that I'm working on right now, but I am going to be making up a commission example sheet off of a big project that I've been thinking about getting done. I also want to experiment with SAI, which is something that I haven't really be able to do, and I'd much rather be able to do so on my own time instead of commissioners' time.

I just feel that showing the step by step process of one picture from sketch to full color and background will be a little easier in showing what it is I'm offering and for what price - instead of working completely through journal. It's well known that people pay more attention to art submissions than journal submissions.

Either way, as soon as I can get that and my other project done, I should be able to start taking slots for art once more - as necessity dictates that I need to start bringing in more money again and am still out of work. D:

If I were to start making adoptables of any kind, would any one be interested?

Have never done it before and don't necessarily know what I would do or how I would go about it. But just wondering, really.

I will be at the event next weekend, already preregistered with  marccrevan - we haven't had a lot of time to do anything together with Marc working a lot and me going to doctors three times a week and he has been wanting to go. I thought it would be something nice to do to have fun and maybe ease some of the stress of our situation.

So if any one of you will be going, I will see you there hopefully. :)

Alright, I'm having a lot of issues with this right now - more so than I have had before. Which is just making me make a journal about it.

If you have a chupacabra in my style, please link back to me as the original creator. It would be greatly appreciated. I'm not asking for something big, just want to be given credit where credit is due. I know that some people were encouraged to make chupacabras without knowing that I was the original design creator. So this is not your fault.. I merely just want to get this off of my chest and rectify some things.

To those of you who may say that I did not design a chupacabra and their chupacabra is just taken from the Myth of the species, I say this. Originally and generally chupacabras have been portrayed more as a reptilian beast. Or maybe even something more rodent like. In no way has there ever been a chupacabra that was a marsupial. Specifically not a marsupial/goat/dog/bat thing with huge ears and spots and kangaroo legs. It just didn't happen until I did it. I know this.

It's like you would do with any artist when you use their species. Such as Vera - who I will continue to use as an example for this. She is a Langurhali. She created them. It is a perfect example. People have created Langurhali as their own characters with her permission. They link back to her as the creator. The copyright of the design is hers, it's always been linked back to her as her own.

Another example for this issue is Zaush and his species - the Citra. No one fights him saying that he can't take credit for a species, they just link back to him as the creator and they are happy to do it. Because it is a kind of character that people love and want to use, which is a good thing because it is a credit to an artist's creativity. I've never said that it was a bad thing. I would just like the same courtesy. I know that this design is not as well known as being mine as Langurhalis are well known as being Vera's or Citras are well known as being Zaush's own. So I end up being left in the dark just for that fact. But being well known does not mean that you deserve more respect and courtesy than someone else.

Please help me out.

Last month I was in a car accident which ended up injuring my neck and back, herniating at least three discs in my spine and causing swelling that has pinched off nerves that connect to my spinal cord. As a result I have been very limited in my activities and have been in a lot of pain - with migraines and nausea as well as the issues I now have with my left shoulder and arm, limiting me to only be able to handle objects less than fifteen pounds. As a result, I have not been able to work since the beginning of March, while seeing a doctor for physical therapy three times a week.

Needless to say, I need money but have been limited even in being able to do my artwork - especially digital. When leaned over my laptop too long I end up feeling as if there is a knife stabbing into my upper back, right beside the base of my neck. It makes coloring, which can be a daunting task, even more difficult. I've decided that the best course of action will be to open for traditional sketches, something that will be easier for me to accomplish. Nothing too fancy, but something that can at least bring some money in without stressing me out too much. If people absolutely do not want any sort of art from me, but still want to help out, I would be greatly in your debt as well. Though I don't like asking for charity and will probably try to talk you into getting something anyway.
