ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGG
Posted 18 years agoNearly a month without anything new on the site! And nearly SIX HUNDRED MESSAGES on FurAffinity.
How could I let it get this bad?
Certainly not by desire, I can assure you. I have literally not had a spare moment, or at least a moment long enough, to work on a really good piece of art lately. Or even a bad piece of art. I've barely picked up a pencil these last few weeks. Filming, rehearsals, lessons, homework, miscellaneous running round, Valentines gifts, Mother's Day gifts, marking my friend's novel...it is all go. I am having a great time, but not being able to draw or really go on FurAffinity is so upsetting :(
Sorry everyone- back to normal soon, I promise. Sweeny Todd will be over soon, and then things will calm down. Maybe I'll even have a chance to draw/write something later this week.
Thanks for stopping by,
xx

The Exciting Life of Spekti! READ AND BE AWED!
Posted 18 years agoOkay.
Some of you, meaning the precious few who care, may have been a-wonderin' why I haven't been posting and commentig with my usual vigilance. Well, the answer is simple- the last week and 2 days have been hectic in the extreme.
Tuesday last week I was shooting my film (I am a film student0 or at least the bit that required actors. It was supposed to be on thursday, but prior committments from actors meant I had to stay up nearly all of Monday night, sewing a gasmask and preparing props. 3 hours of sleep later, I had a 12 hour shoot from 8:30am to 8:30pm, with a break for pizza in the middle. Yums!
Wednesday and Thursday I spent doing solo film shooting- very gruelling, the Canon XL2 is a heavy camera ><
On Thursday night I went to my friend Jaaque's 22nd birthday party- Jaaque is an awesome guy, and every person at his party was cool. I chatted with many people and they were all lovely. I wore a lovely dress with a chinese dragon on it, and sparkly gold fishnets ^_______^
However, it was not all fun and games! That night, whilst wearing my long coat which is very sexy but has tiny pockets, I lost my wallet.
Horror!
Friday was spent mostly cancelling my cards and telling the police, until after midday when a chap from my uni called me and told me this....
"I have good news for you. The first part is, a girl has found your wallet, and you can go and collect it from her place of work. The even better news is....she works at a lap dancing club!"
Yes indeed. My wallet was found by a lap dancer. Not even one of the bar staff. We spoke on the phone, though, and she seemed very nice, arranging for me to pick it up the next day at 8.
Then my mate came round and we went to...a pirate party! From which we managed to get a MASSIVE amount of food, since the arranger, my friend Jo, had anticipted more people. Swag galore- most sandwiches and sausage rolls. And some cake, too!
Saturday was spent editing and loving my mate until the evening. My friends Em and Patch had invited me for tea, when I got a phone call from my friend Dave...
Dave: Hey Jim, can you come to a party tonight?
Jim: Oh, damn...sorry my friend, I've been invited to dinner.
Dave: That sucks. The theme is 'dress like a cat'.
Jim: I'M THERE!!!!!!!
So after collecting my (soggy) wallet from the lap dancing club (no one was there) we went to tea and then on to Caturday!!
It rocked. 3 days of partying. Nice.
Sunday, more editing and tryig not to negelct my mate- she went home in the evening, and I stayed up till 4:00am finsihing my edit and preparing a production folder to hand in with it.
Monday was assessment day- yay! Watching my classmates films. They were all pretty good- some were awesome ^___^
Tuesday I spent all day working on MY FIRST EVER COMISSIONS! YAY! My friend Dave (not the same Dave, a different Dave) commissioned my a week ago to draw furry pics of his flatmates as Xmas presents- I hadn't had a singhle moment to do it until then. I eventually got them posted at 2am.
Finally, today I have spent all day drawing an Xmas present for my friends Em and Patch, who invited me round for dinner AGAIN- I just got back.
I forgot to scan their pic, but hopefully they will scan it ande-mail it to me.
...
And that's why I haven't been posting and comments!
'AVE THAT!!!!
PS.
Going home for Xmas on monday! Yay!:):):)

