It's with a very heavy heart that I bring you this sad news. Our beloved 'Doge' Kabosu has passed away from old age. Please view the post from her family's Instagram I have provided below.
I'm not so good with words, but I have passion in my heart to speak. Kabosu is such a special doggy. It's amazing to me how the internet is able to bring all of us together over the admiration of 1, little Shiba Inu from a little, Japanese family. It's said Atsuko Sato (Kabosu's mama) rescued her from a puppy mill, a horrible place where dogs are merely seen as profit. Kabosu wasn't just an object to make money off of. She is a good girl who just wanted a place to belong. Kabosu knew she was loved. She was able to meet so many beautiful people & was raised by a kind family. She has many friends from all over this beautiful planet. She has sweet cats & neighbors who love her unconditionally. I'm thankful Kabosu had such a wonderful & long life. She lived to be 18, a great feat for such a little pup. Kabosu is probably one of the most-famous dogs to ever exist. I hope many decades from now... many hundreds of years even, people will still love & laugh with her. We cry because we love Kabosu. We're sad at her passing because she meant so much to everyone. It's ok to feel sad. It's ok to cry. I want you to know I'm here & I care about you. I wish all of you a wonderful weekend & happy Thursday. I love you. I wouldn't say it if I didn't mean it. We are all a part of each other.

I fully understand the reasoning behind ProLife, but you don't need to be an asshole about it. Disregarding the feelings of another person is when you & I will have problems. A woman is not an incubator or factory. We are living human beings, the EXACT same as any man. You know what? Behind every, single unwanted pregnancy is a man who didn't know how to use a condom. So when you hassle innocent women & children, you're bullying a victim. When ProLife people refuse to bother showing empathy to a person who's in distress, that's when they piss me off. If you don't like abortion or even adoption & condoms, grow up. Life isn't fair. Abortion is vital healthcare. A baby shouldn't be a punishment for sex & nobody should be forced to live in a home in which they're not wanted.
You want to bring religion into this? Fine by me. I haven't attended church since I was a teen, but I remember the teachings of Jesus of Nazareth. Whether he was a real person in history or not, Jesus always put people first. He always was willing to show kindness, empathy & sympathy. It didn't matter if you were poor, rich, famous or dying because his message ALWAYS was of kindness & of peace. If Jesus came across a woman or even a CHILD who was afraid/angry/upset because she doesn't want to have a pregnancy forced upon her, he would be kind & help her the best ways he knew how. Jesus says to love each other. I'm an atheist & said all of that because I don't need religion to have sensible morals.

I'm daydreaming about potato chips & sushi today. I just got some money & want to go out with the weather being fair in Indiana, but I have no one to take me. Nobody save for my boyfriend EVER visits, send a text message or bothers to call me on the phone. Are my 'friends' truly friends when ALL of them never invite me to hang out during holidays or birthday parties or even to visit on the weekend? I'm all alone & nobody gives a shit about me. People don't like me, they tolerate me. It's always been this way. I'm going to die alone someday & nobody will notice I'm gone because nobody cares.

It's totally understandable & ok to be prolife, but you don't have to be an asshole about it. Ask yourself this important question: If you are prolife, do you want to control women or do you want to save children? A lot of ladies don't get to choose to be pregnant. Not every, single rapist is going to be thoughtful enough to wear protection. Or some of us are literal children. Are you seriously ok with & would be able to sleep soundly at the thought of forcing a child who was raped to carry a baby full term & possibly die herself from that? What about women who are mentally/financially/physically unable to handle pregnancy/take care of a baby? Even if these people don't die from enduring pregnancy, her life will be ruined. Her body & mind will be broken in more ways than you could ever possibly imagine.
How about instead of trying to tell people what to do with their own bodies, you be sympathetic & think of someone else for once in your life? Think about how YOU would feel if other people tried to control you. Tried to tell you how to take care of your own, physical body. You would hate it. I know that to be true for everyone. I wouldn't tell my dad to shave off his beard or tell my sisters to stop dying their hair. That would make me an asshole. At the end of the day we should let people have control over their own bodies. If you disagree with me, please leave. I don't want you here. You are toxic & I won't tolerate that.

