I could always make a second account, of course. (SinfulCrow?) But I already rarely remember to upload stuff as it is. Is splitting my theoretical responsibilities in two really the best course of action? Does anyone care? Do I care?

There's also a thought to start posting some of the sketch pages I occasionally doodle. Not that they're any good. But it's a thought.

I feel like writing something but can't really decide on what. Feel free to throw ideas/characters/concepts at me and I'll see if I can think something up.

One would assume a character is but a tool for my own enjoyment, a mask to hide behind when exploring the strange social space that is the internet. This was never my intention for Azrien, a character born from the amalgamation of several other characters I've written/rp'd as in the past. I had planned for Azrien to tell a story, to examine the line between animal and human, to explore the weight of immortality on a mortal mind, and most of all, present the world with a grounded, believable and relatable depiction of the mythical bird of fire. Azrien, like all the characters I've ever written, isn't a mere puppet, but an established individual with desires, flaws, and history all his own.

But then, the problem. What of when I wish for Azrien to do something I know he would not? It feels odd to say this when referring to one's own fictitious creations, but I have a strange degree of respect for my characters, and thus the thought of going against their desires to sate my own fills me with an utterly bizarre feeling of conflict, and eventually I am left with the most important question of all.

Why do I care?


I'm probably just overthinking things like I usually do.