Faust- The Last 24 Hours
Posted 18 years agoHello all
I thought I'd do my first 'informing people about my life' journal entry here.
I was shooting a film the other day (myself and all my flatmates are film students), not mine by my friend Tom's.
He wrote an adapation of the last scene of 'Faustus' by Christopher Marlowe, in which Faustus fails to repent and dies, to be taken off to hell.
I got to play the demon Mephistophiles (this is the 4th time I have been ask to play a demon/the devil...is this a bad sign?) which was awesome but meant I had to spend hours literally caked in jet black makeup, moving around in my very cool but impractical robe. I went through various stages of cleaning, from cockeny chimney sweep to dirty layabout to just a trace round the eyes like L from Deathnote...which is, needless to say, awesome.
In addition to this I was crewing with a few friends.
We started filming at, oh 3:30 in the afternoon and finished....at 5:00am IN THE MORNING.
That's right. We spent 14 hours shooting. Rock and f**king roll! :D So now I greet the day at mid day wearing pyjamas and drinking tea.
In other news, because of my own uni work I have not managed to do any drawing or writing in the past couple of weeks, to either post here or on my site :(
I would like to say a HUGE thankyou to any watchers of mine who have been visiting- you are awesome *squeeze*

Mini-update
Posted 18 years agoMore SPAM from my website.
I have added a new pic called 'Big Sis' which I AM IN LOVE WITH.
Go and see it.
I have also posted a new erotic story called 'The Beginning of The Day'.
Strangely enough, BOTH feature my lovely piggy Susie Wilde...although showing very different sides of her loving personality.

Furshounen Updates! 14th Nov
Posted 18 years agoI have updated furshounen.com a day late, but no need to worry!.
I was on a coachyesterday, so no time to do web jiggery-pokery. Life has been complicated of late and so I've come back home to spend a couple of days with my family.
On the site we have...
Metal and Pelts Chapter 5 - Out of Luck
Spekti and Elizah walk with sore feet to Catatonia's capital city of Luck. This is the shortest story one so far, so there's no excuse for not reading it!
There is also a new section - Spekterotica, where my dirty stories finally get an airing. Plenty more are coming, and erotic poetry too
I haven't got a new big pic yet, but one is very much in the pipeline and I shall put it up before the next official update, which will be on the 27th of November.
Hope you are all having a fun time out there in FA land!

Return to the Good Work
Posted 18 years agoHallelujah!
I have started a new series of pictures, attempting to support and promote awareness of the charity PDSA, which helps sick and injured animals.
Since my original aim in starting my website Furshounen was to help animal charities, I think its probably best that I do it. I got I bit sidetracked ><
I don't want to become another furry artist who just does love/erotic pics for their own sake...not that there is anything wrong with that, but there are hundreds of people who do already do that much better than I ever could.
I want my art to help someone.
Ch-ch-check out the first of my series- Mitsy the Mouse!

METAL & pelts- an introduction
Posted 18 years agoThe planet Eve is populated by Zoomorphs- humans or people with human ancestors who were changed by the Postgenetic process of ‘Evolving’.
Used entirely for mineral wealth and other resources by Earth, Eve has nevertheless undergone distinct cultural and social developments in the three centuries since it colonisation. Dividing into societies based on subspecies and industry (to factors that were in fact linked during the first years of colonisation) there are now dozens of city-states and countries spread out over the small world, although Earth remains largely ignorant of the details.
Although there are small feuds between some of the factions or species, the planet enjoys widespread peace.
However, the is a dissident element on Eve- an element which questions whether they need Earth or its authorities, which still wield considerable influence.
Into this uneasy climate an outsider enters. A failing cartographer called Spekti is sent as an ambassador to make a socio-political map of Eve- ostensible as a gesture from Homeworld Security that they are starting to respect the planet’s independence.
However, it soon becomes clear that dark times are brewing on the horizon...