This morning, there was another shooting in Greenwood, IN. My family & I are safe. Mom says that schools in the area have been locked down & my younger half sister is safe. A stranger in a black hoodie attacked & killed a teenage, male Whiteland Community High School student at a bus stop in Johnson county. Police are currently on the hunt for them. They could be hiding in a nearby corn field or the neighborhood it happened in.
I'm so sick of this. Gun violence is the leading cause of death of children in America. How many more people will have to die before the US government gives a shit? They don't care who lives & who dies. In this country therapy is scarce, we treasure our weapons over the lives of our own children, abortion is banned from EVERYONE & LGBT people are hated for just existing. Doesn't matter if you're a rape victim. Doesn't matter if you're a child. Doesn't matter if you're caught in the middle of a massacre. The government doesn't give a shit about any of us. Take down the Pride flags & tell people who are suffering "Just deal with it."

If you disagree with anything I say & think that medical masks violate your rights, go away. Block me even. I don't want you here.
Humans have had medical masks, as we currently know them, since the late 19th century. Why is it suddenly that too many of us don't know how to follow simple rules that children could easily figure out? Painters, doctors, nurses, surgeons, veterinarians and construction workers use medical masks every time they're on the clock. Wearing a medical mask is not taking away human rights. It's being responsible & respectful to those around you. I was born in 1988, but it wasn't until the year of 2020 that I suddenly see other people wearing their masks with their noses exposed. It's pathetic, selfish & embarrassing. Everyone knows that you know better than to have your nose out like a man's penis stuck in a pair of underwear. That's what you look like. And if it technically weren't considered assault, I would grab every idiot I see walking around in public who's doing that, and adjust their masks for them. Stop being like that. Follow the god damn rules. It's been roughly 2 fucking years since this started. Two years! I know you know better! So just follow the rules!
The mask goes over your nose and chin. It's not going to kill you. Just follow the rules. Wear your mask over your nose & chin. Keep your distance of 6 ft apart. Wash your hands regularly. Get all of your covid vaccines. The sooner that everyone starts obeying the literal simplest of rules, the sooner things will chill out. The sooner you listen to reason & start treating your fellow human beings with respect, the sooner you'll be able to walk around without a facial covering. So just fucking do it.

Good afternoon, everyone. I want to share with all of you the craziest thing my dad ever did to my little sister & I. I've been dying to put it out somewhere ever since it happened. Before I tell you this odd tale, there's some things you have to understand about our dad. He's the most stubborn person I've ever known. Dad is autistic & has Aspergers. For those not in the know, the basics of this mental disorder are he has bad communication skills & can't read social interactions well 100% of the time. This combined with being stubborn is real stressful whenever we get into arguments because he just won't listen to whatever the other people in the conversation have to say. Dad isn't a bad person, he's just a bratty old man whom hates to hear the words 'no' or 'You're wrong'.

This encounter happened in the early 2000s when my little sister (I'll label her as Z for privacy reasons) & I were teenagers. We were living at Daddy & his wife/our step-mother's home. It was a cleaning day. While Step-mom was at work, the 3 of us spent the afternoon doing chores. After a couple of hours, I told Daddy I was getting hungry, so we settled on baking a tray of frozen tater tots. Daddy made sure to tell me to not salt the tots before they were put into the oven (He's a chef, so he's always giving me cooking tips) because I was tempted to, but refrained & went back to sweeping the floor while the oven preheated. After a while, Daddy called out to Z & me to come into the kitchen. When I got there, he was standing beside the oven, the tray of frozen tots scattered on it & a bit of salt spread over them. He was not mad yet, but it was clear he was frustrated. Daddy scolded me about disobeying him & said "I told you not to salt the tater tots! Why is there salt on here!" I told him I hadn't & was sweeping the basement floor at the time. Daddy didn't back down & continued yelling & accusing me of disobeying him as well as asking us both who had salted the tater tots. I continued to insist that I hadn't & Z confirmed that she hadn't either because she was busy with her own cleaning. (We're not liars & will always support & defend each other, even now when we're in our mid-30s) The 3 of us must have stood in the kitchen, Daddy yelling at us & arguing to just confess for 4 to 5 hours. I remember it went on for so long that Z & I grew tired from standing & sat in dining chairs as we had to continue this insane, nothing argument that was going nowhere fast. For whatever reason, Daddy wouldn't believe us. He especially was verbally attacking me, since I was the one that almost salted the potatoes in the first place. Daddy had convinced himself that I must have done it & was lying to him. Let me say it again. We were fighting for 4 to 5 HOURS. The headache only stopped & he let us leave the kitchen after Step-mom returned home from work.

