as far as i can remember, the most painful that happen is when i was about 5-ish, my mum used to bike ride me to school, me as the pillion, then when we got near the school, my ankle got caught in the back wheel spokes, twisted it rather badly, luckily nothing broken just a nasty sprain, was on crotches for a week

Ok get this.

I recently recieved this email the other day about dodging the demerits off your liscence (Australia only) if you happen to get a speeding fine, wether it was from a speeding camera or by an officer. This has brought to my attention and got me thinking that this either clever (or not so clever) idea could work. I thought i mention it here to get some comments to say it does or doesn't work or may never work.

The main idea is to not get the points taken off your liscence opon paying the fine, The way the plan goes if you get a speeding fine from a camera or an officer, is to send a check to the department where it comes from (now apperently it has been tried and was successful) but just for argument sake, say your fine was $130.00 for doing 15 km over the limit, you write on the check $131.00 instead off $130.00, this means you have them more then you should and they would have to mail a check for $1.00 to you (sounds rediculous i know). now, when getting that check, you don't cash it in, tear it up and toss it away, your points have not been taken off cause all transactions have not been completed, there for no actions will be done till it has.

That's the theory, but i reckon your points will still be taken, cause they still recieved the money you had to pay and then get put into there account and filed as payed, there not going to worry about what they send to you, as long as they have what you owed to them for your minor crime you commited, so the points will still be taken.

Am i wrong? Does it work? Has anyone tried this?

In the streets of Sydney when i have witness a crime. A defenceless man being mugged by someone who is much larger in size, then he saw me standing there watching over him ( which i happened to be wearing my suit at the time) walked up infront of me and demanded that i give him my wallet (as i appear a gold mine to him) so i had to act quicly and tried to improvise against him. I told him that i had stolen this suit and wallet from a very important attourney and that point the mugger looked up at me as if i was he new mentor, with a smile on his face he congradulate me and ended this with a high five, then we aparted with our own seperate ways to which i had just walked away from being mugged and to end up the same as the guy lying on the side walk. Thats not untill later the next day i found out that the guy lying on the ground was the mugger, not the vicim, quite unusual, the fact that he ask for my wallet which puzzled me and if that guy that took the mugger down was some type of nocternal hero then why didnt he stop me, but what dont get why he was going to thef of me he is some hero or someone with split personality or most common, thefs thefing thefs. Ah what a world we live in.
