Commission request
Posted 15 years agoI am in despite need of someone to do a commission for me. My sister's birthday was March 6th and it's a gift for her. I did have someone who had said they could do it for me, but has just told me they can't.
We both have wanted a matching tattoo of a celtic cross with a dragon on one side and a fairy on the other for ages. I've had people (who I know would do a wonderful job of it) say they don't want to mess up something that would go on my body. It's a really disappointing battle so far because I feel like people who are more experienced won't do it because they're afraid of messing it up and people less experienced will do it, but will mess it up. I'm honestly not that picky and after looking at peoples art I can generally tell if I think they'd do a good job of it.
Anyway is there anyone that's willing to do this (for less then $50) or you know of that could do it?

I'm back!
Posted 17 years agoSorry I haven't been around for ages. I am currently working on catching up with all my backlog which some of you might have noticed already. First I went on a two week vacation, then I started a new job that made me only want to sit around and watch tv once I got home, then I was fired so now I have tons of time to catch up.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Even if you aren't American it's a great holiday because it's about 1) Remembering all the good things that have happened 2) Eating lots of food and 3) Being around the people you care about. Feel free to rearrange to order to suit your preference.

Posted 17 years agoI finished ready/looking/listening to all the submissions I had!!! (some of which were oh around 3 months old). I'm proud of myself now. Maybe I'll actually get around to writing something.
Jobs
Posted 17 years agoI have a good job, but it's not something I would want to do forever. I would love to work from home, but I'm not far enough along in writing anything (or possible talented enough) to be an author. So who knows of a good jobs one can have working from home? I'm open to any possibilities (as long as it's legal). I'm relatively intelligent if slightly dyslexic, by that I mean I have a BA and would have been top of my class (in a very small college) had I cared to study.
Also there's this that I was tagged for a while back.
Choose three songs from YouTube that move you (which would be a lot easier to do if You Tube was working):
1. Hallelujah I'm not exactly sure who sings this version (the one I'm used to is Rufus Wainwright) but it's the best version I've heard. It's always been one of my favorites though. Unless your very fond of OC I would suggest just listening. http://ie.youtube.com/watch?v=yMGyl-l3qqc
2. Forever Young by Rod Stewart, another on of my favorites because the words just get me. The video on this one is really cool http://ie.youtube.com/watch?v=_GGvFJDGoaM
3. The video..not that it's really a video is wonderful watch it and be happy: http://ie.youtube.com/watch?v=Q8YRfccBvuM It's too short. *sigh*
I'm not going to tag anyone, but if you haven't done it and would like to consider yourself tagged. # #

Cemeteries
Posted 17 years agoAfter not submitting anything for ages I thought I'd finally get round to it. One Thursday prompt and probably more interesting my cemetery photos. I love taking photos and I love taking photos in cemeteries even more. I'm submitting some original photos from several places. The problem with doing any editing is I have Photoshop on my falling apart laptop and I don't have much on the way of editing on my Mac.