To this day, we still don't know who salted those potatoes. The mental image of the frozen, pale tots is burned into my mind. All Daddy had to do was just let it go, but no. He wanted to be right, even if it meant forcing his daughters to fight with him for literal hours over something that didn't even matter in the first place. Either he or Step-mom had to toss the poor potatoes at the end of it because they had thawed while Z, myself & Daddy were fighting. I must confess, typing this out was exhausting. But I feel a little better about it. Thanks for reading everybody. Please refrain from speaking ill of my daddy. It's in the past & I doubt he even remembers it happening. So it doesn't matter.

This blog has been & always will be pro-choice! If you can't handle respecting women & young girls, go away. I don't want you here. No government is allowed to tell us what to do with our own bodies. This isn't about protecting children, it's about controlling women. We don't need or want anyone to intervene & tell us what to do with our own bodies. If you don't like abortion, don't have one. President Obama had so many opportunities to enforce gun control & just didn't. There will NEVER be gun control in North America because we love our weapons more than our own children. We would rather freely have killing machines over keeping our offspring alive because humans are a mistake (Notice I say alive and not from harm because grown-ups treat children like shit just because they are younger. Mental health doesn't exist) . Everyday, I wish a big meteor would come along & knock Earth out of orbit because we deserve it. Australia had only a single massacre happen before they enforced gun control. If I had the means, I would have moved there years ago & never looked back. I am embarrassed to have been born here. Ignoring your problems doesn't make them go away. In fact, it makes them worse. If you just go ahead and do your chores instead of wasting time worrying about getting them started, they'll get done & your home will be clean. You worrying so damn much is toxic behavior. You need to self discipline & force yourself to do these things for the greater good.
Did you ever consider that your parents ever wanted to give up on raising you? Well they didn't. They never got a day off of looking after your ass, but pushed forward because they had to be responsible. So the least you can do is take care of yourself by cleaning your environment regularly. I have crippling chronic depression, but I still clean my home, shower every morning & take care of my cat because if I don't, nobody will. Life isn't fair.

I saw yesterday afternoon that our beloved Tara Strong has contracted the deadly covid virus. I can't even start to describe how scared I am for her & her family. I don't want her to die just yet. She's still so young, 49 years old. I wish there was some way to help her. Please don't leave us & stay strong, Tara. I love you so much.

I decided last evening to seek out this infamous eroguro (erotic gore) manga 'Mai Chan's Daily Life'. I read some of the final chapters because I'm not going to waste my time with all of this literal garbage. This manga is shocking & disgusting to look upon. It's full of drawings of women (and & 1 point, a young boy) being mercilessly torn apart, raped, torn apart & raped... again and again. It's boring. There is nothing to this comic & I didn't like it at all. The characters have no depth & I couldn't make myself care for them, even when the male child was being tortured & screamed at by the clients these immortal, forever regenerating maids are made to serve. Not even when a fellow slave woman died due to a knife accidentally falling & killing her. Perhaps I feel numb to all of this, even though there is graphic torture, nudity & dismemberment on these manga pages is because I'm jaded. I'm tired from too many people throughout my life abusing me, bullying me, looking at me as if I'm just a test subject to be studied & labeled. Also, when you're only 5 years of age & have to endure your parents screaming in each other's faces only inches away on a common basis, it truly damages you. Breaks you even.
Even though I have read the history of Japan many times, I can't figure out what is wrong with the people living there. Why is this manga allowed to exist? Why do the people that created Mai Chan's Daily Life hate women so much? Want to rape and tear them apart so much? It is empty. All I could pull out of this is that the Mangaka (manga creator) is mentally unstable. They want to commit sexual and physical violence to women & children all while masturbating to it. I guess in Japan there is no such thing as "No, you can't make/do that." The people of Japan hate women & children. They see us a nothing but objects to use & abuse. They don't love & respect us. They want to rape & kill us. Instead of putting away psychopaths, Japan coddles these predators & gives them a career in making art of their sick fantasies rather than stopping & punishing them. Mai Chan's creator would be very comfortable partying with Marquis de Sade.

