Incomming Birthday and RE: Revelations
Posted 13 years agoIn four days I shall be another year older.
Resident Evil: Revelations is a pretty fun game so far. Good graphics and gameplay. If you want a game that really showcases the 3DS's abilities, then go out and get it.

My Inspiration.
Posted 13 years agoI've done some thinking about the pieces that I have folded and the artists that designed them, and I've come to the conclusion that there are different reasons that I like these artists.
For example, I idolize Robert Lang because of his organic shaping style and insect designs that are nothing short of perfect. However, I like John Montroll because his work has influenced me more than anyone else's.
His style leaves a lot of room for me to shape and mold his pieces to my liking. I've never really understood an artist for their style until John Montroll. Robert Lang is more of a goal to me. I want to be able to fold more organic models like him, but John Montroll's work has helped me understand how the models would look without all of the shaping and curving.
I just wanted to get some of these thoughts out and I really hope you guys ask yourselves the same questions.
What artist do you idolize or hope to be like?
What artist has influenced you most?

I don't understand...
Posted 13 years agoWhy my new cell decides to lock the keypad SOMETIMES, and SOMETIMES decides to unlock itself. It's a Galaxy TXT.
I'm in serious pain.
Posted 13 years agoI sat through most of the MLP live video. 3/4 of the way through, I felt this massive pain in my chest (about the time they start singing winter wrap up). I thought I was having a heart attack. I turned the video off and the pain went away. I'm really scared to watch any more of it.
Soon to have 1000 page views.
Posted 13 years agoI'm going to celebrate by make something from one of my favorite artists: David Brill. If I can find the book, that is.
Typing Impulse
Posted 13 years agoI was watching InsomniacOvrlrd's stream and he started drawing some End of Ponies art. I recently started reading the story and it is FUCKING AMAZING!!! It's over 500,000 words so it will take well over several days to read the whole thing nonstop. I've decided to stop until exams are over and Tom (insom) keeps drawing that stuff. It caused a strange emotional spike and I, in some weird reflex, typed the word STOP and pressed enter. I don't know how it happened, but I now know that I need to be more careful with my hands.
Anyone wanna Brawl?
Posted 13 years agoI'll be playing for the next few hours. My friend code is 3096-1224-4937. Just look for me.
WAT
Posted 13 years agoMario Kart 7 so far.
Posted 13 years agoI like it. It's fun, challenging, and a great way to pass the time. I just earned the Shy Guy character and I love him/her/it. He/She/It is so cute when it does tricks. It spins around, looks at the camera, and flings it's arms around.
Black Ops vs MW3 both on Wii.
Posted 13 years agoOk, I have to say this NOW. I am genuinely impressed with Modern Warfare3 for Wii. Mainly with the the larger amount of work put into it than Black Ops. I'll just list some of the more prominent differences.
-Controls: When I first started playing BO, I had to fiddle with the controls throughout the entirety of the first level. They had really weird defaults. With WM3 there was no need to. They felt great. I did raise the sensitivity a bit so I could aim faster, but other than that, they rock.
-Visual Effects: With BO the VFX (explosions, gun flashes, and other particle effects) looked dull and underused. With MW3 they actually pushed the Wii to It's limits. It looks fantastic.
-Color: One of the things that bugged me about BO was the lack of color. Everything seemed so dull and bland. With MW3 there are many more colors spread throughout the games textures and particles.
-Sound: The sounds in BO were quiet and flat. Gun sounds were flat and some of them sounded the same. The sounds in MW3 are loud and colorful. They are music to my ears.
-Player Models: In BO the player models were SHIT! They looked horrible. There was a MASSIVE lack of polygons and texture detail. With MW3 that problem is fixed. I can actually distinguish different parts of their faces.

IM SO FRIKIN HAPPY!!!!
Posted 13 years agoThe final update for the 3DS Ambassador Program arrived recently! 10 GBA games! The one that really caught my eye was F-ZERO: Maximum Velocity. I remember playing that game as a kid. *tears of joy* So I scrolled over to it and when the selector box was over it, the sound that plays when you turn on a GBA flowed through my ears! I'm still so happy.
Christmas is arriving shortly. (suggestions please)
Posted 13 years agoI need an idea. Something simple, yet elegant. I was thinking something like a mishmash of different things, Christmas themed of course. Just throw me a thought and I'll look into it.
I'm getting smarter!
Posted 14 years agoToday I got fed up with that DAMN stall siren on YSflight, so I removed the file. I don't want it. And it's somewhere that I can reach it if I need to. I think it has something to do with the conveniently named sound files. I just thought I would share my triumph. ^_^
HELP?
Posted 14 years agoIs anyone else having problems with firefox? Every time I go to a different page, I have to reload it to download it completely.
What's your IQ?
Posted 14 years agoTell me yours, and I'll you mine. Yes this is related to my last journal.
My mind has opened up.
Posted 14 years agoI had a strange moment today. I don't know what happened, but I can tell you what I saw. I was about to wash my hands after going to the bathroom, and I had this weird feeling. I turned on the faucet and for a moment, a very small fraction of a second, I didn't see a faucet. I saw what a faucet was. I saw it as a technological marvel, as a beautiful piece of inventive history. I saw an innovation that changed the world. I have moments like this every once and a while, and next time I have one I will make a journal about it.
I'm having a blast!
Posted 14 years agoThe speech recognition software on my computer works like a slightly damaged charm. Well, it works pretty well. I am typing this using the software. It recognizes everything that I am saying. I think it's awesome. I sound like a robot because it doesn't recognize everything correctly. If I say it wrong then it might type it wrong and that would be bad.
Watched new MLP episode.