Conclusion
Mai Chan's Daily Life is boring, pathetic, creepy, cringe-inducing, nonsensical & not funny. There's nothing in here but poorly drawn sexual violence & racism. It is not worth anybody's time unless that person genuinely enjoys masturbating to sexual violence against women & children. Whomever made Mai Chan's Daily Life & approved it for publication should be locked away for the safety of everyone else around them, especially women & children. Skip it. I need to go watch some Futurama. Cheer myself up.

This morning, it was reported that Caroll Spinney passed away from Dystonia at the age of 86. He is most well-known for his career with Jim Henson Productions as a Muppeteer, as Big Bird & Oscar the Grouch. My little sister Madeline contacted me this afternoon when she heard the news because she knows how much of a fan I am of his. Ever since I was a very young child, Big Bird & Oscar have been some of my most-favorite Muppets on all of Sesame Street. They always made me happy & I would watch shorts featuring his characters when trying to cope with my chronic depression. When I was about 5 years old, my parents bought us a puppet show set & one of the puppets was an Oscar. One of my favorite, early memories with my dad is the 2 of us sitting on either side of a sofa as he held a square pillow in front of his face & using Oscar to peek over it at me to make me laugh. He also rented 'Follow That Bird', Big Bird's own movie, for me to watch & lots of other nice things related to Mr. Spinney's characters. After my brother Eli passed away in the spring of 2018, one of the videos I shared with my family & friends on FaceBook was when Big Bird had to learn to cope with death after learning that Mr. Hooper wasn't coming back because he had died.
Something that will always stay with me is when Mr. Spinney in his own documentary 'I Am Big Bird: The Caroll Spinney Story' told the people making the movie that for a while, he was very depressed & almost leapt out of a high window of an apartment building because he felt so terrible. But he stopped himself & thought "It isn't that bad. You will find another day that is better.". That quote is something I tell myself now whenever my depression really hurts me.
Good night, Mr. Spinney. Thank you for being a source of happiness & comfort to me through-out my entire life. I'll never forget about you. I'll always love you & the Muppets you portrayed, even though now you are gone from this world. Rest easy, my dear friend. My hero.

The website went down again, this time for about 2 1/4 days. I was a bit worried that I would have to resubmit some works, but everything is back in order! I'm thankful for that. The staff that run this wonderful art website really do care.

Good afternoon, everyone! I'm going to soon be posting most of my photos from IndyFurcon 2018. Please tag yourself or any of your friends that you see in them. That would really help. I attended on Saturday & had one of the best times of my life. This is my new-favorite con experience. It's easily #1 in the 10 years that I've been going to conventions. I want to tell all of you something that I said to Mommy on the way back home after she picked me up.
Every, single thing that you have heard about the Furry community is wrong. All of it, 100 percent! I was at The Marriot all day Saturday & not once did I see or hear anybody talking about hurting animals, being pervy or talking about sneaking away to take off their Fursuits & have sex/have sex in their suits. IndyFurcon was like every other convention I've been to. It was full of people having fun, making art, dancing, taking photos, playing games, talking & eating with one another, buying things, making new friends, enjoying panels & working.
I have never been more proud of a community I'm a part of than I am today. Furries are people that love animals & just want to have fun. I know it to fully be true now because I was with my people & all of it was positive.

I went to visit one of my favorite Fur's gallery today  Kaizerfreak & spotted this little questionnaire while there. I sure do love them, so decided to do it too!

• Where did the name of your Fursona come from?
'Ness' is a shortening of 'Dragoness', which is part of my Gaia Online screen name (joined in 2006) 'Dragoness of Ice'. Ness is my avatar's name who is a Shape Shifter/magic user that once was a role play character I'd use to make stories with friends & my boyfriend at the time. Early on in her life, I couldn't think of a name for my avatar, being stuck in an artist block sort of rut. I told my mom the screen name & she picked 'Ness'. I think her words were something along "How about 'Ness'? It's a short version of 'Dragoness' & easy to remember." So thanks to that spontaneous brainstorming session, the name 'Ness' was created.
Sometime during 2007, I created my Fursona as an alternate version of my Gaia Online avatar. Over time, she became her own entity.

• What species is your Fursona and why did you choose that species?
Ness is an ice wolf. I chose a wolf because that is who I felt I was inside. What I like to tell people who ask is this.: Ever since I can remember, I have felt a strong connection to dogs & loved them dearly. Wolves are the kings of dogs, the originals. So that is why I picked her. The ice powers are an element that my Gaia avatar possesses. It's a really cool concept to me, so I added this while I was developing her.

• What color is your Fursona and why? Hair/fur/eye/ect
Ness has always been blue, but in beta/early versions of her, she was closer to cyan because I wanted her to visually be associated with ice. Now-a-days, my Fursona's fur is a medium/light blue shade. She always had white tips to her paws, belly/chest, tail & a white blaze on her face. The silver detail on Ness’s ears was added around 2009-2011. I added this to show that she possesses magic. I chose blue because it is 1 of my top-favorite colors.
Her eyes are green, a feature left-over from the Gaia character she was originally based on. I kept this because I liked it & never saw a reason for it to change.
Same with her head fur being a rich shade of blue. I've recently dyed my hair blue, inspired by it.
The color of Ness's claws change randomly, usually to relate to the current season when I draw her or one of my other favorite colors. They were originally black because I wasn't sure what else to make them at the time.

• What is your Fursona's personality and how does this compare to your RL personality?
Ness is much calmer than I am. She's rarely shy & very flirty with men she deems alluring. She is very much into sex, wearing revealing clothing on occasion & is brave. Ness is basically the me I want to be if I wasn't terrified of humans.

• What is one item your Fursona owns that is significant to you in RL?
Ness's regular outfit consists of an orange denim jacket. It's based off of one that I own in real life that my mom gave to me on my 17th birthday. I still own the jacket & wore it on Halloween last year when I Cosplayed as Ness for the holiday. http://www.furaffinity.net/view/25296532/

One of my favorite Tumblr artists & fellow Game Grumps Lovely Salazzzle http://salazzzle.tumblr.com/ created a science fiction alternate universe that involves Brian & Danny from Ninja Sex Party as scientists that experiment with aliens, mostly of the sexy variety. Last week, I started brainstorming about my own addition to add into it after being a fan for probably a year & a half now. What I’ve basically done is converted my Fursona into an alien, nickname is ‘Scifi Ness’ or 'Alien Ness'. I took elements from Star Trek, Voltron Legendary Defenders, Yu Yu Hakusho, X-Men, Harry Potter, Homestuck, some of my fellow Furry artists, Zoids, Thor movie series and the mimosa pudica flower for inspiration of this alternate version of my Fursona. I will very soon be posting art & a bio/profile for her. Then writing a story to go along with it.
This project was created for Tumblr, but I'll also post here since this is Furry-related. I hope all of you will be looking forward to it. This will be the 1st time that I have created my own part for another fan's alternate universe & I'm so pumped about it!

The Linkin Park community is buzzing like crazy today. The lead singer Chester Bennington was found hung from suicide in his home this morning. I lost it when I read what had happened. I was so tired afterwards from crying that I had to sleep. It's been a few hours, but I feel as if I could break again at any moment. It hurts when somebody you care about passes away, especially when you didn't realize they were sick beforehand. Mr. Bennington was 41 when he passed away & leaves behind 6 children. Knowing that he's a father hurts my heart even more.
I've adored Linkin Park since high school. They were loud, angry, passionate & outspoken. They sang their emotions & were always honest. I'll say it again like with Daniel Kyer's passing. I know it's hard when you're so sick of being sick. You feel like there is no hope, like nobody cares about you & that life isn't worth it. You just become consumed in agony, that it becomes too much & all you want is for it to stop. I have felt like that countless times, but I keep trying. We all need to keep trying. There is hope. There are people who care & want to help you. If you ever need to talk, I'm here. Take care of each other. Be kind. Seek out others & take care of them in turn.

Good night, Mr. Bennington. Your music spoke to me & still does. Be at peace & sleep forever, only good dreams now.
